In Singles’ Royale, the tragically single trinity of Jurim, Seona, and Chayeul, three middle-aged women with long-cremated love lives, embarks on a dating competition for the ages. They compete for a prize of five hundred million won, breaking hearts and striking up new relationships on the rocky road to first place ( AKA, being rich!). Previously in Singles’ Royale, Jurim and Dowon run into each other at an event, and sparks fly. When small misunderstandings snowball into a big rumour, Dowon’s mother enters the scene. Will Jurim survive? Let’s find out in Singles’ Royale Chapter 24!
Singles’ Royale Chapter 24: Jurim Dates Dowon for A Day

Singles’ Royale Chapter 24 begins as Jurim overhears Dowon’s heated conversation with his dramatic mother. She apologizes for putting him in the prickly predicament, and then after a moment, says, “If you don’t mind, I can pretend to be your girlfriend.”
Despite Dowon’s hesitation, she insists on taking responsibility for the mess she’d caused. He pauses to make sure Jurim was completely on board with the risk of rumour and reputational damage, before finally agreeing with her plan. They agree to date for one day. Let the show begin!
Before the curtains pull away to reveal the audience- an impeccably dressed woman- Dowon and Jurim rehearse their couple story one last time. When Dowon moves to touch Jurim’s mole, a spot that he mistook for noodle soup, they share a brief moment of genuine electricity. Now that’s something that even days of practice couldn’t replicate.
Lights, Camera… Action!

At the restaurant, Jurim orders a ‘Mom & Dad Are Aliens, but I’m a Unicorn’ latte to calm her nerves. But when Dowon slides into the booth with her, the chances of that sink to zero. ‘Why am I suddenly so conscious of his every move?’ she wonders in a panic. She sips her quirky drink… and it fails to match up to her standards. Or any standards.
Seeing Jurim’s disgusted look, Dowon offers her his own coffee. She raises it to her lips, blushing, and sips his drink. Finally, Dowon video-calls his mother. On his screen, a well-dressed woman in sunglasses and red lips waves her manicured fingers at them in an eager greeting. Just as Jurim gears up to say hello on the phone, Dowon’s mother appears behind them in the restaurant.
Jurim sits across from the fashionable woman, who reminds her of Seona, and begins conversing with ease. Dowon inquires how she’d tracked them down, but she refuses to give him a straight answer. His jaws clench in anger, but when he glances at Jurim, bright and happy, his muscles relax into a small smile.
Despite everything, Dowon’s mother refuses to believe them. She had to be sure. So, she orders her son, “Kiss her. Kiss. Her. Now.” Jurima and Dowon internally panic, concluding Singles’ Royale Chapter 24.
What Happened So Far?
Previously in Singles’ Royale, Jurim goes on a blind date with a man she met at a pub. Though he seems nice at first, he offers to drop Jurim home and harasses her when she doesn’t let him in. He calls her apartment a ‘dump’ and moves to physically abuse her. Thankfully, Dowon and his three little puppies race to Jurim’s rescue and chase the evil man away. Soon after, she begins to sob in front of him. Finally, embarrassed by her broken and conscious of her shabby home, she lies about her true residence and sprints away.
For a long time after the incident, Jurim doesn’t meet Dowon even once. However, at a banquet held by her art gallery, she runs into him again. Dowon, once a mystery artist, reveals his identity to the public. He soon becomes the center of attraction at the event and the main topic of interest. Many begin to plague him about his “girlfriend” (a non-existent identity), and he evades the questions. However, word gets out… and the rumours eventually reach Dowon’s nosy mother.
Dowon’s mom immediately rings up Dowon and pesters him for details on his new girlfriend. She seems especially worried about a mysterious girl from Dowon’s past. It wasn’t her again, was it? Eventually, she threatens to fly home to meet him if he doesn’t video-call her to introduce his girlfriend.
