Osora turns out to be more than just a queer romance webtoon. This fantasy webtoon deals with more than just same-sex love, the story also revolves around questioning identity, childhood trauma, child grooming, and more. With the character of Miko, Osora Chapter 57 shows how Apollo groomed 15-year-old Miko. From the previous Osora chapters, we know how Miko is completely head-over-heels for Apollo. He won’t think twice before saving Apollo’s life at the cost of his own. Simultaneously, Apollo’s nonchalant attitude towards Miko’s affection is transparent to the readers. Let’s delve deeper into their toxic relationship.
Osora Chapter 57: Miko Trusts Apollo

Osora Chapter 57 begins with Mar and Miko having a staring contest. Mar breaks the silence, asking if he has something on his face. He replies with astonishment, letting him know he has forgotten what he looked like before, since he has changed so much. With all honesty, Mar says that was the goal of his escape. At that moment, Apollo arrives and asks Miko to go back home, he will take over. Like the clingy boyfriend he is, Miko runs up to him and hugs his chest. Miko gets upset learning that Apollo was at Calaveras Kingdom observing Osora. Apollo reminds him to work well on his training, they have time till December (Osora’s wedding month). Miko replies positively and kisses him on his mouth, shocking Mar. Before he leaves, Mar asks Miko if they are seeing each other. He says yes, and it’s been a few years.
The chapter goes into a flashback (6 years ago) where we see Lord Hyrus recruiting 15-year-old Miko. His Augrian descent fascinates Apollo and his team. Apollo begins to show him around and spend more and more time with him. This growing closeness doesn’t escape Mar’s eyes, and he warns him to be careful about his steps since he is still too young for Apollo (then a 23-year-old).
Apollo takes Miko to his room and starts praising his sense of independence at this age. Miko mentions he is mature for his age, having experienced a lot of things. With a smirk, the older guy starts talking more about his personal life. He asks if he has kissed someone before. Upon saying yes, Apollo asks him to prove himself. Soon they grew more intimate, and Apollo manipulated Miko, saying no one would understand their bond, so let’s-keep-it-a-secret.Â

It’s difficult for him to convince himself and be calm, knowing Osora is doing something he doesn’t want to. Arias knows Osora, so despite the ache in his heart, he is certain one day Osora will gather the courage to choose himself. And that day, Arias will give him the life Osora actually deserves.
