Like Castle Swimmer and the recent BL manhwa Star Catcher, Osora is going to be remembered as one of the best queer webtoons ever. The intricate writing about not just the main characters but every character and backdrop in the webtoon is impeccable. In the recent chapters, Osora’s sister Celia learns about her brother’s secret affair with Arias. Her concerns regarding her brother’s emotions and the family’s reputation are valid. However, none of this makes the breakup easier for Osora. Will they actually end things in Osora Chapter 52? Or will they stick together and try to find a way out?
Osora Chapter 52: Scary Secret
Osora Chapter 52 begins with Celia asking if Osora loves Arias, which visibly upsets the prince and he starts sobbing. This makes his sister wonder how she has never seen Osora shed a tear even as a kid. She hugs her brother tightly, making Osora open up about his messy situation. He clearly states he is scared and he doesn’t know, but what if he loves him? The Sergos are already after them, and now if their own people find out about their secret relationship, they would want them dead. Despite all of this, “nowhere feels safe except being with him.”
Celia realizes her brother’s condition and feels terrible about how she didn’t understand it before. Being the eldest sibling, she tries to rationalize the current circumstances and advises Osora to protect Arias. She continues, “I know you don’t want to hear this, but if the two of you are caught, Arias will likely be killed.” Their father will try to protect him at Arias’s expense saying Arias forced him. Moreover, someone will likely discover Arias’s secret. And if they never get caught, what is the future of this relationship?
Celia reminds Osora about his fiance Princess Catalina. What will he do after their marriage in December? Will he continue this secret relationship with Arias? Would Arias be willing to live a life like that? She asks Osora to do what is right. He knows what the right thing is but it’s still difficult. Celia places her head on his shoulder and says she loves him no matter what he decides.
There Is No Future
Celia drags Osora to her room to cover up the marks on his neck with concealer. Before he leaves, she gives him something likely a medicine that prevents pregnancy. She gives him those as a precaution. Later, she meets Arias to conceal the marks on his neck as well. She admits that his marks were much easier to hide, but Osora looked like he was strangled.
Celia continues to speak about how everything makes sense now that she knows about the secret affair between Osora and Arias. She talks about how she always flirted with Arias but he never paid any attention to her – “I guess I’m really not your type after all.” Arias bluntly admits, “My type is your brother.” In the meantime, Osora enters, and a very giddy Arias greets him, “Hi baby!” This makes the sibling duo uncomfortable because they don’t know how to react. Unable to bear this affectionate environment, Celia decides to leave.
Arias asks Osora if he talked to Celia. He replies positively saying she won’t open her mouth about this. Arias asks if he would like to take a nap with him. On the one hand, Arias begins to kiss his neck; on the other hand, Osora is wondering how he should say no to all of this. Suddenly, Celia’s words play in his head about how he needs to protect Arias, and if he doesn’t Arias will likely die. Osora Chapter 52 ends with Osora saying, “Arias, I don’t want to do things like this with you anymore. Let’s end this.”
