Love Bites is a romance webtoon with a slow buildup that looks into themes of identity, love, and forbidden relationships. The story is about Kieran, a vampire who is trying to stay out of people’s way, as he is deeply affected by his tragic history involving werewolves. Mason—a mysterious werewolf with a charming attitude—transfers to the school, and everything starts to get wild. It all begins with both characters feeling tense and snapping at each other, and continues with many sly looks, sarcastic comments, and a memorable kiss in the locker room.
Because of his difficult emotions and the old rivalry between vampires and werewolves, Kieran’s loyalty to Cella makes everything more complicated now that she is dating Mason. With each chapter, the author uncovers a mess of secrets, blood pacts, fears, and hesitant touches. At this point in the book, the writer keeps readers engaged by mixing suspense, emotion, and kindness, so they cheer for a relationship that should not exist.
Love Bites Chapter 15: Project Trouble & Unspoken Kisses

Love Bites Chapter 15 begins with Kieran reeling from the revelation that Cella told Mason about it. Mason says that Cella didn’t actually tell him anything, but her gaze makes it clear that she thinks and sees him differently now. Mason admits she is always nervous around him, just as Kieran feels. Yet, as usual, Kieran scoffs and points out that she is likely nervous because of her feelings. Unlike Kieran, who claims he couldn’t care less. (Sure, Kieran. Repeat this message to yourself often.)
Kieran says that Cella deserves to know the truth, regardless of any agreement. Mason is clearly upset and tells him he broke the important treaty. If Kieran wants to keep breaking the rules, he should also tell Cella about Kieran’s vampire side. Still, with a proud expression and a smug smile, Kieran dares Mason to do it. He has been Cella’s best friend for a decade, and that means he trusts her and cares about her more. Following this comes the signature line, like every overprotective fictional best friend ever: “If you hurt her, I’ll end you.”
However, Kieran reveals that he actually doesn’t hate Mason. He doesn’t seem to care enough about him at all. (Ouch, that one stings.) If Mason wants to fight, he should battle Cedric, who is Kieran’s tougher battle-hardened elder brother. After their heated exchange, Mason storms off. But does Kieran forget about him? Of course not. On Thursday night, Kieran is again thinking about Mason. He’s sketching like a man possessed—yes, werewolves again. The thoughts about Mason live in his head rent-free as usual.
Sketches and Silver Threads
Trying to avoid Mason by Sunday becomes a real struggle. Group project time should feel relaxing, except it turns out to be heated and noisy, and Cella is clearly annoyed by it. She finally snaps and tells them to stop acting like kids and just complete the project. After that, he goes to her sister Deborah’s aid, who is very upset because her boyfriend cheated. (Cella, you’re too good for this world.)
Now, there are only the two of them left alone in the room: Kieran and Mason. The atmosphere is filled with so much tension, you could literally slice it with a silver knife.
To prevent anything from bursting into flames, Kieran encourages them to try to get along, both for Cella and for the sake of the project. Mason agrees, though he wants them to talk about their kiss first. The topic they’ve both managed to avoid for a while. Love Bites Chapter 15 ends with the two boys cornered by unspoken feelings, an unfinished group project, and one steamy memory neither of them can erase.
What Happened So Far?
Things have quickly gone from being a bit awkward to being very emotional for Kieran. He tries to avoid getting into trouble as a vampire, which is very difficult. Mason, a very attractive werewolf who just joined the school, makes everything more chaotic. Kieran spends the night after the accidental kiss in the locker room feeling confused and lost. Kieran is full of mixed emotions as he has to handle old vampire-werewolf agreements. He also has to look after his friend Cella, who is now with Mason, and thus has to deal with feelings he shouldn’t have.
Even once Cella finds out Mason is a werewolf, she seems to accept it, and Kieran is left even more puzzled. He keeps telling himself it was a mistake, but his art and his heart show him otherwise. Now the entire school thinks Kieran is a third wheel in their relationship, and when Kieran reaches his breaking point, Mason shows up and screams at him for telling Cella his secret.
