Marionetta has kept us hooked from the first chapter. But recently, as you might have read in the previous article, we get to know what Tonny is hiding; he is hiding the fact that souls aren’t able to leave even after being killed by him, at their request. We also get to know that Sahed never had an intention of killing know because he knew he couldn’t. Sahed and Julia have also made some progress in their relationship; seemingly, they both like each other. As Julia confesses, she wants to get to know him better, in a drunken state.
Marionetta Chapter 65: Ryishmar
Marionetta Chapter 65 begins with Tonny leaving in a puff to go talk to Ryishmar. And asking him why he didn’t tell Tonny about Sahed and Rainah, knowing about the soul’s situation. Then Tonny apologizes for talking to him in this way, and says he needs to respect him more. He hands him a quill and paper for him to write down the answer. The life deity writes to me that his death is near.
Tonny gets angry, saying he will never let Ryishmar take over the circus. He used to have great respect for him, but now no longer does. That no matter what, Tonny will keep being the leader of the circus. Everyone gets to be happy and live or die, but he has to keep being the head of the circus, so he can’t do that. He was never made for the leadership position and wants to be ordinary, but because of this circus, he can’t do that. Tonny said he will never let Ryishmar succeed.
On the other hand, we see a drunk Kamille barging into Rainah’s room, causing havoc. She demands an answer from Rainah about Julia. Then asks if she and Tonny are dating, she saw them sitting alone in the dark.
Marionetta Chapter 66: Rainah’s Story
Marionetta Chapter 66 starts with Rainah talking about a past story, when they still lived in a castle. She was madly in love with a girl, who used to do sword training, named Eithra. Eithra used to help Tonny manage the castle and stop fights. She was a ancient as Ryishmar himself.
Rainah said she was a fool in love and didn’t notice the signs, but they were always there. Their romance was brief. Finally, Eithra snapped, asking Tonny to give the dagger and kill her. Tonny refused, saying she was like a sister to him. Eithra was suspicious, telling that she didn’t want to be alive, that Ryishmar thinks of himself as a God. But no God will do this. That this is evil and demonic, but they are taking the life force of others to be alive. Eithra started silently protesting, she refused to go out or eat. Resulting in her wasting away. A long time passed before Tonny took the final decision to put her to rest. Hearing all of this, Kamille starts crying in front of Rainah.
Chapter 67: Julia Learns Seals
Marionetta Chapter 67 starts as Julia wakes up in the morning, muddled-headed and regretting her actions when she was drunk the night before. Kamille asks to let her sleep as she was reflecting on her naivety. Then her roommates remind Julia she has a date with Sahed. So she gets ready and knocks on Sahed’s door, looking cute and gorgeous. Sahed says he is glad Julia remembers, as Kamille said he was delusional to think a drunk Julia would remember.
Julia is being taught seals by Sahed. Julia applies to use and tattoo her body to work seals to help in the destruction of the research centre. Sahed replied that there’s no need to draw them on inanimate objects. We see Julia succeed in replication the seal of strength, but Rainah comes saying seals are not toys and Julia should leave right now.
Marionetta Chapter 68: Rainah Scolds Sahed
Marionetta Chapter 68 starts with Rainah scolding Sahed about teaching Kalgratt residents the seal. As nothing good ever came out of it. And how could Sahed not learn after what happened with Steinsheimer? That she knows he likes Julia and that’s fine, he can kiss, act lovey-dovey dovey, but to teach her seals just to impress her. Rainah says Julia’s father is in the military and that she used to hate the Ah’kon when she came, and she has just decided to help them what if she changes her mind? And give all the learned seals to the national government.
Sahed says she won’t do it, but Rainah asks not to teach her the seals. Then we everyone makes plans to destroy the research center, and they decide to go back to the capital city and gain trust. Sahed still decides to teach Julia the seals in secret.
Chapter 69: Amelia’s family
Marionetta Chapter 69 begins with the research center workers Amelia and the other colonel going to the city where Amelia was born to meet her father. The brother tells Amelia must be too free as she is not working and coming here for a trip. She asks to speak to her father and then asks him to access the archives, but her father refuses, saying he had heard reports of Amelia just being despondent, that she is tarnishing her siblings’ bright future and reputation, and that she should go back to her husband. Amelia is being removed from the post. If Amelia wants to be helpful, she can attend parties with her father.
Amelia pissed goes to find her husband and the toebr offices romans the capital city. There, he finds Julia answering the questions on the constitution, and he feels he has seen her somewhere, and grabs her hand to ask her.
Marionetta Chapter 70: Amelia Kills Her Husband
Marionetta Chapter 79 starts with Julia Askin, the military officer, not to grab a woman who has a wife if she is not under arrest. And that she had never seen him before. Then Julia runs off to inform Kamille and tells her they need to be careful, as some of the military from the Aspett research center are in there. Then Julia decides to go find Tonny. When Julia comes, she finds Tonny asleep on his bed with his research and drawings scattered around.
On the other hand, we see Amelia went to meet her husband and asked him to give him dinner. At the dinner table, while preparing wine and adding poison to his cup, she tells him her father has fired her from her position, and now she has time for him. Her husband says he can get her a job. And then he tells Amelia he doesn’t drink. Then we see Amelia calling her father with a dead body and a knife in her hands and blood all over her, saying that being a housewife hadn’t worked well for her.
Chapter 71: Tonny And Sahed
Marionetta Chapter 71 starts with Tonny reprimanding Julia for being in his room. Tonny asks her not to look at the documents as they are a bit private. Julia says she will make Tonny some ginger soup as he looks tired. And then she brings it to him. Tonny is very thankful. Julia said she used to do it for her father, too. And that she is sure Tonny is under stress, partly because of her. But Tonny said that’s not the only reason that he cares deeply for all members of the circus, but either he lets them down, or they give up. He said the feud between him and Sahed broke him, and Sahed used to be close; he taught Sahed how to read, and he let him down, and they are having a feud now. He can’t let Ryishmar succeed.
On the other side, we see Amelia in the archives and she is borrowing her documents. Her father has allowed her to use it after the mess she caused them. She takes a train to return to the Aspett research center, where a doctor says they have found a new seal.
Marionetta Chapter 72: Julia Reunited With Her Dad
Marionetta Chapter 72 begins with everyone of the circus fathers claiming the free ice cream voucher that Julia won. But he chases them away, and still gives free ice cream to Kamille. Julia asks Kamille why she looks down. Kamille replies that she went to talk to Rainah and realised she put too much pressure on her, so now she just wants to be friends while she looks for other women. Then Kamille tells Julia to flirt with Tonny as he seems lonely and has been giving Julia the looks. Julia should get him drunk to get the truth out of him. Julia says she trusts him.
Then they notice a child looking lost, and then they try to look after the child, and they find the child is an Ah’hon, but they can’t go to catch her as the strings pull at them. Then she bumps into her father.
