In Operation True Love Chapter 31-36, let’s see how much Su-ae and Eunhyeok’s relationship develops and how Minu and Ra-im affect the main leads. Eunhyeok’s Feelings And Minu’s Insecurity
Operation True Love Chapter 31: Minu’s Pride
Operation True Love Chapter 31 begins with Minu reflecting on the time he started dating Su-ae. Even in his recollection, he knew that Ra-im was not the right fit for him, but he was attracted to her. He decided not to make a move until Ra-im kissed him. He said he would end things with his girlfriend, but Ra-im interjected, saying, “Then Su-ae will get hurt.” In the beginning, it was hard for him to face Su-ae, but soon, he learned how to act. Finally, when she broke up with him, he felt a sense of relief. However, that feeling didn’t last long because now rumours about her and Eunhyeok started circulating. And Minu decided to ask for another chance.
Back at an amusement park, Minu asks Su-ae to join him for a Ferris wheel ride, but in reality, he wants to take her away from Eunhyeok. He interrogates if she is wearing Eunhyeok’s jacket. After she explains what happened, he removes his jacket, hands it over to her and says, “You have a boyfriend; if you go around like that, people will think you’re easy.” Initially, Su-ae misreads his actions, thinking he is jealous, but later realizes he just cares about his pride. After a brief argument regarding his relationship with Ra-im, he leaves, saying, “Do whatever you want.”
In the next scene, Minu sits beside Eunhyeok, and when he asks where Su-ae is, he warns him to stay out of their business. He retorts, saying, “I have to because you can’t even take care of your own girlfriend.” He finds her crying in a corner, holds her hand, and moves towards the Ferris wheel, saying, “Let’s go. I’ll let you be as dramatic as you want.” (Eunhyeok is romantic without even trying.)
Chapter 32: Su-ae’s Methods
Operation True Love Chapter 32 begins with the Ferris wheel stopping suddenly while Eunhyeok and Su-ae are at the top. On the other hand, the CEO of Marang Entertainment looks at the main leads from the ground and says, “Tsk, how romantic!” (Pretty sure this guy has something to do with the ride’s issue.) Seeing Eunhyeok without a jacket, she tries to return his jacket, but he refuses and says he is fine. After that, adorably, Su-ae puts the red scarf (the one the CEO left beside Su-ae) on his neck. Out of the blue, he says, “Let’s cheat.”
The next day in school, the awkwardness between the main leads is palpable. When Su-ae excuses herself for the bathroom, Eunhyeok reads all the methods she has chalked out to make her plan work. Operation True Love Chapter 32 ends with him listening to her ‘chitter chatter’.
Operation True Love Chapter 33: Harsh Eunhyeok
Operation True Love Chapter 33 begins with Eunhyeok being really close to Su-ae as he tries to grab a book from her bag. But this closeness makes her blush really bad, offering us readers another adorable moment. In the next scene, Ra-im appears and quite cockily starts talking about the rumours of Su-ae and Eunhyeok being a mere misunderstanding. However, both of them remain quiet, which compels Ra-im to ask if they are talking about something secretive. To this, Eunhyeok replies, “Yeah, so can you leave us alone.” (We would say it was harsh, but Ra-im deserved it.) Operation True Love Chapter 33 ends with a friendly moment between Dohwa and Su-ae.

Operation True Love Chapter 34: Dohwa And Su-ae
Operation True Love Chapter 34 continues with Dohwa and Su-ae passing notes to each other while studying in the library. After a while, she dozes off, and he suggests they hit the arcade. She calls him a weirdo for keeping her books all along. Meanwhile, Minu is present in the arcade and leaves with an annoyed face after seeing them having fun. This leaves Su-ae confused, but she focuses on teaching Dohwa how to play. Seeing a man, he grabs her hand and enters a karaoke room to hide himself. She thinks he owes them some money, and she starts singing to stop that man from entering the room. He praises her singing skill, which prompts her to ask him to sing, and he sings like an idol, not a trainee.
Operation True Love Chapter 34 ends with Ra-im asking Eunhyeok if he wants to walk home together since it’s been a while.
Operation True Love Chapter 35: Eunhyeok’s Visit
Operation True Love Chapter 35 begins with Ra-im asking Eunhyeok to walk home with her and says she wants to discuss something. He bluntly asks her to talk about it here because he isn’t going with her. This compels her to bring up Su-ae and asks if she has asked him to do this. Expressing his protective nature towards Su-ae, he asks, “What does Su-ae have to do with anything? Why would you think something like that?” He walks away after letting her know that all of it is her fault.
In the next scenario of Operation True Love Chapter 35, Dohwa returns Su-ae’s books. Shocked, she asks why he is returning all the books at once, to which he replies they are too heavy to carry around. Before he leaves, she reminds him they still have much to practice.
While Su-ae is about to get inside the elevator, she comes across Ra-im, and it reminds her of all the previous incidents. Eunhyeok calls Su-ae, and she engages him in a fake conversation, pretending he is coming over for studies tomorrow. Without checking the phone, she falls asleep and wakes up at noon. She checks her phone, sees a few texts and calls from her parents, and learns she will be alone all day. At 6:30 p.m., she wakes up from her nap by the sound of the doorbell. Operation True Love Chapter 35 ends with Eunhyeok at Su-ae’s doorstep.
Chapter 36: Comfortable Silence
Operation True Love Chapter 36 begins with a surprised Su-ae asking why Eunhyeok is here. He reminds him that she asked him to come over. As they small talk, Ra-im arrives with her friends for a study session. (Well, clearly, she wants to stay home and check on Su-ae!) Within the blink of an eye, Su-ae pushes Eunhyeok into her room and slams the door close. She is confused because Ra-im never brings her study group home. Moreover, they will likely study all night. (What will happen to poor Eunhyeok?)
Eunhyeok is sitting on the floor, confused about what’s happening, and Su-ae reveals he will have to stay hidden in her room all night. (Interesting! That’s what he said!) Being alone and silent in the room with him felt too much for her, “Wanna listen to music?” He quietly takes the other part of the earphone to his ears, and Su-ae hops on the bed. Within a split second, our main leads came close, creating another adorable moment. Flustered, they turn their faces away from each other, and she rushes out of the room to get some food. While in the living room, she overhears Ra-im’s friend mentioning it’s Eunhyeok’s birthday tomorrow.
Back in her room, Su-ae falls asleep after studying for a while. Seeing her asleep, Eunhyeok takes the pen and notebook from her hand and keeps them away. (Isn’t Eunhyeok the sweetest?) Operation True Love Chapter 36 ends with Su-ae and Eunhyeok looking at each other with their half-asleep eyes.
