My Lucky Strike Chapter 55 begins with Siru bidding Cheong a warm goodnight. She is heading home, only to face a harsh reality—her bank account is bone dry. Rent and life in general are closing in fast, which she can’t afford. She thinks of seeking the assistance of her mother, but dismisses the idea immediately. She will be told the agonizing condition of having to work with her elder sister, Jabin. Siru is stubborn and prideful. She thinks she will solve the situation herself without asking for any help.
In the meantime, TA Jiho is jogging when his friend just happens to swing by his apartment. Well, a huge luxurious apartment. His friend mocks him about being a secret rich kid. Jiho dismisses the remark, but a hoodie is seen to be something missing. Money stashed away inside supposedly to be the dry-cleaning fee that he owes Siru. He shoots her a message, feeling guilty.
Siru shows up the following day at the office of Jiho to claim the money, which she desperately needs. Again, this comes as a surprise to both Jiho and his snooping friend. The friend smirks and says, “She is into you.” Jiho nervously tries to shake off the idea that is now planted in his head. On their way downstairs, Siru is trying to keep her cool, and Jiho is wondering awkwardly– “Could she actually be interested in me?”. Naive Siru, however, does not have a clue about what is happening in his mind.
My Lucky Strike Chapter 55 ends with a mix of awkward charm, mutual misunderstanding, and the quiet start of something possibly new.

My Lucky Strike Chapter 56: Blushes and Mixed Signals
My Lucky Strike Chapter 56 begins with Cheong and Gukhwa sweating it out on the basketball court. Gukhwa lightly mentions the harsh truth of being financially independent. He confesses that leaving the support of the parents is to earn your own money. Cheong was confused as to why such a topic had risen out of nowhere. Gukhwa questions whether he is ready to become an adult at all and admits that he still has no idea about how to become an adult. They even chose to carry on with this existential conversation during dinner. The boys then decide to wait for Siru as she said she would be late for dinner.
In the meantime, Jiho surprises Siru by taking her to dinner. She is clearly caught off guard by this grand gesture. Gratefully, she thanks him for his actions, unable to decline food. She says he was a great help to her in her design contest. Jiho’s ears turn red, and she hopes that she does not fall in love with him. (Something that he perhaps does not mind much?) Later, when he is driving her home, he confesses about his life at work and that his uncle is a professor, under whom he was a TA. Siru compliments him by saying,” I think you are a great person”. This revelation instantly puts Jiho in panic mode. Nervously, he wonders whether she is confessing her feelings to him right now.
Blushing Roads
Siru, in her mind, feels small beside the cool and confident personality of Jiho. He drops her off. As she is leaving, she informs him that he should not be so formal when texting her. Yet again, this leaves him gripping the wheel in nervousness. She is about to walk off when she sees Cheong and Gukhwa cooling off nearby and enjoying ice cream like a rom-com ending. My Lucky Strike Chapter 56 ends with all three of them awkwardly locking eyes, with Cheong and Gukhwa wondering—what the heck just happened?

With Jiho catching unexpected feelings and Cheong quietly observing from the sidelines, things are about to get even messier for Siru. Will she understand who she desires?
