Villain to Kill is the story of a top-class psyker, Cassian Lee, who gets betrayed and murdered by his own organization. However, fate plays a game, and he ends up in the body of a villain, a Korean high schooler, Gangu Gwon. From then on, Cassian, as Gangu, embarks on a mission to become stronger to take his revenge. Villain to Kill Chapter 139
In Villain to Kill Chapter 139, Cassian absorbs Rose Tail’s power to save her from dying as she experiences her third awakening. However, it can be hazardous for Cassian as well. Hence, Cassian assimilates with Moros’s advice to protect his mental state. As a result, Rose Tail turns to her human form, Rosie marking Cassian as the ultimate winner of the festival of corruption.
Everyone, including Driver, notices a sudden increase in Cassian’s magic points and hence becomes interested in him. Meanwhile, Don King tells Cassian that with repeated awakenings, villains lose their sense of self and become complete monsters. Villain to Kill Chapter 140
After Villain to Kill Chapter 139, in Chapter 140, we see Cassian’s college entrance exams finally start. Surprisingly, he bumps into Mujin in front of his house, who claims to have bought an extra packet of good luck rice cakes. She tells him they are for her friend, who is also taking the exams. She then offers the rice cakes to Cassian and wishes him luck.

Cassian receives a call asking him to find Rose Tail because she ran away after losing her memories past twelve years of age. Cassian entrusted Rosie with a bartender in the Gadam Vilzone’s Bar who used to sell magic stones for money. He did so because he knew Rosie would be safer with an ex-psyker than with a villain.
On the other hand, the four masters of evil meet in Los Angeles. They all have made Heaven’s Evil Council and have been conducting regular meetings. All of them are keen on Cassian because of his fight with Don King in the future. It turns out that Don King and Moran fought five years ago, however, couldn’t wrap it up for some reason.
By the end of Villain to Kill Chapter 143, Don King finds Rosie’s location. Simultaneously, Cassian has been practicing meditation in Gadam Vilzone, to strengthen his mental state. Moros tells him that transcendence is all about not losing your sense of self as you do by awakening. He also mentions metacognition, which is the ability to judge your thoughts to differentiate right from wrong, what you know from what you don’t. He also mentions that repeated awakenings can damage the villain’s metacognition ability. Meanwhile, Rosie becomes a waitress in the Gadam Vilzone’s bar.
