The Ki Sisters Chapter 28: New Transfer Student!
The Ki Sisters Chapter 28 begins with the first day of school. And, according to the plan Jenny and Junhui will meet under the pine tree. She can’t wait to ask him to be her boyfriend because she has waited 18 hours 32 minutes and 47 seconds. When a school employee asks her about the uniform, she shuns it away saying it’s an important day. To make the confession more perfect, she made chocolates for him. However, Jenny was wrong, the employee was screaming at someone else. AND enters, the new student or a potential problem – Queen Lola. Guess what? This idea of a new transfer is Seho and Jaerim’s final weapon to destroy the confession plan. After apologizing to Jenny for pushing her, she introduces herself as Junhui Kki’s childhood friend.
On the other hand, Seho sees Junhui and asks him why he isn’t dressed up. He says he doesn’t want to stand out in school and asks him to go ahead. As soon as he finishes talking, he sees a crowd and wonders if there is a fight going on. And shocker, LOLA IS HERE! He wonders what she is doing here. Although Jenny waves at him, he decides to turn around and escape. (We mean literally escape!) Seeing him run away, Jenny takes the position of a runner to catch him. (The Ki Sisters being the funniest webtoon out there!) However, before Jenny could chase him, Lola warns her saying, “Childhood friends are like white on rice. You can’t separate them.”
Lola Is A Threat
Jenny trips and it ruins all her self-made chocolates and she finally understands Lola’s intention. She wonders about Lola and Junhui’s history and realizes Lola wants to put her in her place because now they are rivals. She lifts her head and thinks, “This should be fun.” Jenny decides to give the ruined chocolates to Jangnyeo and the squished ones to Jaerim. Lola can’t destroy her confidence because she thinks jealousy is also a sign of love and things are more exciting now.
Junhui asks Seho how Lola appeared out of nowhere since no one knows about her except for him. He pretends to know nothing about it and says it’s probably a coincidence. Junhui clarifies that Lola isn’t an easy person and Jenny will likely be in danger. Seho shrugs it off saying she is fine. (Apparently, he asked Jaerim for an update who lied about seeing things from in front of the school, while in reality, she was in bed munching food.) He sees him off to his class and although anxious, Junhui believes Lola doesn’t remember him. (You wish!) As soon as he enters the class, she informs him that she just transferred in. And to make matters worse, she is also sitting beside her.
The students start wondering why they seem so close. Lola leaves no stone unturned and discloses that they weren’t just childhood friends, they dated as well, and Junhui was her first love. The Ki Sisters Chapter 48 ends with Jenny entering the class and murmuring, “Junhui’s first love?”
What Happened So Far?
Jenny and Junhui finally decide to meet and spend a meaningful time together. His brothers Jangnam, Geuncheol, and Roy tried their best to make it more memorable for him, but honestly, they didn’t have to. Their shy unromantic brother ended up giving Jenny a ring.
After their date in The Ki Sisters Chapter 26, Jenny decides to confess to Junhui because he is the one for her. This abrupt decision confuses Jaerim and Seho and they decide to meddle. On one hand, Jaerim goes to an extreme and smacks Jenny on the head with a chair and then ties her up so she can’t leave the house. On the other hand, Seho pretends to be really sick to keep Junhui with him. Well, if you haven’t read this chapter, we recommend you do it right now because poor Seho will actually end up sick because of A CAT. In order to set them apart, they decide to do something drastic and that’s when Lola enters the story.
