In Down to Earth Chapter 115-124, Kade and Zaida share memories of their pasts and Zaida is terrified of what she saw in Kade’s memories. Unfortunately, Zaida finds herself doing a collab with Delilah, just as she dreaded it. These chapters reveal more about Delilah as a character and her strained relationship with both Zaida and Kade. Furthermore, Suzy gets back with her sister and the two catch up. Without any delay, let’s get into Down to Earth Chapter 115-124.
Delilah, Kade, And Zaida
Down to Earth Chapter 115: Opening Up
In Down to Earth Chapter 115, Zaida asks to see memories of Delilah being nice to Kade. Flustered, he asks why she wants to know them now and comments on how she’s good at eavesdropping. Zay says she wants to learn more about him. She wants him to be comfortable in opening up with her so that she can help him more. Kade counters by saying the same applies to her too and that he doesn’t know anything about her past. As he says they both need to work on opening up, Zay leaps onto him and touches their forehead, showing a memory of hers.
Zaida, a toddler, is on the roof of her house, watching small flowers flying about in the wind. Picking one up from the ground, she lets it fly again, thinking how she too wants to fly so as to fit in. She pulls away from Kade, and he asks her if that is Zodia. Zaida says she had realized her life was different from other Zodians in that memory. He watches her, then slowly brings his forehead to hers.
The memory shows Kade and Delilah on a date at the waterpark, him admitting to his fear of waterslides. Delilah, initially complaining, assures him they need not go in the slides and comes up with a better idea. She takes him to the back of the washrooms, a secluded area, and pushes him up against the wall. He panics and says he has no prior experience in anything and Delilah admits it’s her first kiss too. Down to Earth Chapter 115 ends with her leaning close into him.
Chapter 116: Toxic!!
Down to Earth Chapter 116 shows Zay pushing Kade away just before Delilah and Kade kiss in his memory. He asks her what’s wrong and Zaida, not facing him, says she asked to see Delilah being nice to him and not what she just saw. She admits Delilah not forcing him on the slides was fine but it wasn’t enough proof. He notices Zay avoiding eye contact but does not push it. Thinking for a while, he then shows her another memory.
Delilah gets the answers to a test and shares it with him, asking him to return it before school ends. Zay breaks off from the memory and asks why she didn’t make another copy for him. He then shows her another memory of Delilah defending him from bullies, back when they were friends. The memory fades and Zay is about to tell Kade what it means if he cannot think of a memory where she is nice to him. Just then he interrupts her and shows another memory.
It’s their one year anniversary and Kade gifts Delilah a teddy bear. Delilah, apologizing, says she had forgotten and orders a flower vase for him. He thinks to Zay, “She has tried”. He then shows her a flash of Delilah apologizing for not bringing her wallet and saying, “The guy is supposed to pay anyway”. The next one shows Delilah asking him to hold her coat and purse at a mall. He loses control of his memories and a whirl of them appears. Delilah takes Kade’s phone and deletes all his contacts, saying she’s the only friend he needs, Delilah asks him to stop talking since it’s annoying. Zaida breaks off the stream, traumatized by what she saw, while he smiles and apologizes.
Down to Earth Chapter 117: A Rarest of Rare Occasion
In Down to Earth Chapter 117, Zaida tries to act fine and asks Kade to take her back to Suzy’s. The moment she reaches Suzy’s home, she dashes into the bedroom, wrapping herself in a blanket and curling up. Suzy, surprised, goes over to her and asks Zay to spill. Zaida tells her how he had shown her memories of Delilah when she asked. She gets up from the bed, tears streaming down her face, and says it was terrifying.
Zay explains how she relives a memory whenever she uses telepathy, making her experience first-hand what he showed her. She tells Suzy about him saying he cannot remember properly and insisting Delilah was a good person. Suzy asks how Kade was feeling in his memories and Zay explains how he always saw Delilah sparkling beautifully even when she was awful to him. Suzy comes to the conclusion that he is in denial and says they cannot help him unless he’s honest with himself. Zay then asks if she will ever have to work together with Delilah and the other girl assures her that is a rarest of rare occasions and that it won’t ever happen.
The next scene shows Zaida at the photobooth and Stace pleasantly announcing the happening of a rarest of rare occasions. Down to Earth Chapter 117 ends with Delilah introducing herself to Zaida, expressing her pleasure at working together.
Chapter 118: “My Kade”
In Down to Earth Chapter 118, Zay tells Stace how she’s nervous about working with Delilah. He soothes her and says she will be paid a lot for her work. Zay tries to cheer up and thanks Stace, making him blush. She then heads to the make-up room and sees Cherri, surprised to see Delilah.
As the two get their makeup done, Delilah suggests getting to know each other more. She asks questions about Zaida’s place and where she grew up. Zay pauses and says she grew up in this town. Delilah then asked which school she had attended since she didn’t see her in their school. Cherri notes Zaida is uncomfortable and tells Delilah to not ask personal questions. Delilah then asks about Zay’s hair color and Cherri decides to change the topic. Cherri tells her that Zaida is best friends with Kade, making Zaida freeze. Down to Earth Chapter 118 ends with Delilah, shocked, asking ‘My Kade?’
Chapter 119: Confidence
Down to Earth Chapter 119 shows Cherri and Zaida surprised at Delilah saying, “My Kade”. Cherri recovers first and says yeah. Delilah is about to ask how Kade and Zay met when Zaida announces she has to potty. She apologizes and excuses herself.
In the next scene, the two are getting their photos shot by Stace. He stops halfway, noticing Zay’s awkwardness, and asks her to be more confident. He asks her to think of something that angers her and thinks of overcoming it. Zaida thinks of Kade’s memories of Delilah and confidence flows in her, outshining Delilah.
Once the shoot’s over Cherri compliments Zay and, away from them, Delilah tells Stace “The new girl is good when she tries”. Delilah then overhears Cherri and Zaida talking about going for lunch and Down to Earth Chapter 119 ends with Delilah asking to join them.
Down to Earth Chapter 120: A Lunch With Stace
Down to Earth Chapter 120 opens with Zaida, panicking, telling the two she had made plans with Stace and rushing off. Delilah then asks Cherri if Zay seems weird to her, which Cherri brushes aside. Delilah then remembers the conversation she overheard between Stace and Kade. She wonders about what’s going on between the three of them.
Zaida goes over to Stace and asks if they could have lunch together. Shocked, he readily accepts the invitation. They head over to a restaurant and Zaida thanks him. He asks if they could hang out more often and she says she would love to do so but requests Stace to be nice to all of her friends including Kade. Stace grumbles at that but then says, “Anything for you, Miss Zaida”
The next scene shows Kade and Suzy working and seeing Stace too cheerful and glowing. He asks if Suzy knows what’s up with their manager and she says Zaida had asked him out for lunch. Down to Earth Chapter 120 ends with him surprised Zaida had done so.
Chapter 121: Jealousy
In Down to Earth Chapter 121, Kade and Zaida are on the bed, lying on their stomachs. Kade reading his manga while Zaida is sketching. He notes how good Zaida smells and the warmth radiating from her. Zay suddenly turns her head towards him, their faces too close together, and the two turn away simultaneously. Kade asks what she was trying to do and Zay says she was getting a better look, confusing him. He then asks the reason behind Zaida going to lunch with Stace.
Zay, not wanting to mention Delilah, says she just felt like it. He goes quiet at that and Zaida asks why they dislike each other. He says Stace is good at pissing him off and Zay hopes the two reconcile. She falls asleep a while later and Kade looks over at her drawing. He admires the drawing she had made of him, with a caption of ‘Red Dwarf’. The scene shifts to Delilah, going through the comments of her and Zaida’s posts. The public loves Zaida and says how Delilah got outshined. Down to Earth Chapter 121 ends with Delilah getting pissed off at that.
Down to Earth Chapter 122: Sara
In Down to Earth Chapter 122, Kade and Suzy are working together. Suzy asks about Ethan and not seeing him often when Kade notices a girl very much like Suzy. Suzy freezes at the sight of her sister and, as a reflex, hides under the table. He asks if he should approach her but Suzy, mustering up the courage, goes over herself. As she goes, Delilah comes up to him and asks if they can talk.
Suzy goes over to her sister and says hi. Sara, seeing her sister, cries and hugs her. Suzy cries too and hugs her sister, exclaiming how much she misses her. Suzy asks how Sara found her. Sara says she had been following her online and saw her modeling for Spender’s. She says how Suzy makes an amazing model, making Suzy glad to know her twin isn’t mad at her. Sara explains she is disappointed in their parents, for pushing Suzy to run away, and never in her.
Delilah asks Kade if he is seeing someone currently, making Kade go silent. He turns his head away and says no, asking why she would ask that. Delilah apologizes and says she just wanted to know how he’s doing. She expresses the need to break the tension between them. Down to Earth Chapter 122 ends with Delilah inviting him for lunch with her.
Chapter 123: Identical Twin
Down to Earth Chapter 123 starts with Kade comprehending what Delilah just asked him. He rejects her offer, apologizing, and saying it’s not a good time. Delilah, trying to be calm, says that’s fine and that she understands. Kade then heads to work and the moment she too walks away, she thinks how embarrassing that was.
The next scene shows Zaida, Kade, Sara, and Suzy at the Japanese restaurant. Sara introduces herself as Suzy’s identical twin and Zaida asks what that means. He explains to her before noticing Sara’s confused expression. He quickly says Zaida is new to English at which Sara asks what Zay’s first language is. Suzy subtly changes the subject to Zay being a model for Spender’s too and opens Spender’s latest post to show Sara. Zaida tries to stop her but fails. Down to Earth Chapter 123 ends with Suzy and Kade finding out Zaida had a collab with Delilah.
Down to Earth Chapter 124: Tough Times
In Down to Earth Chapter 124, Sara leaves, saying her goodbyes and Suzy hugs her tight, exclaiming how much she misses her. She then asks Sara if she should go to their parents to which Sara hesitates, before shaking her head. As they talk, Zay pulls Kade away, knowing the sisters need space. After a moment, he asks Zay about her collab with Delilah. He asks if she talks about him to which Zay says no and that it’s very awkward for her. Zaida, helpless, asks him what she should do. Kade says he doesn’t know either, but holds her hand and assures her she got this. She then asks him if he knew Delilah would model for Spender’s and if that is why he works there. Surprised, he says he would have stayed at MallMart if he knew that.
The next scene shows Zay at the photo booth. Delilah, surprisingly, is nice to Zaida. Opening doors for her, giving her water and even scolding an artist for making Zaida wear a tight outfit. Delilah asks to play with Zay’s hair and is interrupted by Cherri. Down to Earth Chapter 124 ends with Zay giving a silent cry for help.
