The Remarried Empress Chapter 195: Navier Is A Mage
The Remarried Empress Chapter 195 begins with the news, “Emperor Sovieshu had an accident and is in critical condition.” After sending Evalie off to the Eastern Empire, Heinrey and Navier attended the cabinet meeting. Now, the lingering question in everyone’s mind is, is Empress Navier a mage? Making the smarter decision, she addresses this matter on her own and lets them know that she used magic on both Duke Zemensia and the intruder who previously tried to attack her. Although she feels a little embarrassed to admit that she is a mage since it hasn’t been long, she thinks it’s for the best. With this revelation, everyone in the cabinet is quite ecstatic, and they compliment her demeanor and the power of ice magic.

Why is Heinrey Avoiding Navier?
Heinrey is glad to see the court people’s reaction firsthand. However, Navier is wondering about last night when Heinrey refused her kiss and moved away. And in order to confirm this, she brings him to an empty room. This makes him goofy, and with a smirk on his face, what is it that she wants to confirm? Showcasing her dominance over him, Navier pushes him and grabs his face with both of her hands. Soon enough, Heinrey melts like a pet in the softness of her hands.
Navier confronts Heinrey about his distant behavior. He finally reveals that one of the members of the Zemensia family has heavily cursed him. And now he is afraid that if he touches Navier, this impurity will pass on to her. (Heinrey being the sweetest manhwa character we have ever come across!) Due to this anxiety, he gave her the sea stone and sprinkled salt in their room to keep any impure energy away.
The Remarried Empress Chapter 195 ends with Soviehsu waking up all bewildered and asking Marquess Karl why he is in his father’s chamber.
The Remarried Empress Chapter 196: Sovieshu’s Tragic Situation
The Remarried Empress Chapter 196 begins with Sovieshu asking about Navier and mentioning her getting hurt due to a peach when he fell from the tree. Karl tries to clarify that Navier is in the Western Empire. This angers him, and he again mentions that he and Navier got hurt while picking peaches yesterday.
Marquess Karl recollects this incident that happened even before Sovieshu ascended the throne and was 19 years old. He tries to make him remember what happened yesterday and tells him that Navier is now the Empress of the Western Empire and he fell from the window, not the peach tree. Clearly confused, he asks why they divorced and does Navier hates him. Karl clarifies that he brought a mistress in between them and divorced Navier. With full of rage, he gets out of the chamber and starts calling for Navier and his mother in the palace. After seeing that Navier’s room is actually empty, he falls to the ground, losing consciousness.

Marquess Karl’s Concern
Karl decides to tell him everything that happened with him slowly, so he doesn’t feel overwhelmed and lose control over his body. Seeing the picture of him and Navier on the wall, Sovieshu wonders what went wrong. And, who is that baby beside their picture? (Referring to Glorym’s picture) Out of curiosity, he asks Karl about her new husband. He gets up angrily and asks how that bratty kid (Prince Heinrey) could marry Navier just because she is heartbroken. With a heavy sigh, Karl replies that he is not a kid anymore. While he is blabbering about the absurdity of the situation, Karl is relieved that Sovieshu’s mind is stuck in the time he was learning how to run the kingdom. So, hopefully, he will still be able to govern.
The palace doctor informs that Sovieshu will fully recover when Evalie heals him using magic. He suggests he rest, and Sovieshu agrees to take a nap. But, as the night dawns, he springs up frightened, asking if Navier is all right. Karl manages to calm him down, reminding him about their previous conversation. The next morning, everything seems different because Sovieshu is all decked up, looking for his office. The Remarried Empress Chapter 196 ends with Soviehsu saying, “I have a bone to pick with my future self and a lot of questions for him, too.” (Lord knows what will happen next!)
