My Clueless Love Diary, a romance webtoon, follows Cho-Eun, a spirited, lively, and passionate college student, as she tries to tone down her complicated life as the granddaughter of a major gang leader. Obsessed with being normal, the larger-than-life character finds herself in ridiculously extraordinary situations, which result in genuine laugh-out-loud moments. Previously in My Clueless Love Diary, Cho-Eun is surprised by a hidden kidnapper who takes hold of her. What will happen? Let’s find out in My Clueless Love Diary Chapter 19!
My Clueless Love Diary Chapter 19: Cho-Eun Handles A Kidnapper

My Clueless Love Diary Chapter 19 begins as the black-masked man grabs Cho-Eun and presses a handkerchief to her mouth. He remarks that the shameless Hongsal clan had taken his daughter away, but their own granddaughter was roaming around without a care. He lets her collapse onto the ground and starts to think about negotiating with Hongsal- when Cho-Eun gets back up and judo-flips him in the air. “You’re sloppy,” she asserts, explaining the chloroform couldn’t knock out a person that easily- this wasn’t Hollywood. It’d be much more effective to shove the soaked napkin into the victim’s mouth instead. She demonstrates on the protesting man by stuffing the cloth between his lips. Further, she lectures that the best course of action would be to hit them in the neck- she demonstrates- and really knock the living daylights out of them.
No surprise, the man lies unconscious on the ground after Cho-Eun’s brief TED talk. She looks down at him in disappointment, remembering that she had more questions to ask him. Oh, well. Always save something for after your kidnapper regains consciousness, right?
Later, Cho-Eun slaps the man awake. She doesn’t tie him up, much to his confusion, and seems more focused on what to order for dinner (well, that’s her in a nutshell). Remembering what he’d said about his motives, Cho-Eun politely offers to help the skeptical man and his abducted daughter. She explains that it was her ‘responsibility’ to fix his problem.
The Cho-Eun Effect

Meanwhile, Miro watches Cho-Eun from afar. He assesses the situation and concludes that the man wasn’t the threat Hongsal warned him of (Cho-Eun had taken him out with one hit, after all). Yuhyeon creeps up behind him and calls the bodyguard patient for not immediately running to her. He gazes out at Cho-Eun and realizes that his fiancée is an ‘upright person’ who sticks to her morals. Miro asks Yuyheon when he was going to inform Cho-Eun about their engagement, but he doesn’t take it seriously and jokes with him instead.
Six hours ago, at the White Tiger clan, Seok-Ho finished an intense workout. He answers a call from a bunch of drunken gangsters who clamour over each other to chat about college life. They warn him not to let his emotions mess up the plan. Seok-Ho dismisses the statement as an impossibility, puts the phone down, and abruptly groans in frustration. He’d just stopped thinking about Cho-Eun, but all this talk about ’emotions’ brought her back to mind. Seok-Ho remembers the night on the beach- how she’d sincerely cried over him and saved his life- and angrily decides that he loathes her and all the things they’d ever done together, concluding Chapter 19.
What Happened So Far?
Previously in My Clueless Love Diary, Seok-Ho tries to lure Cho-Eun into the rough sea- and ends up getting swept away himself. Fortunately for him, Cho-Eun swims after him and pulls him back to shore in the nick of time. For a few moments, she truly thinks he might’ve died and begins sobbing uncontrollably out of fear. When Seok-Ho finally wakes up and notices Cho-Eun’s distressed state, something inside him changes. But as his feelings grow, so does his complete denial, and Seok-Ho refuses to acknowledge Cho-Eun in the days to follow.
As midterms come up, Cho-Eun struggles to manage her time between sleeping and studying, and so she makes a plan with her friends to stay in school after hours for a study session. Thoroughly excited about the idea, she arrives before everyone else and gets started on her work. Meanwhile, Mr. Hong calls Miro personally to notify him about a dangerous threat on the loose. He tells the young bodyguard to keep an extremely close eye on Cho-Eun since she is likely a prime target. Later, in the mood for a snack, Cho-Eun wanders away from the library and is intercepted by the masked kidnapper- and we know how it goes from there!
