Your Throne Chapter 33-40: Shattered Reflections
Your Throne Chapter 33: Fake Love
Your Throne Chapter 33 opens with Psyche (in Medea’s body) anxious about Eros’s presence in the room. At that moment, he finds her and notices her injured leg. The scene shifts to a flashback where a doctor is treating her injury and warning her against continuing her swordsmanship training, as it may leave her paralyzed. Hearing this, Thesion angrily lashes out at the doctor. Amused, she tells him to stay put, saying she doesn’t need him as a father, shocking him.
In the present, Psyche (in Medea’s body) pleads with Eros to leave, amusing him with her changed demeanour. Meanwhile, Medea (in Psyche’s body), disguised as Medea, tries to locate Helio’s priest. She overhears a woman in the temple discussing the priests’ absence and quickly asks the woman for directions to the prayer room, claiming she wishes to make an offering. Elsewhere, Helio learns that the sixth priest has passed away, and the remaining priest with him wants to know if Helio will come and wait. Helio considers this.
Back at the Solon mansion, the nervous and frightened Psyche (in Medea’s body) faces Eros, who, amused by her submissive state, presses on her injured leg, causing her to bleed. Psyche remembers their past intimacy but now sees the real Eros before her. Your Chapter 33 ends with Eros musing that with “Medea’s” current personality, Medea Solon could have been his wife instead of Psyche Callista.
Chapter 34: Whispers Of Betrayal
Your Throne Chapter 34 opens with Psyche(in Medea’s body) and Eros caught in an intimate moment. Eros leans in to kiss her, revealing his physical desire, but she remains distant, lost in thoughts of Helio’s genuine love for Medea. She comes to terms with the reality of that love and firmly pushes Eros away, asserting that he never truly cared for Psyche. Eros, with a knowing smirk, concedes her point, leaving Psyche-in-Medea shattered. Meanwhile, the duke menaces the servants, threatening dire consequences if they dare to speak of the events outside the mansion.
In the temple, Medea, still disguised, roams the prayer hall in search of the priest and unexpectedly encounters Helio. In another part of the city, Pell and his associate joke about his choice to reveal the oracle’s secrets. However, Pell ultimately decides to stand against the imperial family. Helio then spots Medea and instinctively drapes a cloak over her, concerned for her well-being, to which she responds with a reassuring smile. Back at the Solon mansion, Psyche-in-Medea is crushed as the reality of Eros’s manipulation sinks in. She remembers his promise to let her live in the fantasy of being the crown princess, and in her despair, she begins to bang her head against the wall, overwhelmed by the sting of Eros’s betrayal.

Chapter 35: A New Cardinal
Your Throne Chapter 35 opens with Pell entering the temple where the service for the sixth priest is being conducted. Pell’s colleague advises him to proceed with caution and not make hasty decisions, but Pell is determined to act without delay. He expresses his desire to meet Medea-in-Psyche, as she has piqued his interest. Meanwhile, Helio and Medea exchange pleasantries, but Medea suddenly experiences an intense headache, possibly linked to her real body’s pain due to Psyche. Helio escorts her to a room, where Medea removes her disguise, prompting great concern from Helio. Medea-in-Psyche reassures Helio in her own manner, and he presents her with the oracle, shocking her with its contents.
Initially angered, she eventually calms down with Helio’s comforting words and realizes Eros is also aware of the oracle and is working to keep it hidden by guarding the temple. Medea-in-Psyche is anxious about her future and plans to use the oracle to weaken imperial power, seeking support from someone willing to help. In the following scene, Pell disrupts the service, causing bewilderment among the other priests, who find his actions rude. Despite initial reluctance, the pope introduces Pell as the new temple cardinal, bestowing upon him the name Perion Sob Vasilios.
Your Throne Chapter 36: Encounter
Your Throne Chapter 36 commences with Pell, aka Perion or Sob Vasilios, being announced as the new cardinal of the empire. Upon leaving the temple, he encounters Eros, and they casually discuss Pell’s recent appointment as cardinal. He is amused by Eros’s respectful demeanour towards him, prompting him to inquire if it is due to the oracle. As Pell pats him on the shoulder, the imperial guards launch an attack on him, only to be stopped by Eros. The temple guard reprimands him for his conduct, leading to annoyance from Pell and laughter from Eros. Before departing, the Crown Prince indirectly warns him against showing interest in Psyche.
Your Throne Chapter 37 opens with Medea-in-Psyche observing Pell and noting that he resembles the saviour she had imagined. Pell, visibly excited upon seeing her, suddenly accuses her of murder, shocking Medea. He then attempts to attack her, forcing her to flee. Pell insists he can see the murderer in her soul and demands to know how many people she has killed. Confused by his accusations and wondering if he shares Psyche’s divine favour, Medea-in-Psyche hastily escapes, with Pell hot on her heels.
As she evades him, she notices he is strategically avoiding her vital points, fighting without apparent intention. Realizing this, she forms a plan, allowing him to injure her, then seizes the opportunity to kick him away. Pell mocks her for her perceived lack of morals just as his colleague intervenes. Medea-in-Psyche recognizes the newcomer as the new cardinal and takes advantage of the distraction to slip away.
Meanwhile, Eros senses a change—his ring, which responds to divine presence, begins to resonate ever since his visit to Medea, leaving him skeptical. Back at the Solon mansion, Psyche-in-Medea regains her power but notices something feels different. As she attempts to heal her wounds, she finds her efforts only worsen them.
