ToggleVampire Family Chapter 1: A New Beginning

Vampire Family Chapter 1 opens with two boys walking together in a school hallway when one suddenly freezes and starts to tremble for reasons he can’t explain. A chilling aura fills the air, and as the boys look back, they see her. A tall girl with an unreadable and dark presence passes them by, leaving nothing but unease in her stare. Later in class, the teacher announces the arrival of a new student. The boys hope for a cute classmate, but their hopes are shattered when the same ominous girl steps in. Her name is Natalia Dragomir, and with blank, piercing eyes and a silent aura, she immediately becomes the center of fearful whispers.
Behind her unsettling presence lies a truth, and that is Natalia belongs to a hidden family of vampires. Sheltered and isolated from humans her entire life, she has grown tired of a monotonous existence which was- wake, feed, sleep, repeat. Against her father’s wishes, she demanded to attend school because she longed for something more, and that was a chance to create precious memories.
But when she said those words to her classmates, they interpreted it as a threat rather than sincerity. She went to an empty seat at the back and noticed the boy beside the seat. Evangelo Dante. To Natalia, he feels like the first friend she might make, but what she doesn’t yet know is that Evangelo comes from a long line of vampire hunters. And so begins Natalia’s new life, where danger, destiny, and the clash between vampires and hunters are bound to collide.
Vampire Family Chapter 2: Misunderstandings On The Way

Vampire Family Chapter 2 begins as Natalia quietly settles into her seat, and the spotlight shifts to the boy beside her, Evangelo Dante. Born into a prestigious family of vampire hunters, his life has been a relentless cycle of training, combat drills, and lessons on how to spot and slay vampires. Every member of his lineage has proven themselves worthy except him. His initiation remains incomplete, for he has never killed a vampire on his own.
When Natalia entered the classroom, Evangelo felt a wave of dread. Her presence unsettled him, but he pushed aside the thought until he secretly snapped a photo of her. The result sent shivers down his spine because in the photo, her face did not appear, but only her glowing eyes. To him, this confirmed the truth that Natalia Dragomir was a vampire.
How Bad Can The Misunderstanding Be?
But Evangelo misread the entire situation. He believed she wasn’t just here to blend in, but rather, she must have discovered his identity as a vampire hunter and had come to target him. Tension knotted in his chest when Natalia suddenly placed her hand on his shoulder and gently called his name. He leapt out of his seat and was convinced that this was the beginning of his end.
In reality, Natalia only wanted to ask for help. Yet to Evangelo, this was an open challenge. He invited her outside as he was determined to seize this chance and finally slay his first vampire. The class, eager for drama, just quietly followed to watch from a distance. But what happened next turned his world upside down. Natalia stepped gracefully into the sunlight, which is something no vampire should survive, and drew closer. Looking into his eyes, she said that she accepts him as her lover. Vampire Family Chapter 2 ends here with the silliest misunderstanding of all time.
Vampire Family Chapter 3: Meeting The Family

Vampire Family Chapter 3 is where, for Natalia, this was the beginning of something new, and that is love. To her, high school was the perfect stage to experience this profound human feeling, and now that she believed Evangelo was her “lover”, she wasted no time in acting the part. She walked the halls with him, shared lunch by his side, even fed him food, and held his hand in class.
Meanwhile, Evangelo was drowning in disbelief. To him, Natalia’s every gesture wasn’t affection, but it was mockery. In his mind, she didn’t even see him as a worthy rival. The thought stung, and as he stared at himself in the restroom mirror, he laughed bitterly. Enough was enough. He would end this façade. He drew a wooden dagger from his coat, and he marched out and challenged her to a duel. But when he lunged, Natalia misunderstood again. She thought blushingly that he was coming in for a hug and tried to push him away gently. But her uncontrolled vampire strength sent him tumbling down the stairs, leaving him unconscious.
Introducing The Dragomirs
When Evangelo awoke, he found himself on a sofa inside a lavish mansion. Natalia, who was relieved, explained she had carried him home after the accident. Then, with an unusual seriousness, she confessed her secret that she was a vampire. Evangelo’s blank expression betrayed no surprise as he had known all along.
Before he could process further, a bizarre creature flapped overhead. It was a bat or perhaps a bear-bat hybrid, and Natalia casually called it “Mother.” If that wasn’t enough, her father soon entered the room and welcomed Evangelo warmly. With a smile, he acknowledged Evangelo’s wish to have “romantic involvement” with his daughter but insisted he must first know their family well. He introduced the Dragomirs, which included himself, his wife, Natalia, and her younger sister. The chapter ends here with Evangelo utterly and hopelessly confused.

Vampire Family Chapter 4: Fallen Disguise

Vampire Family Chapter 4 rewinds to the Dragomir household, where Natalia’s parents were discussing their daughter’s safety. Her mother worries about Natalia wandering the human world alone, but her father says that they must allow their child freedom. Their conversation was interrupted abruptly when Natalia burst in, dragging an unconscious Evangelo and shouting for help.
Lying on the sofa, Evangelo’s injuries look severe as there were fractures and bruises everywhere. At first, her father questions why they should risk exposing themselves to a mere human stranger. But Natalia pleads and insists that he isn’t just anyone. He’s her boyfriend. That word changes everything. Family is sacred to the Dragomirs, and by Natalia’s claim, Evangelo now counts as one of their own. Reluctantly, her mother uses her powers to heal him.
Act To Survive
When Evangelo regains consciousness, he is bewildered as to why Natalia would go to such lengths to save him. He demands to know why she keeps insisting on this “couple” idea. Natalia answers sincerely and says that she wants to experience love and that she knows he has the same feelings too. Evangelo is floored. All this time, he believed she targeted him for being a vampire hunter, but she simply… liked him?!
Cornered and desperate to survive, Evangelo decides to play along. He declares that he doesn’t care whether she’s a vampire or not because what matters to him is her. Natalia was deeply moved, and Evangelo excused himself to the bathroom. If he wants to make it out alive, he must keep up this charade of being her devoted boyfriend.
But his relief is short-lived. Natalia’s father confronts him directly by revealing a crucifix he found in Evangelo’s clothes, which had been inscribed with the chilling words: “Death to all vampires”. The truth is out. Evangelo realizes with a sinking heart that he may have just made his biggest mistake yet.
Vampire Family Chapter 5: An Escape

Vampire Family Chapter 5 picks up right where the last chapter ended, where Evangelo finds himself cornered by Natalia’s furious father. While demanding answers, the man accuses him of seducing his daughter under false pretenses. Evangelo panics and bolts down the hallway, but the vampire lord easily intercepts him and slams his face hard against the floor.
Meanwhile, in another room, Natalia talks with her younger sister, Diana, and encourages her to attend school too. Then comes the sound of some struggle echoing through the mansion. The sisters rush out to see the chaos, and they see their father towering over a battered Evangelo. Her father declares that he can no longer allow Natalia to roam the outside world and reveals to his daughter that her “boyfriend” is nothing more than a vampire hunter who deceived her.
But instead of recoiling, Natalia’s heart only beats faster. Even knowing what he is… he still loved me? This revelation only deepens her affection. Her father chains Evangelo, suspending him painfully with his hands bound apart, chest exposed, and ready to deliver the finishing blow. But just as he prepares to end it, Natalia interrupts by saying that their mother is upset and needs him immediately. Reluctantly, the father steps away, which leaves Evangelo alone with Natalia.
Evangelo braces for her wrath, convinced she’ll despise him now. But instead, Natalia approaches quietly. She raises her hand and, with one swift motion, shatters the chains holding him down. She whispers, “Let’s run away together.” The chapter closes here, where two enemies turned unexpected allies, but bound by secrets and a dangerous spark neither can deny.
Vampire Family Chapter 6: Living Together As Enemies

Vampire Family Chapter 6 opens with Evangelo escaping with Natalia. Her father heads to confront his wife, only to realize she never summoned him at all. Pulling back the curtain, Natalia’s father sees the truth, and that is, Natalia and the vampire hunter are fleeing together.
The unlikely pair makes it to the outskirts of the city. Natalia assures Evangelo that her father won’t follow them this far, but Evangelo can’t help but ask questions. Why is she betraying her own family for him? Her response was simple enough and maddening. She says that if he doesn’t care that she is a vampire, then why should she care that he is a hunter? To Evangelo, it’s foolish yet strangely disarming.
Natalia insists that they should go “home” to rest before school the next day. Much to Evangelo’s dismay, “home” turns out to be his own house. Inside, Natalia marvels at human furniture, especially the bed. Lying down on it for the first time, she coyly declares that she won’t enjoy it alone and wants him beside her. Embarrassed and overwhelmed, Evangelo opts for the safety of the sofa instead.
But sleeping brings him no comfort. He had a nightmare where Natalia leaned in to bite his neck, and this jolts him awake in terror. The house is eerily silent. Was she… gone? Was everything, including her, her family, the mansion, just some bizarre dream? Trying to shake it off, he heads to his closet to dress for school. But when he opens the door, a pale figure with blank eyes greets him sweetly from within. “Good morning, darling”, Natalia says.
