The scene shifts back to the present, where Mabel sleeps peacefully, the emperor by her side, concluding Baby Tyrant Chapter 13.
Chapter 14: Genius Brother
Baby Tyrant Chapter 14 begins with Mabel waking up from her sleep, still reeling from the vivid dream she had. As she turns around, she’s surprised to find her father sleeping beside her, having taken care of her all night. Estevan, who had been napping, wakes up and greets Mabel’s awakening with delight. Chapter 15: First Steps
In Baby Tyrant Chapter 15, Mabel is now eight months old and receives a check-up from the physician, while her nanny expresses concern that Mabel is not very active during the day. The physician assures her that the princess is healthy. The truth is, that Mabel is diligently working on moving her body at night when no one is watching. That evening, she begins her exercises and, after some effort, successfully stands up.
Meanwhile, the emperor is making his way toward Mabel’s room, eager to see her sleeping face. When he opens the door, he is stunned to see Mabel walking on her bed. Taken aback, he drops his lantern, caught off guard by the unexpected encounter. Equally surprised, Mabel realizes that someone has discovered her. However, her worries soon fade as Estevan expresses his pride in her accomplishments, calling her a genius. He dotes on her affectionately, leaving Mabel both nervous and flattered. He hugs and kisses her, and surprises her with the gift of the Principality of Visante.
The following day, the emperor attends an official meeting with various authorities. News has spread that the Demon of Devlin has returned to his homeland, and while some are fearful of the emperor’s reaction, they are taken aback to see him in high spirits. When asked about his cheerful demeanor, the emperor reveals that Mabel has taken her first steps, proudly calling her a genius. He announces the gift he has bestowed upon her, shocking everyone present, yet they accept it.
As the meeting concludes, the emperor plans to visit Mabel, despite his aide urging him to focus on work. Baby Tyrant Chapter 15 ends with a mysterious figure, Marquess Gardenia, requesting to see the princess.
Baby Tyrant Chapter 16: Meeting Grandfather
Baby Tyrant Chapter 16 begins with Marquess Gardenia requesting permission from the emperor to see Mabel. The emperor is hesitant to grant the request, but the Marquess is insistent. Eventually, the emperor tells him to submit a formal request, which the Marquess agrees to. It is disclosed that the Marquess is the father-in-law of the Emperor, and their connection is marked by a strained rapport.
Meanwhile, Mabel is practicing her walking with her caretakers when the Marquess enters her room accompanied by her nanny. Mabel feels a mix of curiosity and wariness toward him. The Marquess introduces himself as her grandfather, leaving Mabel surprised and babbling in response. His declaration brings tears to the Marquess’s eyes, and Mabel senses a feeling of déjà vu.
Elsewhere, Estevan is fidgeting in frustration, knowing that the Marquess is visiting their daughter. His aide, Gustaf, tries to comfort him, but the emperor coyly withdraws, leaving Gustaf to manage things in his absence.
