After turning into a werewolf, Kody fights with the golden werewolf to keep himself and Lumine safe. Lumine holds off the werewolf, and they end up fleeing. However, a witch’s magic ends up building walls around the characters. This leads to the golden werewolf catching up to them, but the witch puts an end to the fights, revealing herself as Kody’s mother.
Now, for the upcoming Lumine Season 3, fans are hoping that the series won’t come to an abrupt ending. They are expecting at least 20 episodes. On January 16, 2024, Kaburion (aka Emma Krogell), the creator of Lumine, addressed the possibility of another Lumine season on her Twitter and Instagram handles. She confirmed that she is currently working on the last episode. But unfortunately, she also confirmed that the fan-favorite webtoon is coming to an end. Now, after a long hiatus, a plethora of rumours, and anticipation, Lumine is finally coming out on September 7th or 8th, based on the readers’ timezone.
Kaburion’s Possible Next Comic Sirius of Earth
For the fans who are sad about Lumine’s ending, Kaburion also has another webtoon coming up. In January, she posted the prologue of her upcoming project, “Sirius of Earth.” Not only the prologue, she also shared a sneak peek of Chapter 1, titled “The Lone Dog.” The story follows, “Humans have left Earth, leaving behind a group of genetically modified dogs to guard one of their labs until they return. Years go by, and only one dog remains alive, still dutifully waiting for the humans return.”
