What is Noblesse About?
Noblesse focuses on Cadis Etrama Di Raizel, aka Rai, and his time in the modern world. He is the titular noble vampire whose role is to execute his foes and protect the nobles. After his long sleep of hundreds of years, Rai wakes up in an unfamiliar world and finds the comfort of his servant Frankenstein. Frankenstein is the principal of Ye Ran High School, which is the perfect place for Rai to learn and blend in with the modern world.
As a Noblesse, Rai was not allowed by some vampires in his past because he had the power to judge them. This is one of the reasons why Raizel is admitted to this school, giving him some time until he is compelled to take matters into his own hands. As Rai and Frankenstein learn about the dangers of this world, Rai gains the aid of M-21 as he introduces the superhumans and the Union the association formed.

Should You Watch the Noblesse Anime Adaptation?
Both the anime and the ONA eliminated several plot points of the original manhwa. Noblesse: Awakening compressed 90 chapters into one episode of 31 minutes. The TV series adaptation also rushed through episodes 1 and 2 and roughly covered chapters 92 to 107. Many major characters are not in, while other characters are changed to the point they are non-recognizable. Due to all these major changes, fans of the webtoon series are disappointed with the adaptation. If you haven’t read the original webtoon, you’ll likely be perplexed by the adaptation. However, there is still enough reason to watch the Noblesse anime adaptation.
Cadis Etrama Di Raizel’s obliviousness regarding the unfamiliar modern world, his wonder for the human world, and his love for overdone ramen make him a likeable character. His surrounding characters such as his servant Frankenstein, a modified human he saved in the ONA, M-21, as well as Seira J Loyard and Regis K Landegre are equally likable. Viewers will see incredible character growth in of all them throughout the series.
