Refund High School webtoon is the perfect blend of an intense but light-hearted story, with amusing characters and an enigmatic setting. In the previous chapters of Refund High School, we saw the students all decked up to take part in the Red Eclipse Festival. We saw Mook contemplating his feelings for Aru. Unfortunately, there is a love triangle situation here, as we also see a spark between Aru and Jun. Meanwhile, Dante is planning mayhem in the shadows. So let’s jump onto the next chapters and find out what’s going to happen next.
Chapter 85: Who Kissed Aru?
Chapter 85 of the Refund High School webtoon begins with Jun and Beauty clad in stunning outfits. And our Aru Kim is stunned to see Jun looking like a quintessential Prince Charming. As the event is about to commence, the announcer explains the ‘Kiss Time’ event. It is more than just a simple act of affection, it is also an old tradition being passed on from the ancient demon kingdom. (Interesting! Let’s see what happens in this event!)
After seeing Aru, Sehui instantly pulls her and Mook aside for the dancing time. Gathering a lot of courage, Mook finally asks Aru for a dance. They are really ‘trying’ to enjoy the dance (the awkwardness is transparent) but unfortunately, the music changes, hinting that now they have to choose a different dance partner. Meanwhile, Waxy approaches Mari for a dance which she gleefully accepts. Sadly, Sehui and Sua are the only ones left with no partners.
Suddenly, the fire dogs are all up in the open sky, covering the moon, which is going to be the highlight of the Red Eclipse Festival. The significance of the festival is that the fire dogs only surface for this once in a thousand Underworld years.
Suddenly, the fire dogs have covered up the whole moon and Aru is wondering about the ‘Kiss time’. The announcer mentioned if one gets a kiss on the back of their hand when the fire dogs are covering the moon, the pair would end up together in their next life. While thinking about this, Aru feels a touch on her hand and a voice says, “Aru – I wish we could meet in our next life!” As she opens her eyes to see who kissed her hand, Jun is standing in front of her. (Why do I feel it was someone else?)
Refund High School Webtoon Chapter 86: Dante And Firedogs
Refund High School Chapter 86 begins with the entry of none other than Dante. He introduces himself to the two fire dogs, “I have a favor to ask of you!” Seeing his attitude, the two fire dogs want him to have the taste of his own medicine, but to their surprise, Dante gives them an even more powerful response, and now both fire dogs are screaming for their life. He continues, “Now you know what I want right? I want war!” The whole screen is now filled up with n number of red and black creatures. The chapter ends with them saying, “Outside is so refreshing! Then let’s start looking!” signalling that the infernal spirits are out.
Refund High School Chapter 87: Chiyeol Is Out!
Chapter 87 of the Refund High School webtoon begins with Jun approaching Aru, but suddenly she feels a sharp pang on her arm. As she lifts her hand, she realizes it’s from the wound by Cloudy. Jun is shocked to see this and speculates Aru’s pet is an infernal spirit. Suddenly, a loud noise grabs everyone’s attention, and the worst happens – All the internal spirits are out, and they are trying to catch the students, and the first victim is Waxy. Can you guess who wants to catch Waxy? Yes, you are right, it’s none other than Chiyeol. Mari tries her best to protect her friend but Chiyeol wins.
In the next scene, when the ethics teacher finds out about the situation, she decides to inform King Yemma. Meanwhile, King Yemma, Dicarius, and the Grim Reaper are offering gratitude and consolation to the ones who sacrificed their lives to save the Underworld from evil clutches. The chapter ends with the ethics teacher on a broomstick screaming, “Queen Yemma! Your highness! There are infernal spirits inside the school!”
Refund High School Chapter 88: Mari Saves Waxy
Refund High School Chapter 88 begins with Mari trying to take Waxy from Chiyeol’s grip. However, Chiyeol is not in the mood to spare anyone. He then takes Waxy to the same tree that Mari planted during the gardening activity and ties him upside down. While Mari is in the garden, the dripping wax from Waxy’s body helps her to find him. Her first thought was to look for a teacher but of course, no one is around. As she is looking for a way to rescue Waxy, her eyes fall on an axe.
Mari decides to cut the plant ,but her hard mind sprung with the memories of work behind growing this tree plays in the back of her mind. She shuns those thoughts saying, “It’s not important now.” With all her strength she cuts the tree and with a plop sound, Waxy falls to the ground. She is both shocked and emotional to see Waxy. Suddenly, the screen is all blank and the chapter ends with Waxy laying on Mari arm.
Refund High School Webtoon Chapter 89: Powerful Student Council Members
Chapter 89 begins with an infernal spirit attacking Jun and Beauty Kim appears like a savior. Later she also asks Aru about her arm wound. (I bet if Beauty was in the Harry Potter series, she would be a Gryffindor.) Jun asks Beauty to take care of Aru as he fights an infernal spirit, proving his strength and courage. However, as he defeats one infernal spirit, there is a bigger one behind him, and this time King Yemma saves him.
In the next scene, King Yemma and Dante are standing face to face. She asks what he wants and Dante replies, “I want you to turn them (fire dogs) back to their original shape.” She takes a moment of pause while he counts to 3 and shows her a memory capsule which then explodes, turning the fire dogs into large monsters.

Chapter 90: Aru Kim Is In Danger
Chapter 90 of the Refund High School webtoon begins with Cloudy worrying about Aru and the girls because Dante’s plan is in motion. He couldn’t hold back and ran to save Aru. After seeing Cloudy in the crowd, Aru jumps and hugs him. However, in the next scene, Dante points at Aru saying, “Found ya! The Bait! Go get her!”
Now, the fire dogs turned monsters are behind Aru, but thankfully, the Grim Reaper is here. He says, “I knew it was a mistake to let you out. You should have been locked up in the student detention center for all eternity.” Dante then blames Dicarius for everything, making him angrier. Finally, Dicarius decides to attack Dante. The chapter ends with a scratch on Dante’s face: “Finally! Time to take matters into my own hands!”
Refund High School Chapter 91: Dicarius And Dante
Chapter 91 of the Refund High School webtoon feels like scenes from some action movie where one scene is repeated multiple times. Dante refuses to be defeated as he moves from one place to another zapping. On the other hand, Dicarius is using all his strength to fight the monsters. With the help of the Grim Reaper, he defeats the monsters, but Dante is still as powerful as before and mockingly laughs at the whole situation.
Overall
When I say that Refund High School is a complete blend of action-to-light-hearted stories, I mean it. The fight scenes are depicted with stunning illustrations. It was a proper action-drama pack, for a moment I felt like I was watching a movie ha-ha! I can’t wait to read what happens next and how they will tackle it.
