My Bias Gets on the Last Train is a contemporary romance manhwa based around two music lovers who bond over their coincidental run-ins at the subway while waiting for the last train to arrive and mutual love for the anonymous band Long Afternoon. But while Yeowoon was simply a fan of the band, Haein harbours a bigger secret- she was Long Afternoon. From strangers to close friends, Haein and Yeowoon learn to overcome their past insecurities and trust each other. Let’s dive into My Bias Gets on the Last Train Chapter 31!
My Bias Gets on the Last Train Chapter 31: First Kiss

My Bias Gets on the Last Train Chapter 31 begins as Haein and Yeowoon leave the live music and cozy atmosphere of the small pub early. Strolling through the empty streets, Haein promises to bring Yeowoon back to the bar on a weekend for its all-night rock party. When she decides to get ice cream before they leave, Yeowoon buys them identical lemon popsicles. Perched on the curb of the sidewalk with their yellow ice creams, Haein tells him about the influx of student music bands to her studio due to the ongoing college festival season. Work had become extremely busy because of it.
They sit in silence for a moment before Yeowoon, deep in thought, asks Haein why she’d agreed to dine with him. According to him, the dinner plan seemed too impulsive for their first outing, but Haein reminds him of the countless times they’d spent the night- drinking, hanging out, and interrogating close friends to smooth over misunderstandings (the usual)- together. ‘I know too that there’s nothing left to confirm,’ he thinks to himself, ‘but I just can’t believe it.’ Haein had the same interests as him- rock music, spicy food, cozy pubs, and not to forget, lemon flavoured ice creams- and was such a ‘cool person’ who hadn’t lost sight of her dreams. All Yeowoon needed was proof of reciprocation… and now he had it.
Right there by the road, in the middle of the night, Yeowoon leans in and finally kisses Haein. The move, born from complete spontaneity and absence of thought, renders both of them speechless for a second.
The Aftermath

After the kiss, Haein abruptly gets up and, as if nothing happened, casually tells him to hurry. She had to make it to the music studio before the next session. They walk in silence as Yeowoon mentally reprimands himself for acting brashly. Before they part ways, Haein tells Yeowoon that they’d talk about “it” next time.
After she leaves, Yeowoon, blushing, stands alone for a moment thinking, ‘That was great…’ Meanwhile, Haein reaches the music studio with her mind racing and heart pounding. ‘I can’t think at all,’ she thinks, ‘I really feel like I’m going crazy.’ She puts a mask on to hide her red face. That night, Yeowoon gazes at his ceiling, realizing ‘That’s probably a moment I’ll never forget.’
Simultaneously, Ms. Oh and Hyeonjae awkwardly recognize each other at a bar, but make no move to start a conversation, concluding My Gets on the Last Train Chapter 31.
What Happened So Far?
Previously in My Bias Gets on the Last Train, Ah-Reun, a girl from Yeowoon’s past, astonishingly reappears in his life without a notice. She begins to visit the cafe, trying to goad Yeowoon into opening up, and pesters him about letting the past go. Ah-Reun, saying that she just wanted to be friends again, pushes him to the point of discomfort. After she arbitrarily brings up their past over a late-night phone call, Yeowoon finally puts a stop to her manipulative shenanigans. Later, he asks Haein out for dinner (his priorities are clear as day).
Meanwhile, Haein (or Long Afternoon) collaborates with Hyeonjae, a famous indie singer and songwriter, on their new single ‘Ecosystem’. Inspired by Yeowoon’s bravery, Haein agrees to film a music video and meets with Ina, a talented media artist, for the same. Haein’s enigmatic onscreen personality immediately wins over Ina, who offers to make her a Long Afternoon music video free of cost. Hyeonjae tries to persuade Haein to join his label, but sadly, never gets a chance to ask her.
On the night of their date, Yeowoon brings Haein to a spicy food restaurant and proudly talks about ordering his usual ‘level three’ jjambbong. But when it comes to ordering, Haein orders a secret ‘level six’ on the spice charts, embarrassing Yeowoon. Afterwards, the duo heads to one of Haein’s favourite places- a small bar with free live music.
