As Arias’s birthday hangover dies down, it’s time for some real talk. Quite clearly, Arias is curious to know if Osora’s sober self will behave just like last night. The prince of the Calaveras kingdom still feels immense love for his beloved and almost slips into the raw honesty of his affection and passion. However, the flashback of how he had to push him away, saying harsh words just to protect him and the kingdom, comes back to his hand. And instead of doing what she actually wanted to do, he apologizes for behaving the way she did and blames it all on alcohol. Meanwhile, Sergos’s Apollo is standing there watching it all. Unlike every time, in Osora Chapter 73, Osora sees the evil one watching them.
Osora Chapter 73: Sergos’s Evil Shadow

Osora Chapter 73 begins with Osora standing up and rushing towards the book rack, thinking he saw someone. When Arias tells him no one else is present here, he wonders if it’s just his hangover. (Does that mean Apollo’s power doesn’t work on Osora? Or, did Apollo want to reveal him a little?) Arias pats his head and asks him to take some more rest. As the prince apologizes again about last night, Arias simply says it’s fine and starts wondering who Osora saw in here. Meanwhile, Apollo is still present in the library, looking at Arias. (Creep!)
Solus is trying to make Hyrus understand to stop messing with magic and humans. Solus quite bluntly says they hope Hyrus fails in his plan. “Hyrus, our bloodline is effectively abolished. Neither you nor I have the ability to produce. There’s nothing we can do but accept it.” Remembering the time, fearful times when humans made their lives a living hell, Hyrus is determined to avenge humankind. He thinks human beings will do anything to place the Sergos as the villains of their civilization. He thinks about how Maxim and Marboro turned against them and in favor of humans.

Hyrus’s Evil Plan

Solus replies, “Perhaps they are prioritizing peace over vengeance.” Hyrus defends, “They are mistaking submission for peace.” He predicts the Sergos will also shake hands with humans some time soon and get burned by them, and everyone will reach their end. “You and I will live on and carry the legacy of the Sergos for centuries, Solus. We are the closest thing to god that the people in this cursed world have.” Hyrus decides to pay him a visit after a long time to let him know about Arias, Maxim’s half-breed son, in the hope that he will reconcile.
In the Calaveras Kingdom, a boy bumps into Arias and falls. He apologizes and mentions that he is joining today as a guard and is kind of lost in here. Arias guides him that the guards quarter is back in there and walks away. Osora Chapter 73 ends with the new boy wondering about who Arias is, with, if we are not mistaken, a hint of blush. (Osora’s new competition or something, well, stay tuned!)
