Love 4 A Walk is certainly one of the best romance webtoons of all time and it has all the right reasons to stay on Number 1. Pam and Tyler are finally in an adult relationship and they are navigating their ways to make it work. In the recent chapter, things between two other important characters Ann and Bernard went downhill as the former learns that he has a daughter. However, in Love 4 A Walk Chapter 49 we realize things aren’t that serious and Ann is dramatic, like REALLY dramatic. Love 4 A Walk Chapter 49: The Whole Story!
Love 4 A Walk Chapter 49 begins with Pam getting shocked after learning Bernard has a daughter and she screams, “Emergency sleepover! NOW!” After getting ready with ice cream, sheet masks, and pajamas, they sit down for some girl time. With a lot of concern, Pam asks if her friend is feeling better and Ann replies positively. Upon asking how it feels to learn about his daughter after living together for some time. To which Ann replies, that she already knew about it. (GIRL WHAT!?) On top of that, she says, “Oops, forgot to tell you, sorry!” Rightfully Pam asks, “So why all the theatrics? I’m spending the expensive masks on this, you better have a good reason!”
Ann finally opens up saying Bernard wants her to meet his daughter. Excited, Pam says it’s a good thing but apparently her friend thinks it’s a bad idea. Finally, Ann decides to tell her the full story. (Spoiler: It’s extremely dramatic!)
Bernard’s Story
Apparently, it was a starry night when Ann met Bernard. Their eyes met in the crowd and he welcomed her to his palace with a delicate drink. Pam interrupts her saying, “I was there and that’s not how it happened-” Ann replies, “Shhh! Shut up, I’m the storyteller here!” She continues, “Even though our bodies were burning with passion under the full moon, he went like, “No! Wait, this isn’t a ‘one-night thing’ for me, that’s why I want you to know me just the way I am!” Holding Bob’s paws Ann continues her drama, expressing how Bernard wanted her to know him completely. This makes Pam wish Tyler was like Bernard.
Bernard and his ex-girlfriend had their daughter and although it was not a planned decision, they did their best to raise their child. Back then he decided to open the Redwood Cocktail Bar to combine their schedules and give their daughter the time she needs. However, things didn’t go as planned and they decided to split up when their daughter was very young. Even after their breakup, they shared an amicable relationship however, a few years ago she got married which led to Bernard and her daughter spending less time together.
After listening to everything, Pam praises Bernard for opening up to Ann in the very beginning. Her friend replies positively saying he would do anything to protect his daughter. However, now the problem is his daughter to coming for two weeks on her summer break, so Bernard wants Ann to meet her.
Ann And Bernard
Pam thinks it’s a great opportunity for Ann to meet Bernard’s daughter. On the other hand, Ann is cooking up a fantasy world in her mind where she is the villainess-esque stepmother. And, in the history of human existence, no stepmother was ever loved and admired. Pam can’t help but admit, “I think you’re the one who has a problem with the concept of a stepmother here.”
Ann accepts that she never wanted to be a mother. Moreover, Bernard’s daughter is a teenager. She makes her understand that she already has a mother, she doesn’t need Ann to be her mother. Sooner or later, she will meet Bernard’s daughter so why not now? And, there’s no way she won’t like Ann – Ann is amazing.
At the bar, Bernard is weeping to Tyler, “And after asking her to meet Camila, she went pale and left the apartment.” He is worried if Ann and Camila don’t get along then they will eventually have to break up. And, Tyler is clearly not the right person for this conversation. Bernard keeps talking to himself about how Ann is the one for him and he knows it the moment he meets her. At that moment, Pam and Ann enter the bar. Ann begins to apologize saying she got scared and she wants to meet Camila. Tyler thanks Pam for arriving at the right time. He begins to compare Ann and Bernard’s situation with theirs when they first met. Love 4 A Walk Chapter 49 ends with Ann screaming, “Not the same! Dogs are not kids!”Â
