Mucku
In Castle Swimmer Chapter 43, a mysterious octopus person appears where the mini-god had vanished earlier. As she spots Kappa, she muses that he is some sort of “crab compass,” always showing up wherever the crab is. But Mono brings the bad news that there is no crab. Kappa wonders why they’re trying to catch a mini-God. Before giving any details, Mucku claims they have a question for him, and he agrees to assist in any way possible. Nonetheless, she quickly reminds him that he is their captive and outlines their intention of taking him to their queen.Â

In chapter 44, Mono and Mucku bring along Kappa as they search for their queen. Every step creates suspense over what will happen to Kappa, at whose power lay his fate. Suddenly, Queen Nethimir appears with all her regality, commanding attention immediately. She wants to know how close her witches are to catching the crab, but Mucku informs her that they failed.Â
Mono then hands over the crab compass, surprising the Queen. The moment she sees Kappa, she recognizes him as the Beacon. Mono and Mucku are also shocked to learn that their crab compass is none other than the Beacon himself. The air gets tensed as he asks what the matter is, but none of them answer.
As they prepare to leave, Kappa is suddenly pulled in one direction, confirming his status as the crab compass. Mucku uses this opportunity to explain how he can lead them to the mini-gods. Kappa instead tries to convince the witches that there’s a prophecy about the crab and that he could be able to help them out. Queen Nethimir asks what he gets in return since witches do not do favors. He requests, “I want to be an Evil Witch.”
Chapters 45 to 48: Kappa’s Dream And Siren’s Determination
Castle Swimmer Chapter 45 opens up with a surprising reaction from the evil witches when they hear Kappa wants to be one of them. The Queen asks, “Why would a Beacon want to be an evil witch?” He speaks earnestly, expressing his longing to relinquish his beacon duties and put an end to prophecies. He explains that becoming an evil witch will enable him to say no to people; thus, he will keep his promise to someone who brought change. The Queen picks Mucku to teach Kappa wickedness. Mucku is so excited that she accepts the offer and says, “I will turn this tiny boy into a cruel and terrible fiend. There is some evil blood in this shiny body somewhere.”Â
On the other hand, Prince Siren asks for a meeting with the Elders Council, wanting to stop this hateful curse once and for all.
