Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 27 opens with, both Eve and N are flustered as they encounter Dae’s illusion in Eve’s dream. Dae, appearing comforting, holds her gently and declares that they are friends. N, clearly irritated by the intrusion, punches his own illusion in the face. She is still processing the bizarre encounter and asks N what dreams taste like. In a poetic tone, N explains that dreams aren’t so much about taste but about emotions. It is like a rush of energy and adrenaline. It’s a window into someone else’s mind and kind of fills the empty part of you.
N recounts one of his past experiences where he once entered a person’s dream, it was pitch black. But there were different textures, sounds and smells. Later, he came to know that he entered a blind person’s mind. He was looking at the world through his perspective. Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 27 ends with Eve asking N about how her dreams make him feel.
Chapter 28: Meddler
Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 28 opens with Dae waking up and getting ready for the start of another day. Alex is in the middle of a practise session, experimenting with her cosmetology skills on both Benji and Cark. She’s eager to try out new products and techniques, and, in her usual bold manner, asks Dae if she can test some of them on him. However, he politely excuses himself.
Dae gets a call from Jae, he asks him to escort Eve for a private meeting with him. He also exclaims how Eve has a liking towards Dae, hearing this makes him blush, but at that moment Jae in a serious tone asks him if he noticed something about the content of the USB. Dae tells him that he knows that it is related to the music videos of Cherri, and asks him about the consequences if the truth comes out, with Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 28 ends.
Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 29: Like an Old Friend
In Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 29, Cherri is struggling with the singing lessons. Even looking at good comments on her videos makes her feel bad. She thinks that what if Eve decides to go back on her words and leave her? The scene shifts to Dae waiting for Eve to pick her up and escort her to her brother. On meeting Jae, Dae is given a non-disclosure agreement to sign. Jae tells Eve about the hiring of a vocal coach for her. As Eve never received a proper singing lesson. By this, she can improve her skills. Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 29 concludes with the vocal coach already knowing her.
Chapter 30: Respectable
Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 30 opens with, Eve remembering her Vocal Coach Zen. He attended the same uni as her. Back then she knew him as a teacher’s assistant. He was a friend of her old friend Lana. Zen was a little older than her batch and all the girls used to fawn over him. Eve was surprised that he remembered her. Zen assures Jae that his being familiar with Eve won’t change anything about the confidentiality of the lessons. After the meeting when Jae and Dae are alone. Dae asks Jae to be careful of Zen. Jae Explains him that Zen being familiar with Eve is a good thing for them. Zen could help in pursuing Eve to extend her contract, with this Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 30 coming to an end.
Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 31: While You’re Sleeping
The Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 31 opens with Eve completely exhausted from being social all day. She gets ready to call it a night. Dae thinks about his brother’s words about pursuing Eve to extend the contract. He decides to dissuade Eve while she is sleeping. At night, Dae as N leaves to visit Eve. He senses that he is being followed but when he looks back he finds no one so he ignores it. Scene Shifts to Eve having a nightmare. She is tied to the strings as a puppet, with this Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 31 concludes.
Chapter 32: Strings
Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 32 opens with, Eve as a puppet tied to strings. She is made to perform on a stage in front of rabbit-faced people. She tries to break out of the control of the strings but all her attempts fail. A rabbit-faced girl holding a pair of scissors asks her to cut the strings off as she cuts off with her friends. N arrives and makes her calm down and Eve pours her heart out to N revealing her insomnia started back in her college days. She saw her friends moving forward but she was falling behind. She decided to cut all ties with her friends so she could focus on herself. However, she remained friends with Cherri because she left college to be an influencer.
Eve felt like she was similar to Cherri but now Cherri was also reaching heights but she is still there behind. Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 32 ends with Dae giving her the idea to help her look into Cherri’s mind.
Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 33: Consider It
Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 33 opens with Eve declining the offer because she does not want to harm others especially those whom she knows personally. The day breaks and both are silently lying down in their room. The scene shifts to Zen having his first vocal lesson with Eve. After the class ends Eve and Cherri both talk over the phone. Out of nowhere, Cherri asks her if she likes Zen and also asks her, to consider dating him. She refuses the idea immediately, she asks Cherri to date instead. However, she is not allowed to date from the day she became an influencer.
Cherri says Eve is lucky for being a ghost singer. As she does not need to worry about her image in public and can be with anyone she likes. At that very moment, her eyes meet with Dae whose was standing in front of her apartment door and Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 33 concludes.
Chapter 34: Together Alone
Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 34 opens with Eve ending her conversation with Cherri. She greets Dae as he comes to visit her as he is in the area for delivery. He asks her if she would look for job hunting together. Hearing this Eve felt shy as Cherri was feeling her mind with dating stuff. She comes to reality and asks Dae why was he looking for another job. He wants to get another job to earn extra cash. He jokes that he realized being a delivery man has not made him a millionaire. Eve chuckles and agrees to go for a job hunting with him.
Dae during his work hours is lost in thoughts that he has broken all his rules, and this is because he is obliged to. He wants to make her realize sooner that she should care less about others and hear herself out more. This will release him from keeping two personalities and become who he actually is, ending Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 34.
Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 35: Guise
Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 35 opens with Jae inviting a specialist for his mother’s dementia treatment. In the evening Jae and Dae were walking down the street. Dae asked about the meeting with the specialist. In response, he asks him not to get his hopes high up. But he still keeps his hopes high because he knows that his mom is still there somewhere and not gone forever. Jae asked Dae to drop by Cherri’s home and make a delivery because he was busy with some work.
In the next scene, he meets Cherri in the evening. In their first meeting, he is confused about how Cherri and Eve being opposites are friends with each other. She asks him to excuse her for being enthusiastic as she has heard a lot about him. He replies back that even he heard a lot about her and mentions that her roommate is a fan of her, especially her music videos. Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 35 ends as Cherri’s face becomes pale.
Chapter 36: On the Inside
Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 36 opens with Cherri asking Dae to say her roommate thank you and sees her off. As Cherri closes the door her face becomes red with anger she knows that he patronized her intentionally. She has a conversation with Eve and mentions how she gets bad vibes from Dae. She gets worried about the times Dae and Eve spend together as she thinks Dae has something against her. And thinks that he might turn her back on her. Thinking all this she asks her to stay alert from him and not be fooled by his cute face. She assures her that no one is getting fooled. After the call ends Eve dozes on the bed while making her vocal class notes. N enters her room and gets shy when she speaks her name in her sleep. Eaternal Nocturnal Chapter 36 concludes with Dae entering her dream.
