Chocolate Snow Chapter 1: Aoi Meets Daejoon
Chocolate Snow Chapter 1 begins with a black-haired man (Daejoon) waking up, not knowing where he is, only to come across a silver-haired man with blue eyes (Aoi) next to him.
The story moves to a flashback of last night, after someone called “Sensei” rejected Daejoon, he spent the evening drinking at Bar Forum. Pete, the waiter, had observed how the guy was getting more and more upset. As he kept sinking more on the stool, a guy came up to him with the clear proposition of making his night worthwhile. As the guy starts to cause trouble, Aoi enters the scene and warns the guy to leave his bar.
When Aoi tried to leave, Daejoon desperately held him back and called him “Sensei.” Aoi suggested they call a taxi, but was instead kissed by the man. Aoi was both surprised and worried, so he took the man back to a hotel. After giving him water, he asks him to take a rest. As he checks on him after a couple of hours, Daejoon apologizes, saying he is sober now. However, when Aoi says “let’s get you home,” he pulls him back to the bed and kisses him AGAIN. Daejoon pleads he just wants to forget…and Aoi, although hesitant but agrees. Chocolate Snow Chapter 1 ends with both of them knowing Daejoon is seeking comfort.
Chapter 2: Tattoos, Hangovers, And A Taste of Fate
Chocolate Snow Chapter 2 begins with a passionate kiss between Aoi and Daejoon. Aoi is in charge, and the atmosphere is full of tension, heat, and mixed emotions.
The next morning, Aoi wakes up and discovers that the black-haired man is nowhere to be found. He looks up at the ceiling, obviously shaken but not knowing exactly what to think.
In the next scene, Daejoon meets his best friend, Jung Hwa, at the college campus. After hearing last night’s encounter, Jung Hwa doesn’t ask questions; instead suggests they visit the bar tonight, in case their night together is just as good. Meanwhile, as Pete drops Aoi off, he announces that he has to go back out for ‘someone’.
On the other hand, Jung Hwa is eager to know more. “Is he handsome? Has a good body?” Daejoon pauses, thinking about Aoi’s tattoos, “He was really hot, I guess.” Their banter got cut short after seeing a group of girls squealing at someone passing by. As they look around, there’s Aoi, looking amazing in sharp outfits and walking with an air of fate. Chocolate Snow Chapter 2 ends with Daejoon wondering what Aoi is doing here.
Chocolate Snow Chapter 3: Stuck in the Cubicle
Chocolate Snow Chapter 3 begins with a flashback of Aoi waking up, finding Daejoon is not in the room. Startled to find a wallet in the room, he picks it up, and it’s Kim Daejoon’s ID card. Aoi murmurs, “It seems fate has other plans.” On the other hand, Daejoon is running to catch the train. Well, it’s more out of anxiety about how he slept with a stranger last night. However, he is unsure if they did it last. The cherry on the cake is, he left his wallet in that hotel bar.
In the next scene, Aoi is lost on this massive campus and asks two girls if they know Kim Daejoon. Stunned by his good looks, they decide to look for Daejoon with Aoi. And finally, they see each other again, this time Daejoon is truly sober because he decides to escape. Very appropriately, Aoi corners him in the restroom. Daejoon apologizes, saying he panicked. Hearing footsteps, Aoi pulls him back inside a loo. (Talk about timing!)
Aoi and Daejoon are hugging each other, but the sexual tension is tangible, so the latter informs they need to be quiet. The older one teases, saying why he is suddenly so scared, since last night he was really excited. A few moments later, the silence informs that the students have left. After getting out of the loo, Aoi asks, “So you don’t remember?” ending Chocolate Snow Chapter 3.
Chapter 4: The Truth And the Blur
Chocolate Snow Chapter 4 begins with Aoi handing out Daejoon’s wallet. As Daejoon tries to get close, Aoi smirks and towers over him in a way that reminds everyone of a rom-com villain. “I want you to keep your end of the deal,” he says mysteriously. Daejoon, looking like a puzzled puppy, hardly remembers what happened that night. Everything is just a jumble of heartache, drinking, and possibly a few kisses. He genuinely apologizes, and Aoi watches him for a while and lets him know that it’s all right if he can’t remember.
After a long day of his part-time work at a construction site, Daejoon tries to recall what Aoi meant back at the restroom. On the other hand, Aoi is at his bar chatting with Pete about Daejoon. We learn that nothing really happened between the two that night. After making out for a while, Daejoon fell asleep on top of him, but he woke up again, just to throw up on Aoi. Chocolate Snow Chapter 4 ends with Daejoon recalling his promise to Aoi that night.
Chocolate Snow Chapter 5: Penthouse Surprise
Chocolate Snow Chapter 5 begins with Daejoon entering the bar. Pete immediately recalls him as the troublemaker, but Aoi-san seemed interested in him. After ordering a beer, he just stares into the glass as if it can tell him the solution to his love problems. Pete understands by this shy and scared behavior that Daejoon is clearly waiting for someone, is it Aoi?
The guy who tried to persuade Daejoon that night at the bar is also present with a friend. He is determined to get his way tonight since Aoi is not here. The moment he touches Daejoon’s hand, he grabs it roughly and warns, “I’m not in the mood for a fight today!” Impressed, Pete calls Aoi, likely to mention Daejoon’s presence in the bar. After the call, he approaches Daejoon, asking if he is waiting for his boss.
In the next scene, Daejoon is climbing the stairs to meet Aoi at his penthouse. As he opens the door, he sees Aoi sitting in the dark with glowing gray hair and one leg over the other, “So, what brings you here?”
Chapter 6: The Beginning and the End
Chocolate Snow Chapter 6 begins by briefly showing what happened two years ago, when Daejoon had no thoughts of love. With everything going on at home and so many things to worry about, romance didn’t seem possible. That was, until he met Sensei.
The story moves to a flashback, Daejoon makes his way down a small street, and he runs into Nakayama Hikaru, the “sensei.” Daejoon helps Hikaru with carrying the flowers back to his place. After introducing themselves, the latter offers to help him find a rental place to stay. This was Daejoon’s love at first sight. However, it ended before it could even begin.
Back to the present, Daejoon is standing before Aoi with guilt written all over his face. Finally, he apologizes and shares what he’s been thinking about since that night. He can recall the event now. The way he got drunk, the uproar, and the way he behaved badly. He lowers his tone as he confesses that he didn’t hate it. He actually did like spending time with him.
Surprised by his honesty, Aoi leans closer and suggests Daejoon should come closer if he really wants to apologize for last night. Daejoon’s cheeks grow so red that you could count at least ten shades. Chocolate Snow Chapter 6 ends as Aoi sits there, pleased, while Daejoon is unsure about what to do next.
Chocolate Snow Chapter 7: One Day Date
Chocolate Snow Chapter 7 begins as Daejoon moves closer to Aoi, feeling every heartbeat like a loud drum noise. He kneels before him, clearly confused about where things are going. At the moment everything gets exciting, Aoi surprisingly starts giggling. Daejoon turns red and scolds him for doing so. The next moment, Aoi pulls him closer to his lap, almost hugging him, “Listen carefully, what you have to do is date me.” Although just for ONE DAY!?
The following day, Daejoon is having lunch with Jung Hwa. The latter apologizes for not accompanying him to the bar. He says it’s alright, he got it back. Daejoon asks him if he has ever had a relationship with someone before. Jung says that it’s been some time since he was in one, not since before he was in the military. He then asks Daejoon if he has any plans to date someone.
Daejoon stops, blushes, and gently says “yes” in reply. He hasn’t managed to say the name yet. Chocolate Snow Chapter 7 ends with Daejoon lost in his thoughts, his heart skipping a beat over how he can prepare himself for a one-day date.
Chapter 8: Rules of Dressing and Emotions
Chocolate Snow Chapter 8 starts with Jung and Daejoon leaving the classroom and heading off on a little after-class adventure. To take Daejoon shopping, Jung promises him a free dinner. Jung is busy shopping for the latest clothes at the mall, but Daejoon just watches the fashionable people there. He suddenly feels a little insecure, since he never pays much attention to style and usually wears whatever he finds comfortable. Yet, love (or something very similar) can have a powerful impact on people. Weirdly, Daejoon ends up choosing an elegant outfit for his date with Aoi.
While they are having dinner, Aoi calls Daejoon. Using his smooth voice, he asks when Daejoon will be available. Although work keeps him busy, he promises to adjust his plans to suit Daejoon’s schedule. He mentions he is available Saturday, and Aoi promises to come and get him at that time. Daejoon doesn’t know anything about the date except that it’s planned by Aoi.
Curious about everything, Jung raises an eyebrow and asks, “Was that your lover?” Daejoon nearly suffocates on oxygen and pleads with him to refrain from using that word. Deep down, he begins to ask himself, Why does he feel so much excitement whenever Aoi is near? He had no plans to date anyone, and now, out of nowhere, he is going on a date?
Saturday arrives, Aoi shows up, dapper in a suit, stealing everyone’s attention, ending Chocolate Snow Chapter 8.
Chapter 9: First Date, Fastballs & Flushed Faces
Chocolate Snow Chapter 9 starts with Aoi wondering if he is too early. The next moment, Daejoon arrives, wishing him a good morning. The minute Aoi notices him, he smiles and compliments his appearance, which causes Daejoon to turn bright red.
As they get into the car, they don’t know what to say. This is Daejoon’s first date ever, and he looks very nervous. Noticing this, Aoi decides to mention that he’s been looking for the perfect date spot all week, just like a determined teenager. Seeing Aoi’s reaction, Daejoon wonders if Aoi has never had a date either. Turns out, it is the first time for both guys when Aoi says, “Not really,” and they both freeze and start blushing.
While the park itself is lovely, the real highlight is the batting cage. Daejoon doesn’t want to go, but Aoi convinces him by saying it would be the ideal way to release emotions, especially for someone unsure about their feelings. Aoi, now acting as a coach, demonstrates quickly: he hands Daejoon his jacket, takes the position, and hits the ball with the perfect swing. Daejoon is watching with admiration and a little wonder in his eyes.
After that, it’s his turn to play. Daejoon walks up to the position, bat in hand and ready to play his part. He wants to avoid making a fool of himself around Aoi and perhaps even make him proud. Chocolate Snow Chapter 9 ends with swinging bats on their first date, taking a new direction.
Chocolate Snow Chapter 10: Bedroom Eyes
Chocolate Snow Chapter 10 begins as Daejoon enters the batting cage and smacks the first ball. He seems as happy as a child who has aced a new skill. Seeing Daejoon so confident, Aoi feels a knot in his throat because he looks truly attractive. After that, they go to a restaurant. As soon as they enter, everyone looks at them as if they’re celebrities on a secret date. Daejoon leans over and asks, “Why are people looking at me?” Aoi simply says that people are likely enchanted by his good looks. Daejoon almost lets out a blush, wondering, “Isn’t it the other way around?”
While having ice cream, Aoi looks at Daejoon as if he were the dessert. He wipes away a little bit of cream from Daejoon’s face, as if it’s no big deal, AND licks it from his finger. Daejoon’s face turns as red as a ripe cherry.
In the next scene, Daejoon teaches Aoi how to use the gun in the shooting game. Seeing him shooting so well, Daejoon jumps in excitement. He starts questioning if he may be bothering Aoi, but Aoi grabs his hand and pulls him away. The next moment, they are in a dimly lit bedroom, and Aoi asks Daejoon to take off his jacket for him. With their faces very close, the atmosphere turned full of tension, ending Chocolate Snow Chapter 10.
