Medea, once a childhood friend of Psyche, has now turned bitter. She suffers from jealousy as she feels betrayed in the contest for crown princess.

Being thirsty for power, Medea swaps bodies with Psyche on the prayer day. She believes having her life will be the fortune she needs. But when she was in Psyche’s body, she realized that being her did not feel like the fortune she had once thought it would. After succeeding her father and thus becoming the Duchess of the Solon Dukedom, Medea learns more about the true nature of the crown prince, whose evil deeds have far-reaching implications. Motivated by revenge, she devolves into a determination to destroy him at all costs.

Your Throne Characters: Psyche Callista

Psyche Callista is the deuteragonist of Your Throne. She is the beloved daughter of Count Callista and the future crown princess of the Vasilios Empire. Gifted by the gods with the power of divinity, she possesses the ability to heal others, though this extraordinary gift can just as easily lead to destruction when misused. Pell describes her as an angel, embodying a purity that represents a profound absence of evil out of all the Your Throne characters. She deeply cares for others and is driven by a desire to alleviate pain and prevent death, viewing the world through a rose-tinted lens.

However, her benevolence makes her somewhat naïve, enabling others to manipulate her. This illusion of a beautiful world shatters when she switches bodies with Medea, a transformative experience that forces Psyche to confront the harsh truth: the seemingly idyllic life she’s known is a delusion, and many around her harbour ulterior motives. She learns that the crown prince, whom she believed loved her, was merely attracted to her power. As she grapples with these revelations, Psyche resolves to shed her naïveté and escape her role as a puppet in the grand game of intrigue and power. Despite her extraordinary abilities, she often feels insecure about using them, fearful that others might see her as a monster. However, through rebuilding her bond with Medea and forming connections with Helio, Pell, and her other friends, Psyche begins a journey of self-acceptance.

Eros Orna Vasilios

Eros Orna Vasilios serves as the main antagonist in Your Throne. As the crown prince of the Vasilios Empire, he is currently engaged to Psyche Callista. On the surface, he presents himself as a kind, noble, and seemingly perfect man, captivating those around him. However, beneath this facade lies a cold-hearted manipulative man who is devoid of empathy and driven solely by his own interests. He manipulates and exploits others for his gain without a hint of remorse.

Eros deceives Psyche by masquerading as her ideal lover, but his true intentions are far more sinister. He is only interested in her divinity—her power to heal—and plans to eliminate her once he obtains it. His ruthlessness extends beyond his enemies; he exhibits cruelty towards his comrades, leading Pell to label him as the most evil man he has ever encountered.

Beyond his ambitions regarding Psyche, Eros harbours a twisted and unhealthy obsession with Medea. He desires her submission and views her as a mere trophy to display. His willingness to eliminate anyone who stands in his way, including Medea herself, underscores Eros’s dangerous nature and the depths of his depravity and makes him more vile out of all the Your Throne characters.

Your Throne Characters: Helio Niccolo

Helio Niccolo is a prominent supporting character in Your Throne. As a Marquess and a celebrated war hero, he is seen as a harsh and strategic person. However, beneath this tough surface, Helio has a strong loyalty to Medea, whom he admires like a goddess. His deep appreciation comes from her being a source of support during his difficult childhood. His loyalty towards her is unparalleled when compared to any other Your Throne characters. Their relationship is complex, evolving from childhood friendship into a deeper bond that includes a friends-with-benefits dynamic. Helio admires her profoundly, his feelings intertwining with a fierce protectiveness that often fluctuates between jealousy and adoration—especially whenever he perceives her attention directed toward another man.

Initially wary of Psyche, Helio’s perceptions shift as he becomes an instrumental figure in helping her in her journey—a transformation that involves switching bodies with Medea under her careful guidance. Through this process, Helio not only aids Psyche but also begins to warm up to her, further complicating the dynamics at play.

Your Throne Characters: Pell

Perion Sov Vasilios, commonly known as Pell, is a key supporting character in Your Throne. As the cardinal of the Temple of Vasilios, he has a quick temper and a strong sense of justice. He also deeply dislikes violence. This belief often makes it hard for him to grasp the complicated reasons behind the actions of people like Medea and Helio, whose ways he does not support.

Pell has extraordinary abilities, including reading divine oracles without divine revelation and seeing the true nature of people’s souls—good or evil. He is determined to reform the empire and eliminate the corruption among the nobility, whom he believes contributed to its downfall.

In his eyes, Psyche embodies purity and goodness, which leads him to view her as an angel amidst the chaos. Conversely, he perceives Eros as the embodiment of evil, a force capable of bringing destruction to the empire. He is one of the Your Throne characters who openly expresses his dislike towards the crown prince. Despite his disdain for Medea’s methods, Pell reluctantly collaborates with her, recognizing that their shared goal of protecting the empire from Eros’s potential havoc outweighs their differences.

Your Throne Characters: Nana

Nana is a supporting character in Your Throne, known as the sister of Duke Thesion and Medea’s devoted nanny. She cared deeply for Medea, wishing for her to break free from the confines of the Solon mansion and live a life of peace. Medea shared the same sentiment, considering Nana to be like a mother. Nana also shared a close bond with Helio, who, among all Your Throne characters, respected and trusted her. Tragically, Thesion brutally attacked her in a fit of rage over Medea’s failure to secure her position as crown princess, cutting her life short. Ultimately, Thesion dumped her off a cliff. Though she miraculously survived the fall, the fall gravely injured her. Witnessing the horrific event, Helio rushed to save her, but as her condition worsened, she made a heartbreaking request: that he save Medea and end her suffering.

Thesion Solon

Duke Thesion Solon serves as the former secondary antagonist in Your Throne. As the head of the House of Solon and father to Dekis and Medea, he epitomized the ruthless noble archetype. He values power above all else and views his children merely as tools for the glory of his dukedom. Thesion was cruel and often neglected his duties as a father, routinely resorting to physical punishment to discipline his children. He is regarded as the second most vile character among all the Your Throne characters.

He saw Medea’s incredible skills and started to use her talent for his own gain, claiming her ideas as his own. His broken wish for Medea to be the crown princess drove him to attack her cherished nanny in a rage. But Thesion’s reign of fear ended suddenly when Medea exposed his wrongdoings, which led to his execution and finally bringing justice.

Your Throne Characters: Dekis Solon

Dekis Solon is a supporting character in Your Throne. He is the older son of Thesion and the older brother of Medea. Described as cool and level-headed, Dekis possesses a deep love and care for his sister. However, upon discovering their father’s cruel actions, he distanced himself from the House of Solon, ultimately running away from home. This decision led to a significant misunderstanding between him and Medea.

Eventually, Dekis returned after receiving a letter from Medea, in which she expressed her growth and maturity. Recognizing her as the true head of House Solon, he is one of the Your Throne characters who wholeheartedly supports her. The narrative also reveals that Dekis is married. He takes on the responsibility of caring for the children who fell victim to his father’s wartime crimes.

The Pope of Vasilios

The Pope of Vasilios, also known as Lucius, is a supporting character in Your Throne. As the Pope, he outwardly presents himself as calm, serene, and kind. However, beneath this facade lies a cunning and manipulative nature that reveals his true character. His loyalty to Eros runs deeper than all of Your Throne characters, leading him to support Eros’s ambitions even at the cost of human lives.

The Pope took in Pell after the boy was abandoned at the temple, nurturing him as a son. However, when Pell began to develop remarkable powers, Lucius’s feelings shifted from paternal affection to jealousy. Under the guise of wanting to help Pell experience the world, Lucius sent him away, masking his true motivations. When Pell came back, the Pope was unsure about making him a cardinal. What Pell didn’t know was that Lucius had teamed up with Eros to stop him from rising, wanting to keep his power and remove any risks to his control.

Your Throne Characters: Bertie

Bertie is a supporting character in Your Throne. She comes from a working-class background among the Your Throne Characters. Bertie serves as a maid in the Solon manor and as Medea’s personal attendant. She is deeply loyal to Medea and willing to go to great lengths to support and protect her. Medea, in turn, holds a fondness for Bertie, appreciating her innocence and unwavering devotion.

Lynn

Lynn is a supporting character in Your Throne, serving as a maid in House Callista. Initially, she is a spy for Medea but ultimately chooses to switch sides, prioritizing her own self-preservation over loyalty. Lynn’s character reveals her kleptomania and insatiable greed for money. As of now, she works as Psyche’s personal maid. Lynn appears to have developed a fondness for Psyche, adding an intriguing layer to her shifting allegiances.
