Ex-Love Review focuses on the chaotic love life of Giju Gong. We learn how she consistently has failed relationships with boyfriends named manipulator, abuser, and gaslighter. Standing at the brink of death, she gains a magical power – she can read reviews of everything and everyone. This power helps her not only to get out of an abusive relationship with Jimin An, but she also manages to punish him (punch him!) Now, the other main character who is clearly interested in Giju, Haeil Yeon, has a 0.5-star rating in the review meter, BUT he is admired and wanted by all!? Yes, we are as confused as you are, so let’s see what happens between Giju and Haeil in Ex-Love Review Chapter 10-11!
Ex-Love Review Chapter 10: Playwright Program

Ex-Love Review Chapter 10 begins with Giju Gong noticing the pop-up review in front of Haeil, “The following person is Haeil Yeon’s person of interest” – AND it’s a picture of Giju! She is pondering why the flash review was in front of her eyes out of the blue. Was it because her affection towards him at that moment went up? Shaking her head, she decides to snap out of the thought of Haeil. (Giju’s mantra: Keep it simple. Let’s just stay away from him.)
At that moment, Sangsun appears and sees Giju writing “Interest” on her plate. Upon asking what it means, Giju lies, saying it’s an assignment. Excited, she asks if it is for Professor Lim’s freshman mentorship program. (Note: Professor Lim is widely popular amongst the playwright students!) This steals Giju’s attention, and she asks if she joins this program, she will get direct feedback? Sangsun clears her misconception and explains how this is just a volunteering program where the seniors help the freshmen with assignments and adjustment in school. Giju remembers this is how she fell in love with Jihun. Thinking her friend is trying to pick up a guy, Sangsun starts to talk about a new freshman, but Giju quickly shoves the food inside her mouth.
Popularity of Haeil Yeon

With excitement in her eyes, Giju is sitting in the class waiting for Professor Lim to show up. She is happy to see a lot of students trying to be a mentorship program under this popular professor. However, lo and behold, the students are here for Haeil Yeon. (Who is surprised?) She hears murmurs from all around the classroom that they signed up as soon as they heard Haeil seonbae would be a part of this program. In her head, Giju imagines Haeil being the rich senior dude who will babysit the freshman students. And, think of the devil, and the devil enters. Turns out Haeil will be managing this program alongside Professor Lim.
Haeil starts taking the attendance of all the students. Seeing Giju’s name in the list, he approaches to shake her hand, but instead of her, Jua shakes his hand. While Professor Lim is discussing how each senior will help one freshman this year instead of multiple, the whole class is staring at Haeil. After the professor is done with the discussion, Jua approaches Haeil, asking him to treat them to lunch.
Giju Wants to Drop Out
Giju decides to drop out of the program. With all honesty, she confesses that she thought she would be able to get some feedback from him. As she steps out of the room, Haeil catches her off guard. He bluntly asks if she is dropping out because of him. Shocked, Giju doesn’t know what to say next. He continues saying, he is well aware of how Giju dislikes her, and it’s because he has seen her worst moments. Unable to hold back, she confesses that he makes her uncomfortable. Haeil points to her ring, asking if she still has feelings for Jimin. Pissed off, she screams it has nothing to do with Jimin, she paid for this ring but it has nothing to do with Haeil either. Ex-Love Review Chapter 10 ends with Haeil holding Giju’s hand, “Why not? I think it might have something to do with me…”
Ex-Love Review Chapter 11: Giju’s Type of Men

Ex-Love Review Chapter 11 begins with Jua interrupting Haeil and Giju’s conversation. (God knows what he was about to say…was he about to confess?) Giju takes away her hand. Jua mentions everyone was tired of waiting for seonbae and left. Haeil lies, “Oh, sorry, I wanted to bring Giju along, too, so I was just asking her if she wants to come.” Giju ends up tagging along with Jua and Haeil. Curious, Jua asks them if it’s true that people date during the mentorship program. Haeil says it has never happened with him. On the other hand, Giju tells that she met Beom seonbae through this program and fell head over heels at the sight of him reading.
As Jua leaves to receive the food order, Haeil asks if Giju is into men who read a lot. Giju explains it’s not about the quantity but the quality. She says since they know a lot, it’s easier to talk to them, BUT that’s not the only thing she looks for in a person. Suddenly, Haeil slips his hand and rests his head on the table, making Giju question if he is feeling unwell. He replies, “My head’s just a bit heavy from all the stuff inside it.” (Smooth, weird but smooth!)
Giju’s Anxious Date

Haeil’s classmate Gihyeon arrives with his prep academy mates at the same place. He asks if it’s just Giju and Haeil, since when did they get so close? Awkward, she points at Jua’s phone, hinting they are not alone. “Why would it be just the two of us?” Gihyeon presses, asking why that is such a big deal for her. Saving her embarrassment, Jua appears with the food. Seeing her, one of Gihyeon’s friends whispers into his ear. Turns out, they want to go for a double date. Jua agrees without a second thought. On the other hand, Giju hesitates, saying she isn’t looking for anything.
To convince her, Gihyeon touches her shoulder, making her feel uncomfortable. Suddenly, a blond guy affectionately holds his hand, making him feel awkward. “You weirdo, why did you just grab my hand like that?” Funnily, he replies, “‘Cause I like you, Hyeong, haha.” (He intervened on purpose!) Seeing his face, Giju learns his review is 5 stars. (Who is he?) Again, when Gihyeon asks about the double date, she agrees, shocking Haeil. She is not interested in dating anyone, but she can’t slip away with a 5-star rating.
In the next scene, Jua and Giju are on their blind date. Jua proposes that they should point fingers at the person who made the good first person. Ex-Love Review Chapter 11 ends with Giju pointing at her perfect blind date.
