In Down to Earth Chapter 125-134, Kade confides his conflicting thoughts in Dustin, who gives him the boost he needs. Zay And Kade | New Job
Down to Earth Chapter 125: Confide
In Down to Earth Chapter 125, Zaida tells Suzy how scary it is to have Delilah be so nice to her. Suzy asks if she could be interested in Zay, which Zay brushes aside. She thinks to herself how she would’ve believed Delilah to be a nice person if not for Kade’s memories.
The next scene shows Kade meeting Dustin, in the park. Dustin is bummed out to find Kade had called him to talk about Delilah. As they walk Dustin asks what Kade feels about her. He admits to missing her despite breaking things off himself and how, now that she’s back in his life, he doesn’t want her to talk to him. He confesses to wanting to try again yet not wanting to talk at all. Dustin, surprised by his thoughts, reminds him he had broken up for a reason and to evaluate all her actions. At that Kade criticizes and blames himself, saying he too was in the wrong. Dustin then asks what made Kade want to leave Delilah.
The scene shifts to Delilah congratulating Zay on her photoshoot as the latter is about to leave. She says tomorrow is their last day and that she enjoyed their collab together. She thanks her and tries to leave when Delilah asks if she and Suzy are roommates. Zay pauses and is about to reply when Suzy bangs open the door, trying to hold back a swarm of fans of her friend. Down to Earth Chapter 125 ends with a make-up agency offering Zaida a job and Delilah realizing she is being replaced.
Chapter 126: A Friend In Need
In Down to Earth Chapter 126, Dustin asks Kade what made him leave her. Kade, hesitating, says she had lied to him. Dustin ponders at that and then says she had wronged him a lot and he deserves better. Kade says he too had made a lot of mistakes, making Dustin say they both deserved better. He tells Kade to move on which Kade insists he has tried. Dustin gets annoyed and tells him he always defends Delilah and asks him to have some self-respect. He asks Kade to think about all the times he messed up and the times Delilah did. He says Kade’s wrongs would never amount to Delilah’s.
Dustin then tells Kade he’s in deep denial, and asks if he would even be happy if they got back together. At that, Kade says he wouldn’t get to spend time with Zaida and that would make him sadder than anything else. He then runs off, leaving Dustin thinking he should get his shit together. Kade, upon reaching home, retrieves the pink box and takes it to his backyard. He makes a circle of rocks and, putting the box in the center, flicks a lighter.
Down to Earth Chapter 127: Moving On
In Down to Earth Chapter 127, Kade holds the lighter to the pink box. However, just as the tip of the box catches fire, Kade panics and puts the fire out. He then quickly opens the box, ensuring everything is fine. As he does so, it starts pouring heavily. Frustrated, Kade stands up, yells, and kicks the box. He then puts everything inside and carries the box inside, thinking about what is wrong with him.
The scene shifts to Stace congratulating Miss Zaida on her photoshoot. Zay asks him to call her Zaida or maybe even give her a nickname. Stace perks up at that and says he’ll come up with one. He notices Zay is stressed and asks if she’s fine. She says yesterday was stressful, referring to the swarm of agencies offering her jobs. Stace asks her to let him know in advance if she decides to take up their offer, thinking to himself how she would do that with a fake ID. He lets her know she could quit anytime if it’s too much for her and just as he says that Delilah barges in. Down to Earth Chapter 126 ends with Delilah, glaring at Stace, saying they need to talk.
Chapter 128: Competition
Down to Earth Chapter 128 opens with Delilah asking the point of hiring her if he hired Zaida too. Stace tries to explain but Delilah says his newbie stole her opportunity with a make-up agency. Stace, annoyed, asks how that is his fault when Zay intervenes. She tells Delilah she doesn’t plan on taking up the offer and that it’s still hers. Stace defends Zay saying it’s not her fault she attracts attention and asks Delilah to act more professional. This angers her and she brings up the argument she overheard between Kade and Stace. She tells Zay how Stace hired her to get closer to her and Zay asks Stace if it’s true and says she only wants a job she deserves.
At that Stace turns to Delilah and announces their collab is over. Delilah storms off and Zay, pausing for a moment, runs after her. Before she leaves, Stace tells her how he thinks she deserves the job. Zay catches up to Delilah and asks if they can talk. Delilah asks why Zay would reject such a good offer at which she says she just wants to fit in and nothing more. Zay apologizes to her, making Delilah exasperated and say, “I’m the one who should apologize”. She apologizes and explains modeling is all she got and she gets a bit too competitive. Zay then asks what exactly Delilah had heard between Kade and Stace, concluding Down to Earth Chapter 128.
Down to Earth Chapter 129: Good News
Down to Earth Chapter 129 opens with Delilah thinking about what Stace had told Kade about Zay’s fake ID. Deciding not to mention that, she tells Zay how Kade was standing up for her and asks if they both are dating. Stunned, Zay says they are just really good friends. Delilah sees her blushing and awkward but decides to drop it. She gets up and lets Zay know that she would like to chat again sometime and offers to exchange numbers. As Zay takes her phone she gets a call from Suzy, saying she got big news.
The scene changes to Kade sleeping and getting a call from Ethan. He looks up groggily and tosses the phone away, dreaming of lying on Zay’s lap. Suddenly the scene darkens and Zay turns into Delilah, teasing Kade about how he can’t stop thinking of her. Kade wakes up to someone knocking on his front door.
He opens the door to find Ethan, who notices Kade looking very tired. Ethan apologizes and says he came to return the games he had borrowed. Kade then decides to tell him the fake ID didn’t work out, shocking Ethan. He asks how Zay got the job despite Stace knowing and Kade, frustrated, admits to not knowing either. Ethan then leaves, determined to do something. As he leaves Kade gets a call from Suzy. She says she’s going on a vacation with her sister. Down to Earth Chapter 129 ends with Suzy announcing Zay wants to stay with him.
Down to Earth Chapter 130: Home Sweet Home
In Down to Earth Chapter 130, Suzy drops Zay off at Kade’s and says she’ll be gone for a week. Kade notes how Zay returned with more luggage than she left with. As Zay looks about for Cosmo, Kade looks through her modeling photos, blushing. He notes how good she is and how professional she seems. Zay comes back with Cosmo and Kade says he saw her shoots and expresses his pride in her. Zay blushes thanks him and asks if they can spend their days like they used to long ago. Kade agrees and Zay goes off to change. Zay goes into the bathroom and sees the mess of the half-destroyed pink box and its items. Down to Earth Chapter 130 ends with Zay wondering what happened.
Chapter 131: Cosmo’s Bath Day
Down to Earth Chapter 131 opens with Zay coming out dressed and asking Kade about the mess in the bathroom. Kade takes a moment to process before realizing it. He apologizes and rushes into the bathroom but pauses when Zay asks if he is trying to destroy it. Kade, feeling pathetic, says he failed to take the first step, then says it was a big step for him. He then says he wishes to grow out of it for himself and not to prove a point to anyone else. At that, Zay hugs him from behind and says he took a way bigger step than he realizes.
The next scene shows Kade teaching Zay how to give Cosmo a bath. They bath her together and Cosmo is relishing in the feel of having her fur brushed when Kade announces the need to trim her claws. Cosmo hisses and claws at Zay. The scene changes to Kade apologizing to Zay and getting a band-aid. Kade then suggests learning new recipes and excuses himself to the bathroom before starting. He takes the box from the bathroom and dumps it in his cupboard, concluding Down to Earth Chapter 131.
Down to Earth Chapter 132: Face Routines
Down to Earth Chapter 132 starts with Kade and Zay wearing face masks, Zay telling how Suzy taught her the importance of a healthy face routine. She asks how Kade didn’t teach her that and he says he’s too lazy to have one. He then asks what Suzy taught her and Zay says she learned all about make-up. She asks to test it on him and he reluctantly agrees.
Done with her work, Zay comments on Kade’s handsomeness and he admits to not feeling so handsome. As he wipes the make-up off Zay thanks him and says she loves spending time with him. Kade then asks if she wants to go to an amusement park tomorrow, and Zay cannot conceal her excitement. The next scene shows the two of them watching a romance film together. Zay is raptured by it while Kade is sleepy. A kiss scene appears and Zaida, amazed, looks over at Kade, fast asleep. She sneaks towards him, and Down to Earth Chapter 132 ends with Zay leaning close.
Chapter 133: Curiosity
In Down to Earth Chapter 133, Zay leans over Kade, wanting to kiss him so badly. Then backs off, thinking he wouldn’t like it. She sits back down and wonders why she has such an urge and thinks could she possibly be in love with him. She thinks that when Kade is too close, she has a pleasant feeling inside that doesn’t happen with anyone else. Not wanting to deny her feelings, she wishes to talk to Kade about it but is terrified about Rule Three (set in Chapter 4).
Finally, Zay decides to just enjoy their week together. Just then Kade hums in his sleep, perking her interest and she thinks how watching him won’t hurt. As she leans in to watch Kade sleep, Cosmo jumps onto his balls. Kade jerks up, head slamming against Zay’s, and cries out, “MY BALLS”. Zay apologizes if he’s okay and Down to Earth Chapter 133 ends with Kade asking what just happened.
Down to Earth Chapter 134: Accident
In Down to Earth Chapter 134, Zay explains how she was checking to make sure Kade wasn’t dead. Confused, he is about to ask when Zay wraps her arms around him, exclaiming how glad she is to find him alive, and goes off to the bedroom, wishing him a happy night. In her wake, Kade thinks about him seeing Zay lean over him. He wonders if her curiosity is getting out of hand again. He realizes she could’ve kissed him and he wouldn’t have known.
In the bedroom, Zay’s heart is loud in her ears and she wonders if Kade saw her. She decides to talk to someone about this and thinks if she should tell Ethan or Suzy. However she texts Kade and he texts back, asking if she’s fine since she’s acting weird. Zay says she wanted to apologize but was too embarrassed to do it face-to-face. He chuckles and says how that’s such a Zay thing to do. He compliments her typing skills and she says his is awful. Kade sends a laughing emoji which Zay replies to with a heart one. He blushes at that and wishes her a happy night. She then decides to tell Suzy about her feelings and texts her. However, she texts Ethan by mistake. Down to Earth Chapter 134 ends with Ethan overjoyed at seeing her confessions.
