Castle Swimmer Chapter 126: New Journey of Kappa and Siren
Castle Swimmer Chapter 126 begins with a time jump, revealing that two months have passed since Kappa and Siren suffered severe injuries. During this time, both have been recovering physically and mentally. This chapter is one of their milestones, as Siren finally confides in Kappa what he learned in the Godmouth concerning prophecy.
First, Siren explains how there is still a mini-god somewhere in this world that continues to maintain a curse on his kind. His second revelation is more terrifying: he can’t escape its curse unless he gets rid of their prophecy. Otherwise, the prophecy would restore it, hence perpetuating suffering.
In the next scene, Queen Nethimir tells them that their heart magic has had two months to sync with their emotions, and hopefully, these connections are strong enough to be their life force. This stage sets a test– whether or not they own the hearts.
Castle Swimmer Chapter 127: Orakos
Castle Swimmer Chapter 127 begins with a new character named Orakos, who arrives at the Shark Castle asking about the Beacon. Susca comes forward to confront him and ask his identity and why he believes the Beacon is here. Speaking as a traveler, Orakos assures them he is not harmful. She tells him they don’t know where the Beacon is because he is no longer in the castle. To confirm whether this is true, Orakos brings out an instrument-like thing that seems to tell when someone is lying. After some time, he is confirmed that they are honest, thus preparing to go away.
But at his departure, Orakos overhears someone calling him. When he turns back, two more people claim to have followed him for a long time. Within seconds, these other individuals mount an assault on Shark Castle that dramatically changes the mood from high anxiety to open hostility by threatening destruction unless the Beacon is located. Orakos tries to calm things down, confirming that there isn’t any beacon here and asking them to leave peacefully, but they don’t listen.
Skiff stops Orakos as he’s about to leave and asks why he wants the Beacon. In response, he asks Skiff if he has some knowledge of Kappa but doesn’t pressure him into saying more. Castle Swimmer Chapter 127 ends with this note, leaving readers with countless questions and an intense curiosity about Orakos’s identity and relationship with the Beacon.
Chapter 128: Tests
Nethimir looks at their connection to the Octalian hearts in Kappa and Siren, which proves tenuous. This revelation makes their situation all the more dangerous since none of them have entered into a permanent bond with their hearts.
Kappa calls for clarification from Nethimir regarding “any one of us,” pointing out that neither Siren nor himself knows anything concerning magic-wielding. However, Nethimir responds by telling them something even more shocking: Octalian magic reacts to strong emotions such as rage and despair. Moreover, Nethimir admits she cannot help if her friends become emotional because this might trigger magic within themselves, thus making them realize how important it is to understand what they do. The chapter concludes positively when they decide to visit Queen Nee before embarking on their next quest to Kelp.
Chapter 129: Queen Nee’s Castle
A lot is at stake at the opening; as they approach the Castle’s entrance, a voice calls out to Siren, taking them by surprise. Both turn around and see Pagoon. Straightforwardly asking where those evil witches are without any beating around the bush, he adds some spice to their meeting. Siren tells him that he was told by these witches themselves they would be watching from afar. This encounter sets the pace for subsequent occurrences, where Siren walks in with Pagoon while Kappa remains outside, accompanied by Worm.
In the interior of the Castle, the reunion between Siren and Pim turns out to be a lighter and more hopeful affair. It is revealed that Pim and Pagoon have been training Queen Nee’s guards. By the end of Castle Swimmer Chapter 129, Siren meets King Whisk, Queen Jengu, and King Tunny.
Chapter 130: Queen Nee and Krilli
Castle Swimmer Chapter 130 opens with a heated argument between Siren and King Tunny when he starts to speak ill about Kappa. This casual slur made Siren hold Tunny’s hand tightly, and then Pagoon comes into the picture and says that Siren is Kappa’s boyfriend. Realizing his mistakes, the king apologizes and leaves quickly.
During this time, Queen Nee and Krilli arrive with joyous faces at the sight of Siren, revealing deeper bonds among these characters. Nevertheless, such lightheartedness soon answers questions surrounding Kappa’s last visit. He asks them what happened during Kappa’s previous visit. Queen Krilli describes how the beacon initially appeared extremely distraught, then started trembling before passing out completely at the end of his visit.
Castle Swimmer Chapter 131: Pagoon’s Emotions
In the opening of Castle Swimmer Chapter 131, Siren tells Queen Nee and Krilli about all his adventures. The tales are packed with excitement and courage but also reveal that he shoulders a heavy burden. Afterward, Siren heads over to Pim and Pagoon’s place, where Pim asks him if he plans to go out again. Siren confirms that they will be leaving shortly.
Pagoon wants to know where they are going since he has gotten attached to Siren. Before he can answer, Pim reveals that this is their home now, and neither she nor Pagoon will be going with Siren anymore. Instantly annoyed, Pagoon runs off, hitting rocks in frustration. Venting anger, he meets Kappa, who is crying. Fearing for his friend, Pagoon immediately offers to avenge any harm done to him, but Kappa reassures him that no evil people are involved. Instead, he admits to believing that being with Siren at this place could help him.
Sensing the seriousness of Kappa’s feelings, Pagoon asks what is troubling his mind. By the end of Castle Swimmer Chapter 131, the Beacon tells Pagoon everything, making him the custodian of his secret.
Castle Swimmer Chapter 132: Comforting Kappa by Pagoon
Castle Swimmer Chapter 132 begins with Pagoon comforting a disturbed Kappa. He shares his experiences and how much his mother sacrificed for him to have such a life today. This vulnerability exposes Pagoon’s personality while creating an emotional bond between the two. Siren’s arrival changes the mood of the situation.
At this point, Pim also comes into the picture and apologizes to Pagoon for deciding something important without him. Pagoon accepts her apology in his response and says they can continue staying but adds, “When I am older, I will go where I want.” The chapter concludes on a calm note that allows readers to feel the emotions of its protagonists even after they have finished reading it.
