The Mafia Nanny Chapter 95 begins with Davina saying to Madam Angelini (Eva) that she could have sat in the back. She immediately replied, “We have far too much to discuss.” Eva mentions how Gabriel is as secretive as his father, Azrael Angelini; however, unlike his father, the underboss has a protective streak that makes him predictable. She firmly asks, “Has he revealed his plan to you?” Shocked, Davina asks which plan? With a very cold look, Eva replies, “The one where he finishes what Emmaline began.”Â
Eva advises Davina to disappear once her task is done because when the Don learns about Gabriel’s run, everyone will have to pay a price. Seeing the Elite Nanny shocked again, she asks her to shun away that expression because that’s how the underground rolls. She added something unexpected, “My time grows short. I want to tell you the truth about what happened to your parents. And then I’d like to see my grandchild one last time.”Â
Eva requests that Davina at least help her say goodbye despite the order she has. Davina thinks to herself, Madam expects her to take Mikey and escape. But she declares that she won’t do that and disobey Gabriel’s order. She hesitates and says, “I have to ask -” The reason she became the Elite Nanny at all was because of this moment. Truth Behind Davina’s Parents’ Death
Eva Angelini begins, “The Diavolos and the Angelinis have a storied history. The families worked together for several years. It was a strong, if competitive, partnership. Until Azrael became convinced your father betrayed him.” Davina immediately tries to confirm, to which Eva replies that she has never been certain. She also doubted her husband’s conviction at that time because Davina’s family wouldn’t gain anything by shaking hands with Madrid. [Madrid is the Spanish mafia gang. It makes sense why Breixo was threatening Gabriel and Davina with her past.] At that time, she also advised Azrael to be cautious, but his hands were bound.
Eva continues, “There was a party Azrael attended, and it was there he found proof of your parents’ betrayal.” Although he never shared the proof with Eva. She reveals how Azrael was headstrong about removing any hint of Diavolo that night. Davina asks, “Could there have been other survivors like me?” Madam Angelini replies, “That is a dangerous question. I would not ask it where others might hear.” [Does that mean Davina has siblings? Madam reveals she broke off with her husband after that incident since Davina’s mother was dear to her. She left the city for good and never saw her husband alive again. The Mafia Nanny Chapter 96: Visit to ENA
The Mafia Nanny Chapter 96 begins with Madam Angelini and Davina arriving at ENA (Elite Nanny Academy). While entering the Academy, Davina had a clear flashback of what the headmistress Amelia had done for her since childhood.
Upon seeing the headmistress, Eva reacts, “There’s a sour face I didn’t think I’d see again.” And she receives an equally cold reply, “So you aren’t dead yet. That’s nice.” Amelia asks Eva to walk with her. She sends Davina to the boys (Mikey and Louis) and gives Eva an unexpected offer, which could give some meaning to her life at this age – “We could use an etiquette teacher. Come work for us.” Eva ponders how she has nothing left in Verona, and maybe when her grandson doesn’t need her anymore, it would be the right time. Amelia immediately reassures her, saying Mikey can visit ENA any time.
At the door, Davina could hear excited Mikey and Louis packing their dolls. Hearing Davina, Mikey runs and hugs her, saying he missed her. The next thing he asks is where is Gabriele? Not planning to hide anything from the smart little underboss, she confirms that Gabriel might not be home for a while as he is taking care of something. Sensing his father is in trouble, Mikey says Davina has to find him. Sad, Davina confesses, but she has to take care of him too.
“You Have to Find Him”
Davina thinks to herself, “I can’t involve Mikey, but I can’t abandon Gabriel, either. Mikey needs his father, and so do I.” [Just how long can you keep those emotions to yourself, Davina?] Eva enters the room, reassuring her that she will take care of Mikey’s safety, and Davina should go find her son. They exit ENA with some really sad nannies waving them goodbye.
Back at the mansion, Gabriele’s confidantes greet Mikey and Davina. However, they are shocked that instead of running away with Mikey to keep him safe, Davina returned. She senses the tension in them and thinks to himself that it won’t help either of them. Adam and Nico joke with Mikey about their injury, saying it was just a car crash.
In the meantime, Madam Lavigne arrives to pick up Louis along with her husband. Seeing the adorable banter between Louis and his father, Mikey can’t help but feel sad. The Mafia Nanny Chapter 96 ends with Davina thinking to herself, “Don’t worry, Mikey. I’ll bring your father back, whether he likes it or not.”Â
