The gang spent all night looking for her, and the next day she bumps into Kade while trying to get on her ship. He persuades her to stay and that he will be his Zay no matter what. Having made up her mind, Zay moves back in with him (which results in LOTS OF Kade and Zay moments). Meanwhile, Kade and Cherri get into a misunderstanding due to her brother, Cannon. The two sort it out and talk it out, revealing a side of Cannon that Cherri never knew. She finds out the truth about Zay and loves her all the more for it.
What Happened In Chapter 214?
In the previous chapter, Cannon sees Cherri coming out of Kade’s car and is shocked. In Down to Earth Chapter 214, Cherri goes in to find her brother sitting inside. He immediately tells her that anything Kade told her is a lie. Cherri, shocked, remembers the memory she had seen in Kade of Cannon beating him up. She gives her brother one last chance to come clean, but he storms off. Feeling overwhelmed, she wonders whom she can trust.
The next scene shows Kade, Suzy, and Stace at work. Suzy admires his new hair color and says it suits him. He notices Kade, and he admits to worrying about Cannon and what he would do. As he panics, both Suzy and Stace put a hand on his shoulder and reassure him they are there for him. Suzy suggests they all go somewhere to let loose, and Stace is happy to find he is a part of the ‘all’. Meanwhile, at home, Kade’s mother decides to drop by and is disappointed to find his car missing. She notices the light in the living room and perks up at the thought of Zaida being home. She goes in, enthusiastic to see Zaida’s reaction to a gift she got her, concluding Down to Earth Chapter 214.
Down to Earth Chapter 215: Kade’s Mother Drops By
In Down to Earth Chapter 215, Kade is at work, being nice to customers, and Stace asks if Zaida probed his brain or something. He recalls the way he changed and tried to be better. Kade thanks him and checks his phone to find his mother’s message from twenty minutes ago saying she’s dropping by, and he bolts immediately.
Reaching home, he slams open the door to find his mother with a present in the living room. He asks about Zay, and his mother says she locked herself in the room. Worried, she asks what’s going on, and Kade pretends to be as clueless as her. His mother, shocked, asks if he turned her into a recluse like him and tries the bedroom door again. She uses a card and opens the locked door. Kade warns her not to go in there and yells, “THERE ARE DIRTY BOOKS OPEN ALL OVER”. His mother, glaring, reminds him she cleaned his room when he was in high school and that she’s seen it all.
She opens the door and sees Zay on the floor, picking up gems that are strewn over. She turns around, no horns visible, and apologizes to his mother, saying she was trying to clean the mess she caused, concluding Down to Earth Chapter 215.
