My Lucky Strike Chapter 11: Rumors, Regrets, and Rigid Punishments

Siru, Gibaek and Gukhwa(My Lucky Strike Chapter 11-20)
Siru, Gibaek and Gukhwa(My Lucky Strike Chapter 11-20)

My Lucky Strike Chapter 11 starts by Siru asking if that messed-up drunken tale was everything, as told by Cheong. She apologizes profusely, clearly mortified. At the same time, in another confusing plot thread, Siho asks Gukhwa about supposedly being in a relationship with Siru. Gukhwa quickly vets any idea of romance, saying they are more like siblings. But there’s already some chatter, thanks to Bang-A’s sizzling drama scandal.

Back in the mock room, they enter a version straight out of a sitcom—a Siru on his knees in the mad self-punishment pose. Cheong looks mortified while Siru dramatically says this is her way of restraining herself, and she’s trying to apologize. She bails on drinking forever and goes full martyr, doing whatever the group forces her to do. Gibaek, trying to strip it of the theatrics, just says to her to bust the sanding styrofoam.

And thus Siru becomes a two-hour styrofoam sanding bot—so deeply absorbed that everyone else just stands by in a mixture of awe, concern, and admiration. Eventually, she dozes off mid-task. The other group candidates step up and let her be. Seeing she’s chilly, Cheong quietly throws a jacket over her. Siru, half asleep, wakes up and misunderstands, thinking that it’s Gibaek taking care of her. Then, of course, it melts—only to find out it was Cheong helping her with the jacket.

After almost finishing the work, Gibaek notes that Cheong doesn’t even wear a jacket in the frigid cold weather, leaving us to wonder, who is watching over whom?

With a lot of unrequited love, misread signals, and full jacket suggestions, My Lucky Strike Chapter 11 wraps up.

Chapter 12: Of Sleepless Nights & Sleepy Confessions

Siru and Cheong
Siru and Cheong

My Lucky Strike Chapter 12 opens with everyone finally completing most of their mock room assignment after a crazy all-nighter. Everyone leaves home, and the next morning looks like it’s been 48 hours since their last caffeine fix. Cheong, exhausted to his bones, boards the bus half asleep and thinks about that night.

Blip back to that “Night” Cheong fumbling around, trying to carry a drunk Siru to her bed—she may be small, but she’s surprisingly hard to move when she’s out cold. Just as he finally calms her down and tries to leave, she sleepily grabs his hand, and his heart does a little flip. Teasing, he playfully decides to get his revenge on that infamous lip bite by playfully pinching her nose while she sleeps.

Before he exits, he checks his phone and sees a missed call from Mijeol-In. When he gets a call back, the voice on the other end of the line says that Cheong is outdone this time. Cheong immediately leaves hurriedly, leaving a note for Siru on her bedside.

Back in the present, Cheong is on the bus, thinking about Siru’s dramatic ‘I’ll do anything’ from earlier, and wondering what kind of storm she will bring next. Meanwhile, Siru, eaten up with guilt, decides to buy ointments for the war wounds she inflicted on both Gibaek and Cheong.

Just as she’s about to get more about that fateful night from a senior, Gibaek walks into the room – to find her in mid-conversation with his friend Miru. His look of confusion speaks for itself.

My Lucky Strike Chapter 12 is all about secrets unfolding, surprise encounters, and a very confused Gibaek.

My Lucky Strike Chapter 13: Crushed Feelings & Crushed Aspirins

Siru and Gibaek(My Lucky Strike Chapter 11-20)
Siru and Gibaek(My Lucky Strike Chapter 11-20)

My Lucky Strike Chapter 13 starts with a flashback to that “Night” of the infamous party, when Gibaek, battered and dazed, walks out with Siru hanging on his shoulder. His friends watching him get knocked around all night, naturally freaking out and continuing to call him. When he finally came back, he looked like he had wrestled a bear and lost, and just told them to forget everything. Including Siru. That’s Gibaek for ya, a human pressure cooker who keeps everything locked in and will not let anyone assist.

Cut to the present: one of those worried friends, Miru, tells Siru the whole story. He also explains how Gibaek usually bears loads quietly, how much he cares, even when things get messy. The friend acknowledges that he’s aware of the situation between Siru and Gibaek being as awkward as it gets, but hopes that this truth will free up a little bit of this air.

Okay, Gibaek comes in, and the friend gets the heck out. Siru works up the nerve and gives some ointment—belated, but genuine. Gibaek, ever the smooth operator, sweeps it under the rug as he ruffles her hair. Of course, Siru becomes a blushing mess. Gibaek looks far away, but to her, he’s a person she respects – a person she wants to be more like.

More Revelations

Then, when Gukhwa comes, Gibaek gets out to smoke and allows himself to think about that night. After handing Siru off to Cheong, he’d doubled back just in time to see that kiss. It caught him off guard, and bewilderingly, had his chest twisting in a strange.

Now, he still wonders—if Siru liked him, why could she kiss Cheong?

My Lucky Strike Chapter 13 goes to a place of emotional ashes, smoldering questions, and an unrequited crush simmering beneath the surface.

Chapter 14: Parachutes, Projects & Perplexing Emotions

Cheong and Gibaek
Cheong and Gibaek

My Lucky Strike Chapter 14 starts with Siru and Gukhwa, starting up for their group project. When working, Gukhwa casually reveals Gibaek is a sketching master, even though he’s redoing the course because of his break for his military service. He’s also got a “parachute pass” – a golden ticket that lets a student, for example, blast out of the afternoon sessions of his killer 6-credit class if he meets the professor’s expectations.

As they talk, Siru incorrectly assumes Gukhwa wants to inherit a farm (spoiler: nope), resulting in a ridiculously hilarious heart-to-heart about how both of them ended up in this course by mistake. Tied up by shared problems, they forget about their worries with a nap.

Fast forward—projects submitted, and surprise! The teacher commends them for doing the measurements exactly right. But before they can party, another job falls. Yep, another day, another build.

Now it’s drawing time, and Gibaek’s drawing is so good, it should be in a gallery. Even Cheong scores and gets a parachute pass of his own. While everyone’s shouting for them, Siru’s mood darkens—she can’t help but feel like she’s the only one without an ace to call her own.

After class, just as she goes to give him something, Gibaek swoops in and takes her hand, subtly telling her about that afternoon.

With leftover business, untapped skills, and one very lost heart that’s still caught in the middle, My Lucky Strike Chapter 14 concludes.

My Lucky Strike Chapter 15: Awkward Apologies & Missed Goals

Siru and Cheong(My Lucky Strike Chapter 11-20)
Siru and Cheong(My Lucky Strike Chapter 11-20)

My Lucky Strike Chapter 15 starts with Siru finally giving Cheong the long overdue ointment, along with a sheepish apology. Trying to put things into perspective, Cheong just asks if she feels strange around him now. Siru confesses that everything gets awkward, especially since he is aware of her feelings for Gibaek.

Infuriated by her candor, Cheong is about to leave when Siru stops him and tells him to tell her what he wants. He flat-out tells her to make time for him that day. She stammers, saying she already has plans, which gets Cheong’s patience. To release the tension, Siru invites him to join him at a soccer match.

On the field later, Siru is in game mode while Gibaek and Gukhwa pep from the bench. Even when Cheong initially rejects the invite, he shows up anyway, only to leave before the match is over.

Watching the other team suffer the agony of their loss, Siru sees that Cheong is already gone. Her mind goes back to their last private conversation—one in which they agreed to finally meet and iron things out on Monday. But Cheong still hasn’t explained why she needed that day in particular… and the anticipation is killing her.

My Lucky Strike Chapter 15 wraps up with Siru left wondering if there’s something more valuable she just left behind in the game she just played.

Chapter 16: Lip Service & Soccer Confessions

Siru and Cheong
Siru and Cheong

My Lucky Strike Chapter 16 begins with Gibaek strolling alongside Gukhwa, nonchalantly giving him ointment when he tells him that he got injured from soccer. Gibaek attempts to innocently inquire about “a friend’s” business, but he’s asking a suspiciously personal question—if a girl has a crush on a guy, but then makes out with another dude just 10 minutes later, what does that even signify? Gukhwa, ever wise, has two opinions on the matter: either she was too shallow, or she was clutching at a momentary opportunity at something she understood she didn’t deserve. But, he says, the only way to find out for sure is to ask her yourself.

Back in the dorm, Gibaek finds a long hair in the bathroom and rebukes Gukhwa, assuming it’s Siru. As he showers, his mind is whirling about his own emotions, clearly not just “platonic” anymore.

At this time, Cheong hesitates on how to use the ointment Siru gave him after his lips have already become well. On Monday, the group is surprised to see Cheong with a brand-new lip piercing. When asked why, he laughs and says it’s because Siru gave him ointment—so he got himself a “new wound” for it. Siru freaks out and tells him to take it off because it reminds her of “that night”. Cheong says it is real, so she pulls it out, only for him to yelp—then laugh, and it turns out it was a fake piercing and a big old prank.

Siru is speechless with the prank, meanwhile Cheong just finds it extremely hilarious. With Siru wondering how this guy survives, My Lucky Strike Chapter 16 concludes.

My Lucky Strike Chapter 17: Secrets, Sass & Ex-Factor Drama

Siru and Bagn-A(My Lucky Strike Chapter 11-20)
Siru and Bagn-A(My Lucky Strike Chapter 11-20)

My Lucky Strike Chapter 17 begins with Bang-A and her crew yapping like it’s their job, complaining about Siru being too rowdy. Just as their bickering reaches its most petty heights, Gukhwa appears in all his calm, stormy glory. He reveals Bang-A’s dirty little secret that she used a guy to do her work. As her reputation is quickly tarnished, Bang-A is left looking red-faced and speechless.

Fuming, she storms into the bathroom to find Siru already there. Looking at her with envy, Bang-A throws shade, saying Siru can’t even date any of the three guys because they are all “attached”. Siru unhurt, just calls her a donkey and checks out, pretty much confirming there’s no way they’ll ever be BFFs.

Back in class, almost spilling her secret dinner plans with Cheong, he hushes her—apparently, it’s hush-hush. As they walk away, they collide with a bunch of girls. One of them, a senior-aged Rookie-Ryu, asked Siru pointedly what she is to Cheong. Siru simply says “just friends,” but Ryu ominously warns her: Cheong has one jealous girl who can make Siru’s life hell.

Siru, understandably upset, has a word with him about it. He shrugs and says Ryu’s always been like that. The bombshell? Ryu is his ex. Bang-A and her girl crew made the whole run-in with Cheong just to get some drama. Ryu, on the other hand, still can’t help but find Cheong annoyingly handsome.

My Lucky Strike Chapter 17 has its tension mounting, sensations creating, secret bubbling, and Siru being unwittingly caught up in the aftermath of an old flame.

Chapter 18: Pencil Sketches & Green-Eyed Glances

Siru and Cheong
Siru and Cheong

My Lucky Strike Chapter 18 begins with Siru brushing off Ryu’s blown-up concern over Cheong’s jealous ex. Skipping the drama, Siru and Cheong arrive at their usual eatery, and Cheong surprises her with a sheet of paper and asks her in a sweet way to pick up a pencil. Despite her confusion, Siru listens intently as Cheong declares that he’ll teach her art himself – there’s no need to pay for pricey classes. Siru’s feeling is that her luck has turned around, and she calls this spur-of-the-moment session her first ever “Lucky Strike”. She figured he’d ask for something, but instead, he’s spending his time helping her grow her skills.

Cheong, ever serious, swears not to take advantage of her liking for Gibaek. Siru, touched, gently pats his head and tells him he’s genuinely great, making him blush downright bashfully.

Somewhere else, Rookie Ryu and her gang are eating waffles when Gibaek comes in. Rookie runs off from her friends to talk to Gibaek, which leaves Bang-A very jealous. As they speak, Rookie drops a bit of gossip: According to current rumors, Cheong is forming an intimate relationship with a girl, Siru. Gibaek’s expression? It is no wonder that we may as well call it a reaction so charged that it says a lot.

After dinner, Cheong and Siru leave for home. Cheong motivates her to work hard for drawing just as much as she does in soccer. Before he could ask if she was ready to go, his phone vibrated with a call from Mijeol, and he stopped in his tracks. They go their separate ways… as another figure comes near them, shouting from behind.

As My Lucky Strike Chapter 18 ends, readers meet the echo of an unknown voice on its heels.

My Lucky Strike Chapter 19: Drunk Buddies & Soccer Showdowns

Cheong and Gibaek(My Lucky Strike Chapter 11-20)
Cheong and Gibaek(My Lucky Strike Chapter 11-20)

My Lucky Strike Chapter 19 begins with the voice that belongs to Gukhwa who comes with his buddies, and, of course, a standard offer – They’re going out for drinks. Yet, everything goes haywire when Gukhwa’s so-called friends disappear when they are required, and it’s up to Siru and Cheong to manage a wild and absurdly inebriated Gukhwa.

Cheong remembers when Siru got wasted, which unleashed waves of insanity. But today’s surprise twist? Gukhwa casually lets slip that he and Siru once had a proper “drinking buddy contract.” An official agreement was signed amid alcohol. Cheong is both bewildered and awed.

A short journey into the past—Gukhwa tells how they initially became friends. In the beginning, they looked for someone playing soccer because there was one player less on each team. They threw a girl in at the last minute to fill in the numbers. Enter: Siru. But to everyone’s surprise, Siru came up and exhibited great abilities and eventually led the team to victory. Gibaek’s team lost the game, and he did not fail to keep his word by emptying a whole kettle of alcohol.

As soon as nostalgia begins to fill the air, Gibaek walks in, apparently, Gukhwa had invited him. When Gibaek sees the three of them together, his eyebrows go up significantly. He looks doubtful and wonders why they’ve come together, and guesses that Siru and Cheong were meeting up separately. Taken aback by the question, Siru snaps, “Huh… how’d you figure that out?”

As the characters start their evenings with some drinks, with Gibaek looking at them as if he suspects something between them, My Lucky Strike Chapter 19 ends.

Chapter 20: Soju Shots & Secret Calls

Siru and Gibaek
Siru and Gibaek

My Lucky Strike Chapter 20 begins with the crew high on their night of random drinking. What’s their new challenge they’ve invented? Bomb shots with soju. Everyone dares Cheong to a shot, and no one is surprised when he accepts, slamming it back in one sitting. Everybody cheers like mad and then, all of a sudden, Cheong slams onto the table, totally out cold. It turns out that Cheong can hardly manage his drink. The crowd lets it go, and before long, they are thinking – no one knows anything about Cheong.

Later on in the night, Siru leaves the room to take a phone message. It’s an old friend from the past, calling to check up on her knotted love life. The friend puts it out in the open, telling Siru that Gibaek might just be stringing her along, and comparing him to a person who always has other choices. Siru hangs up with hurt on her face, and as she goes back to the bar, she sees a girl flirting with Gibaek quietly. His cheeks are reddened, but nothing more happens.

That just makes the tension worse. Gibaek asks if Siru had dinner with Cheong alone. She admits the two had dinner, and immediately tells him that he has no claim to every aspect of her life. Tension brews. Gibaek storms out and goes out to have a smoke.

At this point, Siru gets to Cheong and is concerned about how she will get him moving, as he is out cold. At that point, Cheong’s phone glows, and it is Mijeol. As she picks up the call, a composed voice asks, “Are you Siru?”

My Lucky Strike Chapter 20 leaves the reader with numerous unanswered questions, and a ringing phone that can ignite the story into flames. Subscribe to AnimeMangaToon to know what happens in My Lucky Strike Chapter 21.
