Eunhyeok And Su-ae’s Growing Friendship
In the previous chapter review, we finally met the mastermind behind the Jellypop mystery. What is the real motive of the Marang Entertainment owner? On the other hand, Su-ae gets betrayed by both Minu and Ra-im, and she wonders how easily her sister crosses boundaries. Now, she has a foolproof plan to get Minu back, but she needs to convince Eunhyeok. Without further ado, let’s see what happens in Operation True Love Chapter 25-30.
Operation True Love Chapter 25: Ra-Im’s Emotions
Operation True Love Chapter 25 begins with Minu and Ra-im in an empty classroom, where he tries to explain to her what happened. Well, quite literally, he is trying to manage both the girls because he is in a conflicted situation with the sisters. Ra-im, being Ra-im, straight up, says, “You don’t need to walk on eggshells around me.” This remark shows how little she expects out of anyone.
In Operation True Love Chapter 25, we learn how Ra-im’s perfectly healthy family affects her as a foster child. She is very observant of how Su-ae’s parents treat her, and this action shows that she is constantly left out of things. Operation: True Love is a young adult webtoon, and Ra-im and Su-ae play two opposite but equally relatable characters. Ra-im tries to fill her void by constantly keeping someone with her, or, best to say, stealing whoever is close to Su-ae.
Minu asks if the injury hurts a lot, and Ra-im asks, “Can you give me a piggyback ride?”
In the next scenario, Su-ae gets an earful from her art teacher for slacking off and getting injured. Fortunately, the arcade room lifts up her mood, and she gets ready to blow off some heat. Gamer “Aesu” shows off her gaming skills, and out of pity for the hooded stranger beside her, she takes his gun and hits the new record. She doesn’t get the time to interact with the guy, but it’s none other than Dohwa Baek. Operation True Love Chapter 25 ends on this intriguing note.
Chapter 26: Marang And Dohwa
Operation True Love Chapter 26 begins with Dohwa looking at Su-ae getting in the car while he stands holding her books. In the next scene, Cheolsu Kim, the general manager of the recruiting team of Marang Entertainment, gives him his card. Surprisingly, Dohwa says, “You don’t know when to give up, do you?” This remark hints at his frustration, signalling that this is not the first time Marang Entertainment has approached him. He tries to shun the strange man, saying he can’t sing or dance, and cameras make him nauseous. Adamant, Cheolsu tries to convince him that those things aren’t important; he has a star quality. But Dohwa tosses the card in the trash and walks away.
In the next scene, we see the Marang owner looking at a casting list, and Dohwa Baek is at the top. (What does that supposed to mean? What is he planning?)
The next day, Su-ae is planning to convince Eunhyeok to shake hands on a deal. When giving him an eraser, covering his sleepy eyes from the sun, and more doesn’t work, she pulls his sleeve and asks, “Are you really not going to hear me out?” Meanwhile, Dohwa appears and sits right in front of Su-ae. Operation True Love Chapter 26 ends with him dropping her books on her desk that he acquired yesterday.

Chapter 27: Toxic Nature of Minu
Operation True Love Chapter 27 begins with an intrigued Eunhyeok, who is curious to see Su-ae chatting with Dohwa. He leaves when one of his friends asks if he wants to go to the cafeteria. Back to their banter, Sua interrogates why he gave only two books and where the rest is. In response, Dohwa says home with a sweet smile on his face. Confused, Su-ae asks why her books are at his place; with a sly face, he says they are heavy.
Su-ae asks when she can have the rest of the books back; he urges her to come closer. “You’re Ae-su, right?” Hearing this, she thinks he knows about her writer identity, but Dohwa only refers to gamer Ae-su. He proposes a deal: every time he hits a new record, he will give her one book. This conversation makes her understand that the hooded guy from yesterday was Dohwa Baek. All of a sudden, Minu, with his overprotective attitude, appears and grabs Su-ae, informing the teacher that he’s looking for her. Before she leaves, Dohwa tells her to meet him if she wants the rest of her books.
In the corridor, Minu asks, “What did you talk about with Dohwa?” Su-ae frankly tells him that Dohwa wants her to help him with games. In response, he belittles her, saying, “Is he that terrible that he’s asking you?” He asks her not to do it and also says, “You’re being a bit weird these days, you know that, right? Eunhyeok and now this…” (Coming from a cheater, this sounds hilarious!)
Su-ae’s Plan
In the next scenario of Operation True Love Chapter 27, Su-ae goes to Eunhyeok’s place for homework a little early, and their other classmate bails out. Following the homework, she tries her best to convince him to participate in her plan. This plan will help her get back to Minu and help him get back to Ra-im. Shocked, he asks, “Why on Earth do you think I like Ra-im?” Su-ae says she has seen things. She chalks out the plan and how it’s perfect and beneficial for them.
Seeing Eunhyeok, still not convinced, she says she might have to find someone else who likes her and maybe date that guy for real. This revelation makes him feel a certain way. Operation True Love Chapter 27 ends with Eunhyeok repeating, “So if I say no…you’ll asks someone else?” (Eunhyeok is a lot like Mook from Refund High School) Operation True Love Chapter 27 ends with a curious Eunhyeok, leaving readers curious to learn if he will agree.
Operation True Love Chapter 28: Eunhyeok’s Warning
Operation True Love Chapter 28 begins with Eunhyeok asking Su-ae if she thinks of him as a pushover. They have a cute little moment where she says he is fit for the plan because he is handsome but immediately says, “I mean, somewhat okay looking…” With a smirk on his face, he decides to make her feel a little more flustered and says flattery goes a long way. Eventually, he denies being a part of this play and warns her that she would be making herself a cheater by doing this.
Ra-im’s Conflicted Emotions About Su-ae
In the next scenario of Operation True Love Chapter 28, Su-ae is thinking about her conversation with Eunhyeok at a park. Soon, Ra-im and Dohwa arrive, but they don’t know Su-ae is around. Dohwa asks Ra-im what she wants to talk about, and she says. “Wanna go out?” Surprised, he urges her to be more transparent. Creating a sense of mystery, she replies. “I thought maybe if I have something good, I won’t want what’s not mine.” (She is talking about Minu.) Well, one thing is clear: she is not interested in Dohwa but wants him around as a distraction.
On the other hand, Su-ae listens to this weird conversation without their knowing it. As Ra-im continues, she reveals her conflicted emotions towards her sister. She says, “I really like her a lot. But I hate her as much as I like her…Maybe that’s why I want to take something from her.” He is absolutely confused and starts walking around without knowing why she is telling her all this. As he mounts the slide, he sees Su-ae but decides not to disclose this to her sister.
Su-ae’s Protective Nature
Operation True Love Chapter 28 shows Su-ae’s protectiveness towards her new friend, Eunhyeok. At Café Cross, Juho, Eunhyeok, and Su-ae are discussing their project when she sees their music teacher, Ms. Juhui, with a fairly aged man. Seeing his face, she immediately thinks she has seen him before, and it is none other than Eunhyeok’s father.
Eunhyeok, unaware of their presence, decides to leave the café with his friends. But Su-ae thinks to herself that he can’t see his father with another woman. She remembers the time she saw her sister with her boyfriend and how betrayed she felt. So she rushes up to him, pulls the strings of hoodie so he can’t see anything, and drags him to the counter. After buying the ice cream, as they get out, there is his father with their music teacher AGAIN! Without contemplating too much, she pushes him to the side and enters a photo booth. Operation True Love Chapter 28 ends with Eunhyeok and Su-ae taking some pictures.
Operation True Love Chapter 29: Amusement Park
Operation True Love Chapter 29 begins with Su-ae and Eunhyeok excitedly checking their pictures. And surprisingly, he took one copy. Later, he says he won’t go to cram school but rather hit home. Scared, she tries to stop him so he doesn’t see his father with Ms. Juhui. She asks if he wants to watch a movie. Eunhyeok says, “Su-ae, you don’t need to try that hard. I already know that my dad’s cheating with the music teacher.” He continues, “That’s why I don’t want to cheat with you.” Meanwhile, the Marang owner is watching all this and has decided that little intervention is required.
In the next scenario of Operation True Love Chapter 29, the students visit an amusement park. Su-ae and her friends are having fun, but on one of the rides, a strange man with sunglasses and a beanie sits beside her. (It’s the CEO of Marang Entertainment!) When the ride ends, he leaves his red scarf behind. But before Su-ae could reach him, he disappeared into the crowd. She receives a strange call confirming the scarf is a gift.
Su-ae and her friends bump into Eunhyeok and his friends and they decide to make a group. They enter a store where she sees Minu helping Ra-im pick a headband. Su-ae taps his arms and asks if the headband suits her, to which Minu replies, “Yeah, it’s fine.” Later, he puts a bulgy frog eye headband on her and laughs. But Eunhyeok doesn’t let her get embarrassed for a moment and put a bunny headband on her head. He puts the same headband on himself, turns to Minu and asks, “What do you think? Aren’t we cute?” Operation True Love Chapter 29 ends with this sassy remark.
Operation True Love Chapter 30: Gentleman Eunhyeok
At the beginning of Operation True Love Chapter 30, Minu retorts, saying the bunny ears don’t look good on Su-ae. Eunhyeok confirms, saying, “The bunny ears look good on you.” He gets flustered and runs out of the store, thinking it was all very cringy of him.
In the next scene, as the group sits to enjoy the meal, someone spills their food on Su-ae’s hoodie and runs away. (It’s the CEO of Marang Entertainment AGAIN!) While cleaning her hoodie in the washroom, she hears a few girls talking about Dohwa and his debut. She throws the hoodie with a frown face. The empty table signals that her friends have left, but Eunhyeok waits for her with churros. And, being the gentleman that he is, he removes his jacket and puts it on a trembling Su-ae.
Meanwhile, Ra-im is watching her sister and Eunhyeok walking together. A very excited Minu with chocolate and strawberry churros in hand comes up to Ra-im. She doesn’t pay heed to him or the snacks and asks him to join his friends. Operation True Love Chapter 30 ends with Minu watching Su-ae and Eunhyeok giggling together.
