Hand Jumper is the best action-thriller webtoon, centered around Sayeon- no wonder she thinks the world revolves around her. As she uses- or abuses- her ability to rewind time, her strong sense of probity begins blurring into a twisted set of morality and megalomania. Obsessed with bringing justice to the world, she lusts after points to help her rise in the Aberrant Corps. Simultaneously, she deals with soul-crushing grief after the loss of her best friend. Isn’t that an infallible recipe for a slow spiral into madness? Previously in Hand Jumper, Ryujin recognizes Yesol, her found-sister from the Concordat, before Juni fights her. Will Ryujin fulfill her childhood promise to save Yesol? ….And will Sayeon play along with it? Let’s find out in Hand Jumper Chapter 91!
Hand Jumper Chapter 91: A Mad Mind to Pull Off A Mad Idea

Hand Jumper Chapter 91 begins as the world blurs around Sayeon while she chases after Ryujin. She crashes into a pedestrian, headfirst, and stumbles onto the ground. The man notices her suit and tie, and immediately panics. He checks his app for Aberrant fighting alerts– and finding none, huffs in annoyance. The woman beside him advises him not to trust the app, pulling him away from Sayeon.
Turns out that tripping onto the sidewalk would take Sayeon down memory lane. She remembers Jaeil and his nonchalant glance at the Aberrant fight alert a few blocks away. While Sayeon freaked out, he kept his cool and continued to wolf down his corn dog.
A sudden depression overwhelms Sayeon. Jaeil… she couldn’t think of him without breaking down. She shakily stands up and continues to dash in Ryujin’s direction. ‘A crushing sense of isolation’ and ‘quiet fear’ overtake her senses until she loses her way. Just as she contemplates how, after Jaeil, no one understood her anymore when an arm reaches out to grab her.
Wearing The Most Flattering Shade of Anguish

Ryujin pulls Sayeon into an alleyway. And shockingly, she begs for her help. An explanation for everything begins to pour out of Ryujin’s desperate lips as she tells Sayeon all about her close friendship with Yesol and her determination to free her from Juni. Ryujin promises to help Sayeon in any of her schemes if she just helps her this once.
Taking her plea a step further, she attempts to persuade her with the possibility of gaining points. However, Sayeon remains doubtful; Ryujin was asking her to aid a “criminal” (you’re not in a good position to say this, Sayeon). She murdered Iseul. Helping her is not only morally reprehensible… is it even possible?’ she thinks, focusing on the more important latter. She runs through the multitude of ways the idea of helping an extremely powerful rogue escape the Corps could fail. “Do you think I’m a god?” she asks Ryujin with a dismissive wave of her hand.
Sayeon begins to walk away… but suddenly Ryujin drops to her knees. “She’s the only one I have left. Please,” she utters in completely uncharacteristic despair. Sayeon stops and stands still. She turns slightly towards the figure crouched to the ground, thinking, “How could you be so apathetic all the time, Ryujin Kang… when desperation looks this good on you?”
Sayeon approaches Ryujin and makes her vow to follow her plan to the tee. First order of business: they would find the man she bumped into before. Sayeon’s eyes glint with the activation of her teal essence (…but is that really why they seem to light up?), concluding Chapter 91.
What Happened So Far?
Previously in Hand Jumper, Sayeon and her cell run into a young Aberrant boy, Changsub, leading to a catastrophic turn of events. They end up battling Yesol, a Sea Wolf captain, who wanted to ensure Changsub’s safety (she had undying loyalty towards all Concordat members like him). The first time, the vicious Aberrant cuts Iseul’s head clean off his shoulders with her deadly blue essence shards. Snap.
Sayeon rewinds time a few times and gathers valuable information on their opponent. In one scenario, Cell Four skillfully takes on the powerful captain and defeats her with a beautiful synchronisation of teamwork. She darts away, leaving all the members safe and sound. However, this wasn’t enough for Sayeon, who snapped her fingers again. She needed points. She needed to capture Yesol.
Sayeon lays down a Machiavellian scheme to take her down. She sends Iseul away to fetch Juni- a wild goose chase to get rid of him- and takes Changsub hostage. She plans to slit his throat because, according to her twisted logic, it wouldn’t matter when she rewound time. All she needed was for Yesol to believe her intent to murder. But when Ryujin opposes Sayeon’s idea and Juni arrives on the scene, her plan crumbles into ashes. Juni flings the cell four far away- but not before Ryujin recognizes Yesol (her long-lost friend from the Concordat)- and then fights the Sea Wolf captain one-on-one.
