Tower of God Season 2 Preview
Since the release of the Tower of God anime in 2020, rumors of the next installment have been on for years. Some fans wanted to know if Season 2 was canceled. Finally, two years later, Crunchyroll made an official statement about Tower of God Season 2 in 2022. The upcoming season will follow the anime from where Season 1 concluded by adapting the Tower of God Manhwa. Tower of God Season 2 Release Date
One of the most highly anticipated releases of 2024 has to be Tower of God anime Season 2. The show received a release date at the special premiere event at Crunchyroll’s Anime Expo 2024. After four years of waiting, Twenty-Fifth Baam will be back on the small screen.
According to X account @animetv_jp, Tower of God anime Season 2 will be out on July 6, 2024, in an exclusive premiere. The screening will include the first two episodes of Season 2, which is expected to adapt the highly anticipated arcs of the story. (Check the X post below).

The special premiere of Tower of God anime Season 2 will take place in the Diamond Ballroom, JW Marriott at 5:45 p.m. Pacific Time. We still don’t know when Season 2 will be out on Crunchyroll, but since the show received a July window, fans won’t have to wait for long. Stay tuned for more updates.
What is the Tower of God About?
Written and illustrated by SIU, Tower of God began in 2010. With its complex world-building and brilliant character growth, the narrative managed to gain popularity. The series follows the protagonist, Twenty-Fifth Bam, and the other main character of the story is Rachel. When Rachel enters the mysterious tower, Bam also enters the tower to find his friend. Besides the magical energy of Shinsu, this tower has a variety of groups and species, a caste system, and a hierarchy, and one can climb the rank ladder depending on one’s intelligence and strength.
The groups include the Regulars or the original citizens, the Rankers or governors of the average class, and the 10 Great Families, who are controlled by King Jahad. King Jahad struck a deal with the people of the tower years ago, and it is effectively immoral. On the other hand, Bam, being an outsider, is an Irregular and a threat to Jahad.
During his time in the tower, Bam forms a team to find Rachel and make his way to the top of the tower. His team includes Ram Wraithraiser, a spear-throwing, gigantic man with reptilian traits, and Khun Aguero Agnes, a member of the 10 Great Families who joined Bam solely because he found him fascinating.
Tower of God has been a popular manhwa for years. According to Webtoon, by 2015, Tower of God’s weekly installment had five million readers. Moreover, in 2013, the popular series extended its franchise with a mobile game on Google Play. The popular manhwa is ready to emphasize its mark with the release of Tower of God Season 2.
