Marionetta has taken our hearts by storm. Previously, we have seen our protagonist Julia being swept into a world with a deal that will kill her if she doesn’t kill the circus master Tonny. Julia gets swept into this to save her friend Kamille. As days pass, Julia gets used to the circus environment. She socialises with people whom she would always avoid. She is even in the flirting stage with an Ah’kon who is considered an abomination by the government. The Ah’kon are used in the research centers as slaves. Let’s see what happens with Julia and the Ah’khon in Marionetta Chapter 82.
Marionetta Chapter 82: Mr. Lazarett Is Here
Marionetta Chapter 82 begins with Rainah freaking out between Sahed who is sleeping and Julia who is awake. She is exasperated at how Sahed could sleep in this situation when the military is all over the circus looking for them. Rainah is even curious and hurt how could they forget to tell her about the Ah’kon child whom the military is looking for, and whom they were trying to hide? Then we see her thanking Julia for controlling Sahed, for he was not as rash as he usually was.
We hear Kamille’s voice searching for them. Julia tells her she is there. Kamille says they are having a cozy sleepover. Then Rainah asks if the military is gone from the circus tent. Kamille calls Julia, saying her father has come to meet her.
Julia, Kamille, Rainah, and Sahed head over to meet Mr Lazarett, who is in Tonny’s office. When Julia’s father sees her, he tells her to explain everything. She freaks out and asks where the child is. But her father remains adamant, demanding answers about how she suddenly left to join a circus troupe and how she now wants to protect a fugitive Ah’kon.
He screams that they are dangerous to her. Julia asks how he could hurt that child. Julia says her father doesn’t know, but the Ah’kon are being tortured in the research center. And did her father know this already and not tell her? And then demands to know where the child is, did he hand her over to the military?
Julia and the Ah’khon Child
Dotty comes in asking Julia to calm down and brings with her the child. Dotty said she went to give her a bit of dress-up and makeup so that she doesn’t get found out when she leaves the city. Julia’s father then tells her he is taking her out of the city. The other military thinks the child is dead, but it is still safer to get her out of the city.
Julia offers to let the child stay with them. But her father refuses to tell that the Ah’kon is dangerous and that he won’t have Julia near it. But he says he agrees that Ah’kon is still a child and deserves a childhood. So he is taking her away to raise her, for the child as well as for Julia. Julia asks her father to leave the military and become a farmer or something. Her father says that at this age, he can’t, but he asks Julia to come home as he will always welcome her with open arms. He said he would wait for Julia, his precious daughter.
On the other side, we see Amelia giving time off to another Ah’kon (Jathar), telling him he deserves rest after a new discovery. Amelia always said she didn’t know this measure would be so useful. We see that Jathar’s eyes have been gouged out except for the third eye, ending Marionetta Chapter 82.
What Happened So Far?
Julia attempts to murder Tonny with the help of Sahed and Ah’kon, but fails and spirals. She couldn’t believe she ever tried to hurt Tonny. As time passes, she gets her confidence back and decides to help Sahed destroy the Aspett research center. So Sahed teaches her how to use seals.
On the other hand, her best friend Kamille is madly in love with Rainah. It was love at first sight, due to whom Kamille willingly gave her life to join the circus. Although Rainah rejects her due to her personal reasons. Rainah feels burdened by Kamille’s love.
Lastly, in the last article, we see Julia reunite with her father. He was in the capital city and trying to catch an Ah’kon child whose parents had been killed. Julia, along with Sahed and other’s helps save her from the military. Julia gives her father the child and makes him promise to keep her safe.
