The Age of Arrogance Chapter 9 ends with Gabriel Knox and Beatrice at the temple sanctuary. The empress asks for his support to help her son Matthias ascend the throne. In exchange, Gabriel Knox asks for her promise to turn the Chard Empire into a holy empire.
Chapter 10: The Deal
The Age of Arrogance Chapter 10 begins with Beatrice asking Gabriel to give her some time to think about this offer.
