ToggleCastle Swimmer Chapter 90: Five Prophecies
The tension begins in Castle Swimmer Chapter 90 with a conversation between Queen Nee and Krilli about Kappa’s worsening state. In line with this event, they feel like evil witches are acting against them, aiming to corrupt Kappa’s pure heart.
Once inside the castle, everything changes suddenly. The setting introduces diverse characters, each representing different factions who gather around their respective kings and queens. The arrival of the beacon – Kappa – seems to signal a pivotal moment, drawing these characters together.
Kappa emits five lights representing five prophecies, adding a layer of mystique and foreboding. Castle Swimmer Chapter 90 ends by introducing three key figures in grand style: King Whisk of the Whiskerfin clan, Queen Jengu of the Jellyla clan, and King Tunny of the Tuna clan. This excitement about fulfilling prophecies explains the importance of them coming together. Finally, their arrival and celebration highlight the climax of this chapter.
The Order of the Prophecy
Queen Nethimir starts her discussion with Mono and Mucku, expressing her concerns as she senses something wrong. She asks them to be vigilant over Kappa to clarify matters before they get out of hand. The tension rises quickly when different kings and queens from the undersea world, within their interests, push Kappa towards fulfilling their particular prophecies.
The situation takes a dramatic turn with the arrival of the Evil Queen. She enters in an imposing manner as she orders everyone away from Kappa lest she take him herself. Immediately, everything goes up a notch. Mucku and Mono intervene after asserting that complying with Queen Nethimir’s demands would mean Beacon’s survival is in the balance. Her declaration that the Beacon will listen to her adds an unpleasant atmosphere. This new sequence of events in which King Whisk’s prophecy comes first, followed by Queen Jengu’s and then King Tunny’s, will have enormous consequences.
The chapter ends with Queen Nee approaching Kappa for a private conversation, building up suspense about what happens next between them.
The Past Prophecy
Chapter 92 begins with Queen Nee questioning the witch’s intentions for Kappa. In the next scene, we see a flashback to when Kappa first arrived at the castle and met with Vinca, who helped him during his time there. It is revealed that their people are suffering from a terrible unknown sickness. It manifests in cross-like marks on the body, which grow bigger and bigger until they cover the body completely and finally become fatal.
Vinca shares a prophecy with Kappa, explaining that the Beacon can bestow one of his beautiful scales upon an afflicted person, which would cure them and save their life. Just as Vinca finishes her explanation, Kappa’s light suddenly awakens, drawing him towards a knife—a moment that ends the flashback on a dramatic note.
At present, Queen Nee and Nethimir are arguing. During this heatwave, Kappa shares his decision to fulfill the prophecy without delay.
Castle Swimmer Chapter 93: The Whiskerfin Prophecy
Castle Swimmer Chapter 93 opens with a tense yet intriguing moment: Queen Nee presents Kappa and the witches to King Whisk, instructing him to treat Kappa with kindness. When Kappa enters the presence of a monarch, he asks how true it is that his castles were destroyed on the day Queen Nee came without the Beacon. The king’s response is misleading, as he states that he is not cruel, but nature told him to be that day.
The Whiskerfin has been plagued by one unrelenting creature whose defeat was prophesied by the Beacon, and suddenly, it is before them. Kappa is shocked when he realizes this creature is relatively tiny and resembles a snake, which appears cute. Castle Swimmer Chapter 93 ends with the king’s scared reaction as more creatures emerge, revealing that the snake-like entity has multiplied into hundreds.
A Small Bargain
Kappa takes proactive measures to resolve a tense situation involving the creatures threatening The Whiskerfin. In his bid to find a peaceful solution, he approaches them, bearing his hair as an offering. He suggests they should leave the people of Whiskerfin alone, and he would offer them his hair to construct their houses. The creatures’ attitude changes with this sacrifice, stopping their attack and appearing relieved and grateful.
Kappa returns to the Whiskerfin people and explains that they will have to give up some hair occasionally, but doing so will eventually make the creatures abandon them forever. This solution makes people happy since they have been scared at first. They appreciate what Kappa did for them and joyfully celebrate his bravery.
In another part of the chapter, there is a flashback in which a young Kappa is shown struggling with pain while cutting off his scales with a knife. Vinca shows sympathy for his pain, saying that rather than taking them forcefully from him, he should offer the scales as voluntary gifts to the Queen. This moment emphasizes how much weight Kappa has put into his sacrifices and highlights some deep-rooted traditions within him.
Many memories flash through Kappa’s mind, overwhelming him with thoughts about what he has gone through and given up over time. But still being strong emotionally, he tells Mono that he needs to finish following the prophecy, signifying a commitment to his journey and duties.
Queen Nethimir’s Concern
Queen Nethimir sits down with Mucku to discuss how unhappy Kappa is because of prophecies, and she wonders if she should let him work through those feelings. Things heat up when Krilli confronts the Evil Queen alongside Queen Nee, offering their rare, delicious powder plants so that they can free Kappa. However, the Evil Queen declines, claiming she doesn’t like the smell of those plants. This angers Queen Nee, and she asks what they want. The chilling answer comes from Mucku and Evil Queen themselves—they want bones inside their bodies exchanged.
Seeing Mono and Kappa returning, Nethimir shifts her attention. At this point, Kappa announces that he has fulfilled King Whisk’s prophecy. And, what should have been a relief now becomes overshadowed by more despair. They are joined by Queen Jenga, who tries to persuade everyone to let Kappa leave with her.
Castle Swimmer Chapter 96: Predicting the Future
Queen Jenga asks Evil Queen to borrow Kappa, which marks the beginning of Castle Swimmer Chapter 96. Showing his helpfulness, Kappa agrees, and Mucku goes along so that she can keep an eye on him. When they reach the castle, some important prophecy is revealed to Kappa. The prediction says that the Beacon will use the Bringer of Truth to get wisdom from beyond. This revelation clarifies that the frog, the Bringer of Truth, has a central role in everything.
After foretelling future events that aim to prepare people for such times, Kappa realizes his part involves telling what might happen. Before Kappa can say more, Mucku jumps in with a mysterious statement about finding answers from the dark realm of spirits. She says the only person who can give them the information they need is a witch. This catches Kappa off guard and forces him to think fast. By the end of Castle Swimmer Chapter 96, he fakes it, pretending to be talking to invisible spirits.
