Yeong-Gi looks around and asks if she’s, okay? Another woman says dismissively to Shin-ae, “Girl, get some concealer. You’re painful to watch.” Shin-ae shyly replies, “Thanks for the advice”. Realizing her mood, Yeong-Gi apologizes, saying he’ll be right back. He approaches two friendly ladies nearby and asks them to borrow some makeup for his friend who had to rush to the event unprepared.

I Love Yoo Chapter 49 ends when Yeong-Gi returns. He finds that Shin-ae doesn’t know how to apply makeup. Trying to calm Nol down, Kousuke’s mother (Mrs. Hirahara) also says, “How long has it been since you last visited us? Let’s have dinner together.” This conversation subtly reveals that Mrs. Hirahara is Mr. Hirahara’s second wife.

Meanwhile, in another part of the story, Sang-Chul is seen flirting with Yoo, making it obvious that she is uncomfortable. “Yoo don’t like me?” he asked. Then Yoo, on the other hand, is only there to grab some refreshments and explains, “Yeah, this is for my friends and me.” Sang-Chul then says that Yeong-Gi has already left, making things even more awkward for Yoo.
