Refund High School Chapter 100: Aru Worried About Mari And Waxy
Refund High School Chapter 100 begins with a fresh start following the chaos of the Red Eclipse Festival. Queen Yemma feels a bit of relief as the rain has finally stopped. She heads towards the forest, where Dicarius is lying on the ground, with his eyes closed and probably unconscious. Using her power, she wakes him up and praises him, saying he has done well and asks him to rest.
After the horrifying mayhem of the festival, the classroom has turned into hospital accommodation. Worried, Aru wakes up asking, “Where are Mari and Waxy? And what about Cloudy and Mook?” Anxious, she runs towards the nurse’s room and hugs the bed, thinking it’s Maru, but it’s Mook.
Seeing Mook, she apologizes embarrassingly and turns around to see Mari and Waxy, and eventually bursts into tears. Mari’s well-being really relieves her, but she is still worried about Cloudy’s condition. Refund High School Chapter 100 ends with a photo of Cloudy covered with flowers, and Aru is on her knees in grief, crying to see the condition of her beloved pet—Cloudy! RIP, fluffy friend!
Refund High School Chapter 101: RIP Cloudy!
In Refund High School Chapter 101, Aru is still grieving Cloudy’s death, and all her friends are concerned because she has not eaten anything. In the ceremony, Jun tries to comfort Aru, saying it is not her fault. Cloudy willingly sacrificed himself for her because she had shown him so much kindness. Later, he encounters Beauty, who reminds him to prepare for the reincarnation test because that is all he ever wanted.
In the next scene, we see a flashback of Jun’s life. He caught a ball through the fence wires, resulting in an injury. Despite this, he refused to see a doctor for treatment. A few days passed by, and the wound was still hurting, which made him realize that something was wrong. Suddenly, he gets a seizure, and this is how he dies. All these memories remind Jun to be serious about the upcoming test.
Aru is still grieving Cloudy’s loss, and she meets her furry friend, likely in a dream. Cloudy reassured her that every single day he spent with her was filled with happiness. He came to say goodbye and told her that nobody ever cared about him like Aru did. He stayed with Aru and decided to save her because he wanted to. Later, Aru realizes that because of her, he was granted a chance at reincarnation, having been an evil spirit whose actions were deemed as penance for his sacrifice. Before leaving, Cloudy asks Aru to promise him that she will be a good student and that she will meet him in the next life.
Refund High School Chapter 102: Aru’s Promise to Cloudy
Refund High School Chapter 102 starts with Aru waking up with a smile and making breakfast for her friends, which surprises all of them. Aru told her friends that she had promised Cloudy that she would be normal again. In the next scene, Mook thanks Aru for protecting him, to which Aru replies that it is nothing as compared to what he has done for her. Gang Ho appears and expresses his happiness seeing Mook all well again.
In the next scene, learning about the reincarnation test, Aru runs up to Jun to ask him something, but he avoids the conversation, saying he is busy right now. She realizes that there will be no next time because he will be reincarnated soon. On the other hand, Mook observes Aru and, with a clenched fist, asks, “Do you like Jun?”
Chapter 103: Aru And Jun
In Refund High School Chapter 103, Aru explains her feelings towards Jun. She admits she likes him, but it is more of an admiration for a senior. She continued that Jun was always ready to help her and provide solutions to problems, so she wanted to say thanks before he left. She also tells Mook that they would be in different places after exams, too, because he always wanted to become a dragon in his next life.
In the next scene, Jun, Beauty, and other seniors walk towards the assembly to take their test. Gang Ho and Aru greet them and wish them luck for the reincarnation test. Aru takes up courage and goes to Jun to thank him for all the help and good memories.
Aru, Mari and Sehui indulge in a conversation about whether they will all be together in the next life or not. Mari thinks that she would have been happier if they hadn’t been connected in their past life, given her recollection of herself as a brat. They end the conversation with a pinky promise – to meet each other in the next life.
Refund High School Chapter 104: “I Like You”
Refund High School Chapter 104 begins with Mari being sad about her beanstalk. Seeing her, Waxy apologizes because he thinks it was all his fault. Sehui asks them to come along with her to the garden. They observe a new plant in Mari’s section, which was a gift from the homeroom teacher. (Literally the best teacher EVER!)
On the other hand, Aru observes that even though her plant is growing, there is an empty space in the middle. Sua tells her, “It might be that you need something that can complete you!” Seeing Gunn clicking pictures of the plant, Sehui says “Oh god! I have never seen you take a photo of something other than yourself!” He replies, “It’s a diary for my selfie plant!” (That’s quite a unique name!)
In the next scene, Mook approaches Aru with a beautiful, glowing, blue-coloured flower. He hands it over to Aru, nervously thinking to himself whether she will like it or not. She is totally stunned to see how beautiful the plant is, plus it’s glowing! He finally confesses his feelings, saying, “I LIKE YOU!”
Chapter 105: Shocked Aru
Mook finally confesses his feelings, but Aru thinks he is too perfect for her. She wonders why he would like someone like her.
In the dorm room, Sehui says that she has almost completed the yarn. Suddenly, they notice Aru hasn’t even started yet, and she is acting weird again. The next day, the ethics teacher announces that they will get their assignment back on the reincarnation test day.
In the next scene, we see Mook in his room, getting ready for dinner, as he asks the homeroom teacher whether he has ever liked someone or not. To this, he replies that it’s been a long time. He realizes that Mook has Aru in his mind and advises him to prioritize the Nirvana classes. In the next scene, we see Mook and Aru greeting each other and discussing how they will not be able to see each other often after today. To which Mook replies, “I’ll come see you, wherever you are!”
Refund High School Chapter 106: Waxy Likes Mari
Refund High School Chapter 106 begins with Aru and her girls excited about being second-year students. The tension about the new classes is transparent. And Aru is still acting up because of Mook’s confession. So, Aru, being a critical overthinker like me, can’t stop thinking about whether Mook will choose the Reincarnation or Nirvana classes. The news finally breaks out that Mook has chosen to be in the Nirvana classes.
On the other hand, Waxy has chosen to be in Reincarnation classes rather than Nirvana classes, and the reason is not so shocking: to hang out more with Mari. (How cute, Waxy!) Mari realizes this and says they can try going out if he likes her or not. (Haha, classic Mari!)
The gym teacher announces to teach the ‘Silent Meditation’. It is a practice involving a process of shedding the shell of their spirit and casting them out, which is essential training for reincarnation.
Mari struggles to practice the silent meditation, which results in her getting a windy blow from the assistant squirrel. On the other hand, Aru swiftly completes the practice as she is thinking about Mook the whole time. Later, she runs up to Sehui to ask about the way to Nirvana classes. Refund High School Chapter 106 ends with her running towards the Nirvana classes, chanting, “I miss him.”
Reflection
Refund High School webtoon continues to fascinate me even after crossing 100 chapters, which is a big deal to me because I am a fast reader who halfway skips the story, but this one still has me invested.
