ToggleRefund High School Chapter 11: Technologically Challenged
Refund High School Chapter 11 starts with a cute moment involving Aru and Gunn in their never-ending banter, where Gunn makes her blush by wiping off the eyelash falling on her cheek. The titular school announces that the winner of the upcoming festival will win the lucky box. All the students get excited about the festival and vote Mook as the school representative. Aru gets excited and also invites Mook to join her photography quest to shoot the scenic beauty of the school, along with Gunn (of course).
Another quite hilarious scene was where the creator termed Mook as ‘Technologically challenged’ because Mook had no clue how to start the camera. Mr. San then announces that the students who couldn’t join any group, will have to participate in the ‘Horror Maze’, leaving Sua astonished as she now has to join it. She regrets not accepting the offer from the swimming team.
Sua then requests Aru to visit Mr. San’s office with her to convince him, but both of them witness a jaw-dropping moment, as Mr. San is sitting with his glasses off, looking fine and pretty. After seeing him, they leave the room in a rush, without even trying to convince him. Refund High School Chapter 11 ends with Mr. San watching Mook being offered a pearl stone type of thing which he gulps leaving Mr. San in shock.
Refund High School Chapter 12: Asking Out People for the ‘Truth Time’
Refund High School Chapter 12 starts with Mook feeling stronger than usual after swallowing the pearl stone. Mr San then enters their shared dorm room and sees Mook lifting the heavy box with no trouble, and warns Mook to not mention his new found strength to other people, I mean why? Mr. San answers the mystery saying that it’s for Mook’s benefit.
It’s time to ask people for the ‘Truth Time’ for tomorrow’s festival. Everyone is discussing and excited to ask out Aru, but guess who Aru is going to ask? Gunn – of course! Meanwhile, Mook brushes off this question by saying that he has no interest in these things. And, Sua drops the hints that she has already been asked out. In this chapter, we also see a new character, a class bully, who destroys Sua’s beautiful wall painting with red spray paint. As a result, the teacher scolds him making the bully more angry towards Sua and her group.
Amidst all this, Aru writes a letter to Gunn, mentioning those cheesy lines “I’ve liked you from the moment I saw you!” (I mean this line never fails)
The chapter concludes with the bully in his room, filled with weird ghost pictures and posters stuck on his wall. On his own, he states “Just wait. I’ll find it no matter what!” Find out what? Ugh, let’s move on to the next chapter, I can’t wait to find the answers to my curious questions.
Refund High School Chapter 13: Does Gunn Like Aru Back?
Refund High School Chapter 13 begins with our favourite duo, Aru and Gunn decorating the school, where they suddenly get approached to model for the photography club. Without a doubt, Aru is currently on cloud nine. After Aru leaves, Gunn gets approached by a bunch of classmates and gets bombarded with the question, “Do you like Aru Kim?” I mean, I saw this question coming because both of them are always together, but to my, and my classmates’ surprise, Gunn says that he only sees her as a friend. I mean what? Not another one-sided angle in another Korean webtoon, okay!
Then we see Mari and Sehui practising and admiring the girls who were present in the competition last year. On their way, Mari and Sehui get interrupted by a spirit rushing, saying “I’m late! I’m late!” Mari gets frustrated about how could someone rudely interrupt her and decides to follow the spirit. Refund High School Chapter 13 ends with Mari lashing out at the bully, “What do you guys think you’re doing, ganging up on that one kid?” The class bully couldn’t bear that someone was as outspoken as him, and threatened Mari by grabbing her jaw, “Has this little brat lost her mind?”

Refund High School Chapter 14: The Reincarnation High Festival
Refund High School Chapter 14 starts with Aru and Gunn chitchatting about their crush; Aru dismisses his question saying it’s a secret. Gunn couldn’t get his mind out of the topic. He keeps wondering if Aru really likes him or not. Meanwhile, Mook is being shown taking out the garbage and is quite upset but the reason is not known to either Mr. San or me.
It’s time for the festival to begin, and everyone is excited about the day. There are shops, games, and small stalls all around. Mari challenges herself and chooses the stall where they are serving the hot-spicy food challenge. Whereas, Sehui comes across the ‘Goldfish Boutique’ and joins in to look pretty on the stage for her dance performance.
Mari is still waiting for Sehui to come as they are already getting late for the performance. Sehui comes with a full face of makeup and Mari can’t hold it in and says “Baha. What’s up with your face? Are we on candid camera?” (Peak mean girl behaviour). Sui comes forward and helps Sehui to fix her makeup. (She’s such a girl’s girl)
Mari then sees the spirit that she encountered yesterday and interrupts him by asking “Why are you with those bullies, are they blackmailing you?” naming the bullies as ‘Gang of Weasels’. The spirit replied quietly and asked her to forget whatever happened yesterday. However, Mari being Mari, questioned it. She asks what is really going on, and the spirit replies, “I just couldn’t find what they told me to find.” “Find what?” To which he replies, “THE INFERNAL SPIRIT!”
Refund High School Chapter 15: Mari and Sehui’s Performance
Refund High School Chapter 15 starts with Sehui entering the place with even pettier makeup. Mai acknowledges it by saying, “thank God you’re not late” and how it’s better than that weird lady’s makeup. The dance performance is finally going to start and our Mari is hushing away the nervous feeling by playing games. I mean, she’s such a cool character. Meanwhile, Sui shows her support by writing ‘HUI-MARI’, such a sweet gesture.
The dance performance begins with cheers all around, “You’re gorgeous Sehui! I love you, Mari!” The performance ends and everyone is so impressed by the performance that they think the girls really belong in a music group or something. On the other hand, Gunn replies to Aru saying she is pretty too. This comment caught her off guard but Gunn just sways it off as if he said nothing.
What Will Happen Next?
The next event is by the photography club, and everyone is excited to take a photo near the photo zone. Gunn denies other’s requests for a photo with, Aru making excuses such as he has to stand at the entrance. He also says, “Aru said no”. I mean that’s quite possessive but I’m not complaining.
When one of their classmates mentioned that Gunn had previously said he sees Aru only as a friend, Aru gets upset. She decides to go to the horror maze and surprisingly, completes the whole maze by asking every scary being in there, “Does he like me? Should I ask him?” She also becomes the first person to complete the horror maze and gets awarded a photograph and a certificate that says, “Brave soul! The goddess of victory is on your side!” Aru was also supposed to receive a prize, but she rushes off outside. The next event was the most awaited, ‘Proposal Time!’- The highlight of the reincarnation high festival!
Overall Verdict
Refund High School Chapters 11-15 showed more of the ‘Aru-Gunn’ relationship than the other mysteriousness of the original plot. But this duo moving forward is likeable as there is hope in what comes next. It is clear that both Aru and Gunn definitely like each other but the creator really did their job by giving this a friendship angle first, rather than romantic. I am still hinged to the Refund High School manhwa and want to know how this relation moves ahead.
If you felt that these chapters were leaned toward the ‘Aru-Gunn’ bond too, then how do you think they look together? Are you also hinged with Refund High School like I am? Let us know in the comments below your views on Refund High School.
