Oscar, now fourteen years of age, is knighted by Mabel in a traditional royal ceremony. He, along with Mabel, Aidan, and Enrique, is informally dubbed ‘Ermaneau’s elite four’ in high society. Meanwhile, Casey’s (second-in-command at Evil, Mabel’s intelligence guild) desire to find out Aidan’s true identity becomes stronger. He commands a man to tail Mabel’s carriage after seeing Aidan interact with her. As matters grow more complicated at the guild, Veron Devlica decides to exact his revenge on Aidan by bribing Casey to betray him.
In the meantime, Ermaneau is a picture of excitement due to the upcoming swordsmanship tournament. As rumours fly, a new craze takes over the empire. Baby Tyrant Chapter 80: Casey’s Two Tails
Baby Tyrant Chapter 80 begins with a hooded figure shadowing Casey. The black-robed man is Devlica’s underdog and is preparing to bribe Casey, Aidan’s right-hand man. Before he can make a move, Casey abruptly swivels and says, “You up there. Stop following me and come down here.”
As the hooded man descends, another cloaked man appears by his side. The two tails stare at each other in confusion, prompting Casey to say, “Jeez, it’s the ladies I want to be popular with, not men.” Casey adeptly judges one man to be from Devlin, simply based on his gait. He focuses his attention on the other man, who flees before Casey can identify him. The Devlin spy wastes no time and tosses Casey a coin pouch. Terming the money as ‘an advance’, he asks Casey to work for his master, saying, “Money is no object.” Casey smiles and decides to continue the conversation over a drink (paid for by the Devlin man, of course).
Later, the second hooded man appears before Estevan. He informs Estevan of Devlin making contact with Evil and his own quick getaway. Estevan begins suspecting Devlin and Evil of collaboration. He further punishes his spy for getting caught so speedily by disallowing him to meet Mabel for a month. The blonde man is immediately heartbroken and reveals that he only works to pay Mabel’s handshake fine.
A while later, Mabel is accompanied by Lisandro to her meeting. She notices the absence of the blonde knight who shakes her hand daily. In conversation, Lisandro calls Mabel short in height and is consequently chased around the garden by her. Baby Tyrant Chapter 80 concludes as Oscar watches Mabel’s playful antics and resolves to win the tournament to protect her.
Chapter 81: Enrique Duels Aidan
Baby Tyrant Chapter 81 begins with the highly anticipated swordsmanship tournament. Three people are favoured to win, namely, Oscar, Aidan, and Enrique (all extremely skilled and popular). Enrique expertly wins the first duel in barely one minute. Mabel sits on her throne, watching Enrique fight in amazement at his dexterity. ‘What a fine young man he’s growing up to be,’ she thinks brightly.
Larimah pops up behind Mabel and asks her who she prefers to win. “Perhaps… Lord Javier?” she suggests. Mabel blushes fiercely, shocked by the statement, while Estevan fumes at the possibility. Everyone closely scrutinizes Mabel. She thinks ‘Why is everyone suddenly fascinated with what my answer might be, as though they’re watching some reality dating show!’ To descalate Estevan’s fury, Mabel says, “I want you to win, Daddy!” Just as she wins over Estevan, the next duel is announced- between Enrique and Aidan.
As Enrique faces Aidan in the area, he realizes the high chance of losing. Enrique looks up at Mabel, thinking, ‘But I can’t back down. Because I, too, want to stand tall and proud at Her Majesty’s side.’ Mabel watches them apprehensively, hoping neither will get hurt. Aidan, irritated that Enrique was looking at Mabel, says in a bored voice, “How long do you plan to keep me waiting?”
As their swords repeatedly clash, Enrique realizes that Aidan was on the defense. Due to his genuine care for Mabel, Aidan doesn’t want to hurt Enrique. Enrique watches Aidan effortlessly parry his attacks, thinking, ‘He’s toying with me.’ In one final determined lunge, Enrique charges towards Aidan. Baby Tyrant Chapter 82: Mabel Deals With An Intruder
Baby Tyrant Chapter 82 begins as Aidan holds his sword against a defeated Enrique. Aidan is declared the victor. As he walks away, Enrique thinks, ‘It’s all right. I tried my best. As the tournament goes on, Mabel leans towards Lisandro to put her new plan into motion. Days before the tournament, Frantz (Mabel’s teacher, doubling as Evil’s accountant) informed Mabel that Devlin had contacted him. Frantz also described Casey’s encounter with Devlin to Mabel. Casey had taken the man out for drinks, asked for a large sum of money, and fed him false intel. Mabel trusted both Casey and Frantz, and therefore, decided to use Devlin’s advances against them. She told Frantz to accept the bribe and provide what they needed- an entry into the tournament.
On the day itself, Mabel sends Lisandro in the saboteur’s direction, telling him that Larimah had gotten lost. Exactly according to Mabel’s plan, Lisandro encounters the Devlin man and arrests him.
In the meantime, one of the semifinals concludes with the victory of Lord Bussley, a young boy who winks at a startled Mabel. In the seats beside her, Estevan and Marquess Gardenia (Mabel’s grandfather) begin plotting Bussley’s murder.
Finally, Oscar and Aidan face each other. In a long-awaited match, the two boys once again prepare to duel after many years. Oscar inquires about Aidan’s reason for competing, and Aidan describes it as similar to his. Baby Tyrant Chapter 82 concludes as Oscar says, “This time, I will be the one to protect Mabel.”
Chapter 83: Aidan And Oscar Duel
Baby Tyrant Chapter 83 begins with an explosive duel between Aidan and Oscar. “Don’t go easy on me, Aidan,” Enrique says, upon which Aidan thinks, ‘If I fought you wholeheartedly, you’d vanish.’ During the fight, Aidan reflects on Oscar’s hard work, sacrifice, and devotion to Mabel. Initially, he couldn’t understand it, but now he swears loyalty to the same person. Aidan summons his dark swordsmanship energy, which Oscar realizes as his own defeat. ‘Does a person powerful enough to defeat him even exist?’ he thinks, as Aidan overpowers him and throws him backward. As Aidan is declared victor again, Mabel runs down the steps yelling, “Oscar!”
Oscar tells Aidan that he’d better keep his promise to protect Mabel from Lord Bussley, who argues with an official in the arena about disallowing the use of swordsmanship energy. Aidan asks Oscar for his reason for competing, and Oscar says he’d have requested Mabel to never marry.
Mabel embraces Oscar and angrily tells the two boys that she’d yell at them later (look out, guys!).
After Aidan’s colossal triumph, the audience began worriedly whispering about Aidan’s terrifying powers. Mabel, angered by the return of a negative opinion on Aidan, decides to throw a party celebrating Aidan’s anticipated tournament victory. Baby Tyrant Chapter 84: Bombs Away!
Baby Chapter 84 begins with Aidan and Bussley’s duel. Mabel realizes that Aidan, easily more competent, is excessively toying with Bussley. Suddenly, an uproar is heard among the guards. Kit, the Guardian Deity, jumps up beside Mabel and declares, ‘We’re under attack’, right before the first bomb explodes.
As her mind races to address the failure of her plan, Mabel sees a pellet head straight toward her. She begins to reach out with her power when Aidan unexpectedly appears to shield her from the detonation. The man Lisandro arrested had an accomplice who set off the bombs and fled. Oscar runs to Mabel and immediately tells Aidan to step away from her. He tells Mabel to end the tournament to prevent further commotion.
Mabel realizes that if she stopped the event, it would be remembered as a failure. She decides to let the tournament run its course and plans to perform a miracle at the end. That way, no one would remember the attack. Bussley is declared the champion on a technicality, and Mabel hurriedly congratulates him. As he tries to propose to Mabel, Bussley notices the faces of Estevan, Oscar, and Aidan. He quickly changes his wish and requests wealth from Mabel instead.
After granting his desire, Mabel steps forward in the arena. She raises her hands, and drops of golden rain fall upon the audience. Chapter 85: Aidan Can Understand Kit
Baby Tyrant Chapter 85 begins as Aidan visits Mabel in her coma for the umpteenth time. As he perhaps absent-mindedly reaches for Mabel’s hand, Aidan recognizes the attack as his fault. Veron Devlica was wreaking havoc on Ermaneau and endangering Mabel as part of his vengeance. Aidan understands that Devlica’s threat would put Mabel in more danger if he remained by her side. But as Mabel wakes up and holds Aidan’s hand, he realizes he doesn’t want to leave her.
Mabel sits bolt upright and fumes over Devlica’s attack on her. “Just you wait, Veron! I’ll have my revenge!” she yells. Feeling overheated after shouting, she puts Aidan’s cool palm against her cheek. Flustered, Aidan’s hand becomes warm. Before falling asleep again, Mabel inquires what Aidan’s wish would have been had he won the tournament. Aidan follows Oscar’s example (he’d put his finger on his lips, frustrating Mabel) and tells her it’s a secret. In truth, Aidan’s wish was to be accepted by someone despite his dark past. And it had already been granted by Mabel.
Kit Visits Mabel… And So Does Aidan
Later, Kit pays Mabel a late-night visit. Watching her sleeping face, he reflects on his initial apathy towards her. Kit had grown tired of life due to his long existence and wanted Mabel to grow up quickly. However, after watching Mabel shine with genuine empathy for others, he became close to her. He wonders whether Mabel’s golden heart was the reason she was chosen by God and wishes for her carefree childhood days to pass slowly.
As Kit curls up beside her, he hears footsteps. ‘What are you doing here in the middle of the night?’ Kit asks, already recognizing the visitor. Aidan replies (he can communicate with Kit!) that he’d brought Mabel medicine, and walks to her bed with a box in his hand. Kit tells him that he’d already healed Mabel with his own powers, rendering Aidan’s medicine useless. Baby Tyrant Chapter 85 concludes as Kit tells Aidan that the Devlin energy flowing through his veins had grown fainter.
Baby Tyrant Chapter 86: Oscar Protects Mabel From Evil
Chapter 86 of Baby Tyrant begins as Kit transforms from an adorable little fluffball to a majestic and large feline. Kit pads around Aidan, examining him in evident distaste. He tells Aidan that his proximity to Mabel had a neutralizing effect on his Devlin energy. Kit, having divine power, detests Aidan and his dark energy. He wonders why Mabel, who possesses the same divine force as Kit, insists on keeping Aidan close by her. ‘His looks?’ Kit thinks in frustration, ‘Is it his looks?!’
Later, Gustaf informs Estevan that, as per his command, the House of Bussley (Lord Bussley won the swordsmanship tournament) will soon lose its wealth. He also informs of the Devlin enchanter’s (who planted the bombs) escape. Estevan also marvels at the timing of Mabel’s miracle, which had prevented damage to the imperial family’s reputation, and wonders if it could have been deliberate.
Oscar brings up the investigation of Evil. He requests Estevan to visit the guild, in disguise, to obtain information. He convinces Estevan of his competency, although Estevan hesitates out of worry for Oscar’s well-being, not capability. Oscar stands up in determination to protect Mabel from the guild (…it’s her guild), which Estevan cannot argue with. Although he’s distressed that both his kids seem to be in a hurry to grow up, Estevan eventually concedes to Oscar’s request.
Mabel Encourages the Destruction of Her Guild (…Oops)
Mabel enters the office, putting everyone in good spirits. Oscar asks after her health, and Mabel cheerfully says, “I’m all right now!” Estevan immediately cuts in, denying her statement, “No, you aren’t!” He begins speaking at length about Mabel’s reckless use of her powers. In the middle of the sentence, Mabel covers his mouth with her hands. She asks Estevan to forgive her, and Gustaf and Oscar pitch in. As always, he caves in to his daughter’s wide puppy eyes and lifts her into his lap. Before he can make Mabel promise to never act recklessly again, she says, “Speaking of, what were the three of you talking about?!” Mabel ignores Estevan’s icy glare as she listens to Oscar speak about the investigation of ‘some organization’. Failing to connect the dots, Mabel encourages her brother and says, “Be safe… and show them what you’ve got! Go ahead and destroy them!”
Later, at Evil, a man runs to Casey and Aidan and informs them that Prince Oscar has appeared. “Should I get on my knees?” Casey asks. Chapter 86 concludes as Aidan says, “No need. He might want to bust your kneecaps, though.”
Chapter 87: Aidan Sends A Note
Baby Tyrant Chapter 87 begins as Oscar wonders how Evil managed to acquire Count Mitteron’s manor as their headquarters. The mansion is unanimously regarded as the third most magnificent structure in Ermaneau. Oscar marvels at the organization and confidentiality within Evil.
Casey walks out to meet Oscar. Having done his research, Oscar is able to identify him as Evil’s second-in-command. It leads him to realize that they must be aware of his identity. Oscar asks him for information on the client who requested the imperial carriage to be tailed. Casey panics and evades the question (he himself was the one who ordered the tail).
Oscar reads the situation and changes his request. He decides to buy information on the guild itself and “Ethan” (Aidan), the guildmaster. Casey is alarmed. Since Aidan had ordered Casey to clean up his mess, he was determined not to fail. He had also learnt his master’s true identity- the Demon of Devlin- and was terrified of being killed. Moreover, he was deathly afraid of the real guildmaster, who, according to him, must be even deadlier than Aidan to be able to control him.
Mabel’s Mouse Messenger
Later, Mabel has tea with Duchess Donovan. The Duchess watches her and realizes how closely she resembles Sianna. Suddenly, a mouse approaches Mabel’s table and causes chaos among the royal servants. Mabel recognizes the mouse (Squeaky) and stops him from being killed. Running away from Duchess Donovan with the little creature sheltered in her hands, Mabel feels embarrassed at her own childishness.
Back in her room, Mabel looks for the note Squeaky brought from Aidan. She realizes it had been lost in the commotion and retraces her steps to find it. She finally spots the note lying outside Estevan’s office. Before she picks up the message, she hears Oscar inform Estevan about a possible connection between Duke Javier and the mysterious guild he’s investigating. She reads Aidan’s note, which warns her about Oscar’s visit to Evil, and hears her brother say, “It seems a formidable individual is backing the guild Evil,” at the same time. Baby Tyrant Chapter 87 concludes as Mabel finally understands, ‘That’s my guild!’
