“Love Bites” is indeed an interesting webtoon series that has successfully combined romance and supernatural elements. The story revolves around Kieran, a vampire, and Mason, a werewolf, who unexpectedly find themselves attracted to each other despite their different supernatural identities. The theme of the series is those that bear to forbidden love and self-discovery between two worlds. Now comes Chapter 7, delivering superbly subtle emotional progression in the characters’ Kieran and Mason magic. The series, though still showing the nitty-gritty of their relationship, here takes a giant leap with being vulnerable and deeply knowing each other. Love Bites Chapter 7: Team Macbeth
Love Bites Chapter 7 becomes a turning point in the lives of Kieran and Mason. Here Kieran suspects Mason to make a move on his only best friend Cella. Whereas, Cella likes spending time with Mason and probably has a crush on him as well. Gonna say this but Cella probably thinks Mason was waiting for the green light to date her and that’s why he asked if Kier was gay. But Mason is annoying toying with Cella and third-wheeling Kier here. He’s just using Cella to get Kier’s attention but that’s a little too far.
But in this case, Cella is a good person we don’t want her to get her heart broken. Like we get that the main characters are gonna end up together but what about Cella? We can’t tell if Mason’s doing this to mess with Kieran. Which is probably messed up unless Cella is in it and is just playing along which is still kinda wrong either way. Or he’s just in so denial that he’s gay?
Whenever Mason spends time with Cella, he mocks Kieran whom he dislikes. Mason on the other hand kept making Cella laugh which on the other hand is bothering Kieran. More like he fears that his only best friend Cella is getting more into Mason’s side. In the meantime, Mason made Team Macbeth’s football team and invited Kieran and Cella to come.
We feel bad for Kieran even though his jealousy is not understandable. Cella is his only friend and basically treating him like air after Mason came in the picture isn’t nice. Now actually get the idea that many are saying that he’s jealous of Cella getting to spend more time with Mason. It feels more like Kieran feels left out and doesn’t want to blame Cella for it so he blames Mason.
What Happened So Far?
Kieran, a young vampire leads a mundane normalcy. Until he meets Mason, a new student exuding a mysterious aura. Initially, Kieran feels some disdain, yet cannot fathom why he has drawn like a moth towards Mason.
Kieran bumps into Mason a little too much and quickly realizes Mason’s true self is a werewolf. Kieran then feels that the revelations have altered his perceptions of him and challenged everything about the battle that has existed between their kinds. He has no resolve, however, to resist the drawn attraction that he feels for Mason, paving the way toward forbidden love. Kieran is at war with himself due to the ideals of society concerning vampires and the fact that he craves Mason’s blood. Their interaction grows closer, exposing them to intimacy and vulnerability. In stark contrast to those moments lies the dread of being discovered.
We predict Kieran and Mason will be each other’s spokesmen for objection to every evil force in the world. They are determined to dismantle prejudice and walls long entrenched between their communities, which would stand by and watch as their people destroy one another. Their offensive against prejudices and walls would end up in a daring plan bringing together vampires and werewolves, risking everything that their belief in a harmonious future could offer.
