This makes Dahye relieved and grateful to her, who, noticing her delight, offers her a piece of stir-fried bracken, finding her quirks both weird and cute. Meanwhile, the boy from the tree, now identified as Yeon Tan, glares at Maru, clearly unhappy with his own lunch.

Later, the kids engage in a game where they must walk carefully across blocks without toppling them. She takes her turn but loses spectacularly. Suddenly, Maru snatches Junho’s phone and runs away, disabling his phone ID for five minutes. At that moment, Junho shouts that Woori will give them treats, shocking her. The kids turn their attention to Woori just as Junho dashes away to get some candies, leaving the group to humorously prey on the now-terrified Woori, concluding Maru Is A Puppy Chapter 27.

When Yoojin asserts that Gyeoul was with Woori, Gyeoul insists she has been in the bathroom, sending chills down everyone’s spine.

Meanwhile, Woori is chasing after ‘Gyeoul’ when she discovers chocolate in her pockets. She offers the chocolate in exchange for her shoe, and ‘Gyeoul’ agrees. As they walk back together, Woori feels uncomfortable at Gyeoul’s statement that she’s dressed as a human. As Woori takes a few more steps, she notices that there’s no one inside the ghost costume, sending her into a panic. She bolts back to her, insisting they go home quickly. Maru turns back to wave at someone as they hurry away.

Later, Woori and Maru head to dispose of their trash and encounter a glum Sunjeong. Woori starts to walk away, but Sunjeong stops her. Maru Is A Puppy Chapter 28 ends with Sunjeong confessing that she has a crush, leaving both Maru and Woori shocked.

Chapter 29: Sunjeong’s Crush
