In the Singles’ Royale, a romance manhwa featuring three different women- Jurim, Chayeul, and Seona– on their misadventures in love, never fails to delight readers with laugh-out-loud worthy moments of hilarity and shell-shocking revelations that inspire drama. As each of the three friends competes for five hundred million won in a dating competition, relationships break, blossom, and grow (into a chaotic mess). Previously in Singles’ Royale, Seona agrees to go on a few trial dates with Hyunbin, her former student, to decide whether to date him or not. Meanwhile, Jurim acts as Dowon’s girlfriend to satiate his nosy mother. But when she becomes suspicious of their relationship, they’re forced to spend the night at a hotel together. What happens next? Let’s find out in Singles’ Royale Chapter 26!
Singles’ Royale Chapter 26: Card Games, Mind Games… the Whole Lot!

Singles’ Royale Chapter 26 begins as Dowon asks Jurim- intimately sandwiched between him and the wall- if he should take responsibility for being her first kiss. Stunned for a second, Jurim brushes past him, blushing fiercely. As he watches her go, Dowon can’t help but break into a grin.
Opening the door to their hotel room, Jurim gasps and immediately bounds towards the floor-to-ceiling windows. Pressing her face to the clear glass, she takes in the breathtaking view of the dazzling city. Shimmering like stars in space, the lights of the skyline seem almost ethereal in the night. “Do you like it?” Dowon asks, his face suddenly close to hers. Jurim flusters and spirals into an embarrassing corner of her imagination for a second before jumping away. What was happening? And how was she going to spend a whole night alone with him?
Hilly Gilly. That’s how!
Jurim rummages through her bag and brandishes a deck of ‘Hilly Gilly’ cards (apparently, she just carries them around with her). The rules of the game were simple: if you see five matching fruits across two cards, you ring the bell, and the fastest person wins. (Between this and the Singles’ Royale, she must be really into games.) At any rate, this simple card game would work to distract both of them.
Round 1: Both Jurim and Dowon press the bell at the same time, accidentally touch hands, and blush.
Well, it was worth a try.
A Criminally Perfect Boyfriend

As the game progresses, Jurim becomes determined to win. She was the Hilly Gilly Queen; she wouldn’t lose to some common amateur. Dowon flips his card, and Jurim raises her hand to ring the bell- “You’ve really never dated anyone?” Dowon abruptly asks, making Jurim freeze. He rings the bell- great, he’d distracted her from the game- and forges on. Was she really new to the dating scene? Is that why she’d tried dating apps and met up with a stranger at a bar (both of which ended horribly)? “It was just… because of a bet,” Jurim says with embarrassment.
Jurim explains the Singles’ Royale to Dowon, and he breaks into uncontrollable laughter. Incredulously, he calls the game a ‘pretty wild’ idea. Dowon curiously asks for more information about the competition, finding it ‘doable’. “So what sort of men are you into, Jurim?” he asks. Surprised, Jurim manages to choke out three adjectives- tall, handsome, and rich. Dowon looks deep in thought, then announces that he knows the perfect guy. He pulls up a picture on his phone and turns it for her to see.
Lo and behold, the perfect boyfriend- Dowon, the handsome, tall, rich man- flashes on the screen. Jurim rolls her eyes, but Dowon leans in sincerely, asking, “Wouldn’t I make a pretty great first boyfriend?” Meanwhile, on their first date, Seona nervously stares at the sight in front of her. Hyeonbin, handcuffed to the bed, awkwardly looks back (wait, what?), concluding Singles’ Royale Chapter 26.
