Singles’ Royale Chapter 27: How to Lose A Guy In One Day
Singles’ Royale Chapter 27 begins as Seona dresses up for her first date with Hyunbin. She tries on various outfits before wondering why she even cares. She wasn’t taking any of it seriously. I mean, a date with her former student? It’s not like it would ever become serious.
Seona decides to wear a baggy t-shirt, pajama pants, and her thickest glasses. If that didn’t scream ‘I don’t care!’, nothing did. And, the cherry on top: she even shows up late to the date. She was determined to make Hyunbin lose interest in her! However, when she runs into him- all dressed up unlike her- he smiles. Hyunbin praises her outfit, making Seona grumble in frustration. Great. Her first attempt to get rid of him had epically failed.
Still, Seona refuses to lose hope. She was full of ideas. Her next plan took them to a restaurant for lunch. Ordering chicken feet, Seona proceeds to chow down on her food like the slobbiest of messy eaters. Who wasn’t disgusted by the absence of table manners? After spilling sauce everywhere, burping and chewing loudly, Seoana wipes her hand onto her shirt like the final act of a masterful performance. Hyunbin excuses himself and walks away from the table. Yes, success! Or not.
Going Big or Going Home
A moment later, he turns with a tissue and gently wipes her fingers for her. He even advises her to be careful with spicy sauce. It could burn her skin. Shocked, Seona blinks at him as a faint rosy tint appears on her cheeks.
Walking the streets with him, Seona formulates her last plan. She needed a rock-solid idea to make him lose interest for good. They wander and end up at an escape room where only an R-rated game was available. Initially repulsed by the idea, Seona decides that she’d make him lose interest by engaging in ‘full-on perv mode’. Hesitantly, Hyunbin agrees to her idea. He leaves to help set up the game. When Seona walks in, she finds him cuffed to the bed. Her eyes widen in surprise… what was he doing?! Abashedly, Hyunbin explains that the key was in his pants pocket. Slowly, Seona reaches in to pull it out. No big deal, right?
Rewind! Back at the restaurant, Mr. Kim- the older man Seona had tried to date- watches Hyunbin wth an unreadable expression, concluding Chapter 27.
What Happened So Far?
Previously, in Jurim’s corner, she agrees to fake-date Dowon to satiate his nosy mother. The immaculate woman was suspicious that her son was seeing someone. To convince her that he wasn’t dating a mysterious girl from his past, he brings Jurim to meet her. But even after a kiss- Jurim’s very first kiss– she doesn’t seem convinced. So, the duo ends up spending the night together at a hotel.
Alone in the luxurious room, sparks fly during an intense game of Hilly Gilly (yes, it’s as silly as it sounds). When Jurim tells Dowon about the Singles’ Royale, he nominates himself as the perfect boyfriend for the job. But is it all a joke… or will Jurim really accept his offer?
