Down to Earth Chapter 105: The Gang

In Down to Earth Chapter 105, the gang (Kade, Zaida, Suzy, and Ethan) is celebrating Zay getting a job at a Japanese restaurant. Suzy says her first photoshoot will blow up Spenders’. He admits to worrying about her attracting too much attention, and she assures him she will do her best not to stand out. Ethan is happy they are all hanging out together and expresses the need to do so more often. At this, Zaida asks why they cannot meet often, and Suzy replies they are all busy young adults and she would be too. Kade says he, too, would like it if they hung out more often, surprising everyone, but Ethan and Suzy reply in unison, “It’s because Zaida’s here.” Kade, flustered, argues that he’s having a good time nonetheless.

Suzy then asks about the convention and is excited that everyone’s going. She tells Zaida they could do a cosplay together, exciting her. The gang disperses when suddenly Kade stops Zay. He wishes her luck for tomorrow’s photoshoot, beaming with pride, and reminds her everyone will be there for her if she ever needs help. In the next scene of Down to Earth Chapter 105, Suzy and Zaida go to the photo booth, and Down to Earth Chapter 105 ends with Stace welcoming Zaida into the studio.

Chapter 106: Zay’s First Photoshoot

Down to Earth Chapter 106 opens with Suzy waiting for Zaida in the lobby. As she waits, she notices someone familiar outside the studio. She goes closer to the window to find her sister, who is looking around.

The scene shifts to Zaida being greeted by Stace. She is pleased to know he will be her photographer and admits to being nervous. Stace assures her they all are there to help and support her and introduces her to the team. He introduces her to Cherri, the make-up artist, who admires her ‘eyeballs’. She asks Zaida to follow her, and Zaida, slightly unnerved, does as she is asked. Zaida is mesmerized by the photo studio, and Cherri gets to work. They chatted as Cherri combed Zay’s hair, and she noticed how she seemed very familiar.

Cherri asks to call Zaida ‘Zee,’ at which her eyes glow. When Cherri notices the light (as her back is facing her), she quickly covers it up as her phone goes off. Once Zay’s makeover is done, Cherri goes off to fetch her outfits. Down to Earth Chapter 106 ends with Zay appalled to see a pink bikini.

Down to Earth Chapter 107: New Best Friend

Down to Earth Chapter 107 starts with Cherri asking if she is not comfortable with the outfit. Zay imagines showing that much of herself to earthlings and becomes self-conscious. She apologizes and explains she isn’t ready to wear those yet. Cherri tells her not to worry about it and brings out another outfit for her. Zay comes out in an outfit with a picture of Saturn on it in galaxy colors. Stace takes up the camera, and Zay, taking a deep breath, says she’s ready. Zay poses and moves as Stace requests and thinks to herself how all this attention is a bit scary.

The photoshoot comes to an end, and Stace commends everyone for their efforts. He is about to ask Zay out again when Cherri wraps her arms around Zaida from behind, announcing her treat to Zay. They go out to the lobby to inform Suzy, who is surprised by the way Cherri is holding onto Zaida. Cherri introduces herself to Suzy, and Suzy asks if she isn’t too clingy. Cherri brushes it off and claims herself as Zee’s new best friend. This hits Suzy right to the core, and Cherri says Zee is super chill and has something special about her.

Chapter 107.1: Recognition

At lunch, Zaida tries taiyaki for the first time and loves it. Suzy then tells Zay she saw her sister roaming around town. Zay is astonished that Suzy didn’t go over and say hi, and Suzy argues that her sister could be mad at her for leaving. As they talk Cherri is zoned out but is suddenly jolted back to Earth upon seeing someone. Kade and Ethan come over after their cosplay purchase, and Kade stops in his tracks. Cherri cries, sees Kade, and runs into him, wrapping her arms around his neck and asking where he’s been. Down to Earth Chapter 107 ends with a confused Suzy and Zay.

Down to Earth Chapter 108: Drama

In Down to Earth Chapter 108, Cherri says how she and Kade used to be best friends back at school but then drifted apart. She asks him why and notices him going silent and dull on the topic. Brushing it off, she hugs him again and says she’s just happy to see him again. She is noticeably upset throughout all this. Suddenly, Suzy asks if she is the girl who got her heart broken by Kade, making Zay spit the bubble tea. Cherri says that never happened, but Kade asked her out once, which she rejected. Kade complains about the additional information and then notices her slurping her bubble tea and avoiding eye contact. Cherri continues about their friendship, saying she provided the support he needed and tried to cheer him up.

Zay, recalling, thinks of Kade’s memories of Cherri, waking him up after class and letting him know Delilah was looking for him. Zay thinks of Cherri’s uniqueness and wonders about her reaction if Zaida reveals herself. Ethan asks if she is a weeb and invites her to the con upon her confirmation. Cherri says she would love to come if she doesn’t have work that day, even more so if Zaida’s going.

At that, Kade asks how Zaida’s photoshoot went, and Zay beams, saying it went great and that she loved her outfit. Cherri, noticing Zay beaming, puts in how weird it was that Stace had chosen lingerie to be her first outfit. Kade gets furious at this, falling for Cherri’s trap, and Cherri asks if he knows Stace. Suzy explains how they know Stace and Cherri, excited for drama, comments on Stace wanting to see more of her. Down to Earth Chapter 108 ends with his anger reaching its peak.

Chapter 109: Warnings

Down to Earth Chapter 109 opens with Stace asking Delilah to advertise the same outfit Zaida wore for her photoshoot. As she changes into the outfit, disappointed with the lack of pink in it, she hears a thud from outside. Kade grabs Stace by the collar and warns him of ever making her uncomfortable again. Stace counters by saying that even if Zaida and Kade were dating, he didn’t own her, and Zaida could do as she pleases. Kade is about to agree but is interrupted by Stace saying things would be different if he and ‘Miss Zaida’ were to get together, aggravating Kade further. Stace then admits to

Zaida not showing any interest in him and then asks what exactly Zaida is to him. Stace concludes they both like Zay, and despite wanting to be friends, they are now rivals. Kade is about to leave with a final warning when Stace stops him and whispers how he found her ID to be fake. He promises to keep it low if Kade does so too.

Delilah, overhearing their whole conversation, leans to hear the whispers but suddenly trips and falls out of the trial room. She curses her shoes and stands up to find Kade and Stace looking at her. Kade goes off, and Delilah asks Stace what the problem is. Stace brushes it off and gets to the task at hand. Kade goes over to Suzy and fills her in. She panics at the thought of Stace’s motives and asks if they should let Zaida know. Kade decides they should not since Zaida is happy now, and she shouldn’t be upset over this.

Down to Earth Chapter 110: The Convention

In Down to Earth Chapter 110, Zay greets Suzy and shows off her cosplay outfit. She then notices Suzy’s face and asks if she’s fine. Suzy quickly covers it up as a rough day at work and when Zaida insists, lies and says she’s thinking about her sister. Zaida tells her to talk to her sister the next time she sees her and when Suzy asks about her sister being mad at her, Zaida says she wouldn’t know till she talked it out.

The next day, Kade and Ethan are looking around the con for Suzy and Zaida. Ethan catches sight of them, and Kade is mesmerized by Zaida cosplaying a character from a video game. Suzy asks where they should head to first when Ethan comes up with an idea. He drags Suzy away, claiming a voice actor from their favorite show just passed (Note: Suzy and Ethan have nothing in common). Suzy gets the hint and plays along, leaving Kade and Zay alone. The two head over to the booths and admire cosplays and artwork.

Suddenly, a gamer stops her and asks for a video. She agrees and smiles for the camera while Kade admires her. He suddenly notices a blonde guy watching them, and he disappears when Kade looks over. She goes over to him and beams about what just happened, but he gets distracted by the blonde head appearing again. This time, Zay notices, and he says she might be attracting too much attention. Down to Earth Chapter 110 ends with Kade taking Zay to a different area, away from the prying eyes.

Chapter 111: An Old Friend

Down to Earth Chapter 111 opens with Kade telling Zay about that guy following them around and being a total weirdo instead of just coming up to Zay and telling them he liked her cosplay. She says maybe the guy had been admiring Kade, making him go blank. They are stopped by a knight asking for directions to the washroom, and Zaida directs him. As the knight goes away, she whispers to him how the armor has a big booty, making him laugh. As Kade and Zaida talk, the blonde guy suddenly approaches him, exclaiming, ‘IT IS YOU.’

The guy introduces himself as Dustin, Kade’s kindergarten friend. They lost touch when Dustin left town and caught each other up briefly. Dustin says he will be moving back to town and that he could use some genuine friends. He agrees, and Zaida looks at them, beaming. Suddenly, a gigantic teddy bear comes up behind Zaida, grabbing her and taking her away. Kade, talking to Dustin, doesn’t notice till Zaida yells ‘KADE!! HELP!’ Down to Earth Chapter 111 ends with him panicking and looking around for Zaida.

Down to Earth Chapter 112: The Goofy Weeb

In Down to Earth Chapter 112, the teddy bear trips, causing its head to fall off and reveal Cherri. Cherri says she was trying to spook her, and Zaida starts crying, confirming that she did. Seeing her cry, Cherri cries too and hugs Zay, apologizing. Kade and Dustin run over, and he is relieved that Zay is not in danger. Dustin asks if Zaida is his girlfriend, at which she perks up and says she, too, had been curious. After an awkward pause, he says no and tells them Zay is a very close friend of his. Zay, slightly disappointed, introduces herself to Dustin. She then asks for a moment alone with him, and as they go, Cherri comments that Dustin looks like a blonde Kade.

Zaida asks Kade why he had told them she was just a friend when, on the other hand, he told his mother they were dating. Confused, he says there was no point in lying to those two. She asks if she will have to lie throughout her life on Earth. He is speechless at that and is trying to come up with a reply when Ethan and Suzy appear. Suzy stops in her tracks; at the same time, Dustin says, “Uh-oh.” Down to Earth Chapter 112 ends with Suzy exclaiming, “YOU GOOFY WEEB!”

Chapter 113: Growing Friend Group

Down to Earth Chapter 113 opens with Kade teasing Dustin about ‘Goofy weeb.’ Dustin claims it is a nickname Suzy gave him ages ago, and Cherri, in her bear outfit, says it’s a nice nickname to have. Kade, Dustin, and Suzy ask how the other two know each other, and Suzy says, at this point in time, she’s not even surprised. Zaida asks if that’s the goofy weeb that made her quit gaming which Suzy affirms. Dustin, dismayed, says it’s a loss that she stopped gaming, making Zay pull an ‘I told you so’. Dustin comments on Earth being such a small world and Kade agrees. Zaida then admires the growth in their friend group. Dustin then asks to talk to him privately, apologizing if it’s too much.

They go a bit sideways, and Dustin asks if he’s still dating Delilah. The fact that Dustin knows this shocks Kade and Dustin says he had mentioned it the last time they had talked online. He says they had broken up almost 2 years ago. Dustin says he’s glad he broke up with her and reveals he gets a bad vibe from her on the influencer’s page. He says she seemed like such a toxic person and that it was not only him who got that vibe. He gets flashbacks of Delilah being toxic towards him, too, but pushes it aside and says she was nothing but sweet to him. This confuses Dustin, and he says others should just leave her alone.

Down to Earth Chapter 113 ends with Dustin saying it would be nice if he were honest with himself and that he’s just looking out for him.

Down to Earth Chapter 114: Kade’s Home

In Down to Earth Chapter 114, the gang is leaving the con, and Kade says how nice it was to meet Dustin and that he’s glad Dustin’s moving back to town. Zaida thinks of what she overheard Dustin and Kade talk about and goes quiet. Suzy suggests they should take a photo of Zaida for her Instabam, and Cherri claims they cannot be true friends unless they add each other to Instabam. Suddenly, Dustin appears, along with a swarm of his Q-tube fans, and gives his number to Kade before being swallowed up by fans.

Cherri comments on Zay’s cool username and says aliens are rad. Ethan and Cherri take off, making preparations for school and work the next day. Kade goes too, and Suzy asks if she is ready to go when Zay asks if she can go with Kade. Suzy reminds her that she does not need to ask Suzy for permission. She thanks her and runs over to Kade, throwing her arms around his shoulders from behind.

Zay is happy to be back home. She relaxes at the feeling of being back at Kade’s and gaming with him. She then remembers and asks Kade if Delilah was, in fact, sweet to him. The question catches Kade off-guard, and he says she was. At that, Zay asks him to prove it, surprising Kade. Down to Earth Chapter 114 ends with Zaida tapping her forehead and asking to see.
