My Lucky Strike follows Siru, a determined and sharp-witted student navigating the chaotic ups and downs of school life, complicated relationships, and unexpected family dramas. Over the past chapters, Siru has dealt with a whirlwind of emotions. Awkward confrontations with Gibaek, who tried to claim her as his girlfriend; tense but honest moments with Cheong, whose mysterious background and family ties add layers of intrigue. Also, the struggles of balancing school projects, friendship, and budding feelings.
Alongside these personal challenges, Siru’s family life has come into focus. Especially her younger brother, Gyeongdan’s mischievous antics that often leave her worried. Siru steps into new environments like staycations and banquets filled with hidden tensions. The story blends humor, drama, and heartfelt moments. Now, as the story approaches Chapter 51, the stage is set for deeper connections, subtle emotional shifts, and the quiet strengthening of bonds between Siru, Cheong, and those around them.
My Lucky Strike Chapter 51: Sunglasses, Siblings & Soaked Shirts

My Lucky Strike Chapter 51 starts with Siru saying that her little brother Gyeongdan is always getting into trouble, and he really worries her. Cheong, in a caring moment, smiles and says Gyeongdan feels safe because he knows Siru will come running. That little moment brings them a bit closer together. Siru tells Cheong that he looks different right now, without his sunglasses. He says he let someone borrow his sunglasses, and jokes that wearing them all the time is a kind of weird hobby.
All of a sudden, he takes her wrist and starts walking with her toward the exit. He just says that she and Gyeongdan are a lot alike because they’re always getting lost and causing drama. He offers her his shirt for her to grab the sleeves, so she doesn’t have to hold his hand. Siru is a little thrown off, but soon both of them are enjoying the easy walk. Cheong throws out the idea of them all getting together sometime, including Gyeongdan. Siru happily agrees.
While they’re walking, Siru, distracted by what she heard about Cheong’s family the night before, ends up sniffing his shirt automatically. Cheong catches her taking a whiff, looks totally surprised, and asks if he stinks before quickly moving away like a nervous schoolkid. Siru tells him it’s okay and runs after him, trying to give him the shirt right before a fountain sprays her. She just shrugs and doesn’t really care about being soaked. He tells her he’ll take the shirt and sunglasses back later, making her even more confused.
Sleeves, Showers, and Silent Goodbyes

While all that’s happening, Siru and her family are on their way back home from staying at the hotel. Cheong’s sunglasses are on Gyeongdan’s face, and he’s chattering nonstop, which has Siru telling herself to remember to give them back soon. Jabin and Siru both give each other silent looks full of annoyance as they ride back in awkward silence. Gyeongdan, as usual, doesn’t get it. He provides and says Siru is sitting in the back instead of up front because the sisters had a fight. Jabin throws an angry glare at him and says to keep it down.
As they go down the road, Siru can tell she’s starting to feel off, too. She quietly thinks to herself that if she had it, Cheong could be sick too, ending My Lucky Strike Chapter 51.
What Happened So Far?
Siru, who’s just trying to handle school, family, and who she is, keeps running into unexpected moments with Cheong. He is a quiet student who seems to have a lot more to him than meets the eye. When Siru accidentally gets coffee on her by a stranger, she’s amazed to find out he’s the new TA and works at LS Electrics. He’s interested in Siru’s thoughts on medical devices and gives her some encouragement, telling her to go for it instead of playing things safe. Even though Siru is a bit embarrassed, she can’t help but feel a little happy. When Cheong says he doesn’t like Jiho-Go, it sounds like there might be some jealousy there.
Right after, Siru and her family take a little staycation. In the middle of looking for Gyeongdan, Siru ends up being rescued by Cheong, who happens to be the chairwoman’s son at the hotel. Mijeol, who’s both tough and hard to read, suddenly shows up and tries to befriend Siru, which makes Siru really uneasy. Siru can’t believe it when Mijeol tells her that she’s Cheong’s sister. Meanwhile, Cheong going after Gyeongdan has him asking himself some strange questions: How can Siru and Gyeongdan be brother and sister if they don’t have the same last name?
As people return to the banquet hall, the mood becomes tense. Siru listens in on people saying Cheong is working for Mijeol because his family can’t pay back the money. Mijeol picks on Eunseo, a person Cheong knows, until Cheong steps in to stop her. After that, Jabin keeps pressuring Siru to network.
